Well, Dreamwave left Image (and this was BEFORE they started producing Transformers) and I'd say that they're doing pretty well. I'm not a big fan of Blaylock's writing, but he seems to have some decent business sense, so Devil's Due should be ok, as long as they don't overreach themselves.

Probably because they're afraid that he'll tear his quad right before they give him his walking papers. Still, if he's off for a while filming Punisher (and btw how many people here groaned when they heard that?) he's off my TV, so I won't complain...

That WAS pretty funny, but they brought it upon themselves by not trying harder to find a flight. Now if they had done that 2 legs ago the Clowns would have made the final 3 and probably stood a very good chance of winning. Anyways, I wouldn't mind Reichen and Chip winning so much if it their attitudes didn't suck. They basically spent the entire Race with a (no pun intended) chip on their shoulder and it prevented me from sympathizing with them. I guess it never dawned on them that in a race where if you're last in a leg, you're eliminated, whatever sexual preference you have is not a factor. The teams don't want to beat you because you're gay - they want to beat you, period. Anyways, attitude aside, they were definitely more deserving winners than She-who-will-not-be-named. Still wish the Clowns or Jon and Kelly won though.

You mean Chef Tony, the guy who looks like he might roll over and die of a clogged artery? Jason and/or Freddy vs Keith Richards Freddy vs Wolverine vs Vega/Balrog from Street Fighter II vs Han from Enter the Dragon

If history has taught us anything, she'll be barking like a dog within 2 months of debuting... The funny part is that, based on the success they've had with Trish, Victoria and Torrie (well, kinda with Torrie), the WWe would probably love to have another 'fitness model' in the fold.

Basically it's where you lose points for giving up sacks, and that's about it. Not surprisingly, Houston was not chosen in the draft...

Poor Phil. They always mention that he was a World Champ, in 1989. That's almost 15 years ago. He keeps getting to the final table on WPT and then some amateur takes him down. You forgot to mention that he gets his head shaved over it as well, and will probably never hear the end of it from Gabe Kaplan...

A NWA-TNA girl, apparently. Now wait a minute. Trish hasn't been beaten up by Jackie Gayda yet...

Here's my picks from my 14 team keeper league. Bear in mind that, for the most part, all the starting RBs have been kept from the previous season. * indicates kept from last season QB - Steve McNair*, Kerry Collins, Carson Palmer WR - Amani "It's not a" Toomer, Santana Moss, Dennis Northcutt, Brian Finneran, Az-Zahir Hakim, Bryant Johnson RB - Amos Zeroue*, Tiki Barber*, Michael Pittman TE - Alge Crumpler, Eric Johnson K - Mike Vanderjagt*, Phil Dawson D - Green Bay*, Jacksonville O - Philadelphia, San Francisco Special Teams - Oakland, California Anyways, this is not a top tier team by any stretch of the imagination, but I've got some guys that should be pretty decent next year (Palmer, Zeroue, B Johnson). Of course, I can only protect 1 QB, so if I still have McNair and Palmer by the end of season I'll have an interesting dilemma. And if the Giants don't do well I'm kinda screwed. It wasn't intentional on my part, but I needed a backup QB and Collins happened to be the best one available at the time.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Bettis go in on short yardage situations. He could probably be their version of the Vikings Moe Williams, which still makes him very valuable, fantasy league-wise. I kept Zeroue last year in my keeper league, which seems like a pretty good move now. Mind you, I was keeping him with an eye towards NEXT year but I guess we'll see what happens...
-
Bah, he's been doing that for a few years now. If he doesn't start landing 1080s I'm not gonna be impressed.

You may think that's funny, but I'd guesss that it's one of the bonus matches. That No Way Out match was tons better than it had any right to be. So replace this one with "Trish wheels around a catatonic Linda McMahon"...

World Series of Poker (and the World Poker Tour on the Travel Channel) is strangely compelling. Although seeing Phil Hellmuth lose may be partially responsible for that. But all things considered, I'd rather watch poker and X-Games over baseball any day...

A very good question, considering that she went to York University, where people are more known for their looks than brains...

I read it, and it was decent, in an Elseworlds sort of way. The problem, really is that the issue is all buildup, which in this day and age is no better than issue 4 of a 6 issue arc (the blatant filler issue done with an eye towards a TPB). After reading Newsarama I knew what I was getting, and I'll have to give it a couple of issues to see if it gets going.
-
As I'm on a budget I've never read it, but I may pick up the TPB if it comes out.

Star Wars Jedi Aayla Secura One Shot, $4.99, maybe Exiles #31, $2.99

No vote, because during the sporadic times that I do watch the late night talkers it's been about the same to me. Conan is still Conan.

Anyone remember him as the "drunk uncle" on "Family Ties"? Anyways, I chose Big for nostalgia reasons.

Damn, a Riot reference. Wonder what the lovely Miss Littlejohn is doing now...

The Talent That's Going To Miss Out on SS...

The 'Big 4' PPVs should have some 'inter-brand' (intermural?) matches. Why not have StormDust face Matt Hardy and his MFer? -
Hey, if the Kobe Bryant case is "good" for the NBA then this has gotta be good for the WNBA, right?
-
Legace should have been the starter last year anyways, imo.
-
Well, that's a headline I'd never thought I'd see...

Yeah, the Bruins are tight (they're the only team to ever walk away from a salary arbitration decision) but sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet, especially with a goalie. The question I'd ask is what they're willing to give up for him.
