Screw Team Guido, I want Cha Cha Cha in as the Token Gay Team. They can get Kevin and Drew to be the requisite Season One team.

On the plus side, Rick Mercer was on fire talking/ranting about it yesterday. Basically, it's a brilliant short term move that shuts the Bloc up and fucks the Liberals up. As for the NDP... well, noone cares about the NDP. Long term... well, chances are Harper won't be PM when whatever repercussions happen. Which would bode well for Bob Rae should he become Liberal leader and PM - he's used to getting screwed over by previous regimes.

Re-X-aminations - best X-issue of the year. Whoever decided to get PAD back into the X-Sub-Universe... bravo. I'm still going WTF? with Whedon's 3rd story arc. Maybe it'll all make sense with his final one. New X-Men is another great title. And I'm surprised, given how I dislike X-23...

Thats funny, because the last 2 parts were good better than the previous two. Still more like the way all the house of M stuff were spin-offs, that has nothing to do with the main plot. Neither did Civil War: X-Men, which pissed me off greatly.

I'd rather Goyer was exec producing as opposed to Mark Steven Johnson. Johnson obviously loves comics, but his DD was, shall we say, very inconsistent. I guess we'll have to wait until Ghost Rider to see if he's improved.

That would be awesome. If they thought they hated Colin, wait until they meet Boston Rob. The blonde ones? They were Amish? I'm all for seeing more of Yolanda. Ray, not so much, but it's a package deal, I suppose. Because they're nice people. They can't race well at all, but they're nice people. Yeah, they were cool. I'm assuming that the Original Douche isn't participating, since he and Victoria just had a little Douche. The Clowns probably aren't in this, since Jon is doing the Finish Line on innertube. And hopefully they got "just friends" Debbie and Bianca.

I've been reading some stuff about TAR11, which started filming, and

I get a creeped out version of House vibe thinking about it that way...

The beauty of it is you never see how he acquires the powers. Imagination does a better job than a visual reference ever could.

I thought Blanche was the whore.

Agreed, however bear in mind that most important character does not necessarily mean a major character, although in this case I would say it does. Examples of female leads blah blah blah: Although I've never watched, Joan of Arcadia and Veronica Mars come to mind. Ellen too, I suppose.

I think it's Peter. I don't know how the whole "Save the Cheerleader" thing altered the timeline, but remember when Hiro teleported to Issac's apartment before the explosion and saw a newspaper that said Nathan wins the election by a landslide? I'm thinking that Peter dies and Nathan, being the selfish ass we have seen, uses it and his wife's paralysis to his advantage to gain the sympathy vote. Peter is the best, most "holy shit" choice of all the characters. He's one of the two people that WANT to be a hero, and if he dies that would absolutely devastate people in a way that the Lost deaths never did. With that being said, he's already died once.

How you missed talking about the dueling afros of Debrii and Monica Rambeau (where are the rest of Nextwave, anyway?), I'll never know. I gave up after two issues of YA/Runaways. Just horrible. Zeb Wells is the new Howard Mackie. Civil War: X-Men was nothing more than District X v3. For some reason they keep shoehorning the Hine minis into the flavour of the moment. This time, it didn't work. The best Civil War tie in, IMO, is Front Line. Really good stuff there.

His power is that he can steal other people's powers by killing them? My thinking is Mimic (minus the five power maximum) crossed with Hannibal Lecter.

I think the whole idea was to show us that, indeed, Bellick is not all that smart. And now he's gonna be Avacado's personal guacamole. "Charmingly evil" were the words my wife used. She cut her hair. All that scraping was apparently to sharpen the blade. I think we were meant to think that she was gonna kill herself. We will if anyone bothers to look north instead of south.

It's possible. Maybe the angrier Niki/Jessica is, the stronger she gets?

You know, it could just be that H.R.G. has a power, where he's immune to telepathy. The Haitian would seem to be the Yin to HayEden's Yang (or is he the Yang to her Yin?) - He has the power to take memories away from people, while she has the ability to place suggestions into people. I don't think that his power extends beyond that - they haven't shown anyone outside of Sylar to have more than one power, and Sylar's power is actually akin to Rogue's, albeit in a mythological kind of way.

Probably an offshoot of 8.

Refute this statement and I'll tear you a new asshole

The thing about Seinfeld is that we liked watching these inherently unlikeable characters. And the finale was basically a really long way of making us ask ourselves... "Why?" -
I'm sure that back when they started making this movie in 1938 they were saying "let's make a really fucking gay movie" in anticipation of some guy on an internet board in 2006 declaring it to, indeed, be "a really fucking gay movie"...

Definitely. First off 'Bama got screwed over on their chance to Yield because of (seemingly legitimate) operating hours. Never mind that they were gonna waste it by Yielding the Barbies without even thinking about it strategically. Then Zoolander and Douche IV/Kim don't Yield the Barbies, leaving the BQs to do what at that point was smart and Yield 'Bama. Then 'Bama complain about they Yield being typical of the BQs, even though they would've done the same thing in that position. Finally, the other teams noted how 'Bama were good with maps and directions. Which leads me to ask: why the fuck did they keep following the Chos? It should've been reversed.

Another win. One more to guarantee my first .500 season...

The former, perhaps. The latter, maybe not. I think for many of the "documentary"-style reality shows there's too much scripting or forced situations to consider them a true doc. But it's a blurred line. Take "Super Size Me" for example. It's technically a documentary, and certainly there are a lot of documentary elements to it. But subjecting yourself to that sort of diet is pretty reality tv-ish. And it doesn't help that the spin-off, 30 Days, is considered a reality show.
