Yep, we're back to 11 teams of two. CBS posted the cast list and here are some quick thoughts: Names: BJ Averell (26, Online Tutor, Los Angeles, CA) and Tyler MacNiven (25, Filmmaker, San Francisco, CA) Relationship: Best friends Must... kill... hippies... Names: Scott Braginton-Smith (41, Sales, West Harwich, MA) and John Lowe (38, Wealth Manager, Dorchester, MA) Relationship: Life-long friends George Lopez and William Mapother team up for the Race. Names: Yolanda Brown-Moore (27, Science Teacher, Chicago, IL) and Ray Whitty (31, Attorney, Chicago, IL) Relationship: Dating Ray looks... intense. Names: Monica Cayce (23, Student, Fayetteville, AK) and Joseph Meadows (23, Homebuilder, Fort Smith, AK) Relationship: Dating Based on Monica's looks alone, Joseph is one lucky bastard. Michelle (36, Homemaker) and Lake (37, Dentist) Garner (Hattiesburg, MS) Relationship: Married Parents Final Three potential Names: Joni Glaze (44, Children's Minister, Katy, TX) and Lisa Hinds (48, Realtor/Artist, Santa Rosa Beach, FL) Relationship: Sisters First out, I hope. Desiree's cute though. Names: Jeremy Ryan (26, Valet, Fort Lauderdale, FL) and Eric Sanchez (27, Waiter, Fort Lauderdale, FL) Relationship: Friends Probably most likely to win. Names: Dani Torchio and Danielle Turner (22, Recent College Graduates, Staten Island, NY) Relationship: Childhood Friends Nice racks. Not looking forward to the Long Island accents though. Names: Lori Willems (25, Pizza Hut Manager, Manhattan, KS) and David Spiker (30, Musician, Manhattan, KS) Relationship: Dating I take that back. These two will be the first out.

Shhh, it sounds closer their way...
-
True, but on the "right" legs. And they also finished first about five times, so I suppose that they were both lucky and good.
-
Of course, they conveniently leave out that Kelly did it with an album specifically designed to move her away from her Idol roots. Worst part of this was that they gave Clive Davis a live mic. Guy rambles on more than HHH...

Damn you Hippies... I was rooting for the Frat Boys... Still, I can't hate on a finish that involves three likeable teams. Plus, the Hippies did well all Race, so it's not like they back doored their way to the win.
-
That's about what I'm thinking, although the Hippies may be impacted by the lack of warm clothing.
-
Someone must be watching it. Me, I'm watching two hours of The Amazing Race.

I'd call Taylor more "lounge singer" than karaoke. Kat is more the karaoke style.
-
What, so they should vote for Taylor because he's got man-boobs?
-
I thought it was performed just right, for Kat. The problem is that we're used to hearing it in a musical or a movie, so it had to be rearranged from that. If anything, it provided a stark contrast from Clive's pick, which she Celined like there was no tomorrow. For the record, I had Elliott and Kat about even, but the fact that she was bottom two plus the boobs may give her a slight edge to stay.

Dunno, but does anyone besides us remember that "I Believe I Can Fly" was from Space Jam? *raises hand* Sorry, I meant "us" as in this forum...

If Taylor gets a drunken/doped up Paula up to the stage to dance, I think we've got the AI performance of the year. BTW, I only made it a minute into that butchering of "When Doves Cry".
-
Didn't Monica sing that as well? So true. Clay was actually similar to Chris in that he was really unable to operate outside of his comfort zone - ClearChannel-approved "Lite Rock". I never saw him as very good with anything upbeat. That being said, I think the "anti-Clay" probably helped Ruben win. That's how you win Randy's approval. Just ask Corey Clark.
-
Can't have a final three without Clive there to make Paula's comments seem harsh...
-
Wife loves the show, I don't mind it too much. I think Sandra Oh's overrated as an actress though - I think she won her Golden Globe based on her storyline and ethnicity. Sounds kinda weird coming from an Asian guy, no?
-
I think it was the football helmet that elevated it to "awesome" for me. Remember kids, safety first.
-
I didn't think much of this until I read the descriptions, but... OK, so it's not like NBC already doesn't have a sitcom and a drama with the same basic premise, but Scrubs came along well after ER. Debuting these two shows at the same time? I'm not sure that's wise.
-
Looking at that again I think you meant to say "lowest center of gravity". Bruce woulda kicked everyone's arses.
-
No, I think it's yelling "...or so help me I WILL kill you" or words to that effect.
-
From my Cynopsis email this morning...
-
OK, well, based on Murtz' predictions, the results are...
-
Have you seen something we're not privy to? Because I'd think he'd kill Aras and Cirie/Danielle in the final challenge. Maybe. Too many Alpha Males on one tribe.
-
If I'm lucky, the schedule on Globak up here in Canada will remain the same, so I'll see it a wee bit earlier than you guys...

Good question. There was never an Exile Island for Colby or Tom, but there was arguably more competition for them in individual challenges. Tom and Terry both have seemed to reach a zen-like state during endurance/stamina challenges. Overall I'd give Tom a slight edge because he led Koror to a clean sweep of team Immunities.
