Does anyone remember this? Bret Hart gets a psychic reading on "Contact: Talking With the Dead" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jq1I7E4XCms It's funny because at one point, the medium says something about the Harts not being the "normal American family".

I have a feeling Transformers is gonna be a bomb at the box office, I was never hyped up for a live-action version to begin with, and although the trailer looks much better than I would've expected, I don't know anyone outside of Transformers fanboys, who wants to see it. And I seriously doubt The Simpsons will do as good as some of you think. I mean, sure it's popular, but the show has been free on TV for 17 years, the writing has seen better days, and it will probably come in about 8th place overall. And for the record, I'd much rather see "Chuck & Larry" than Shrek 3, Harry Potter, or Evan Almighty (am I the only person who doesn't find Steve Carroll funny?). Spiderman 3 is the one I *hope* is the biggest hit, simply because Spiderman is the best superhero movie franchise of all-time, IMHO.

The version I heard was that it shrunk your balls. That's odd, the version that went around my highschool was that Mountain Dew had Yellow #5 in it and it would make your dick bigger. lol Another urban legend I always heard was that Arby's roast beef starts out as gel, and isn't really meat at all. And McDonald's hamburger meat is made of earthworms.

Nope, Blade is still in High School(the one I went to school with). It is the one that had the fascination with HBK, that's the one that's all over Wrestling with Shadows........ I always wondered if that bothered Bret that he hated HBK and his son, Blade, loved the guy. There's some fairly recent pics of Blade and Dallas Hart on Julie Hart's website (there are also pics of Bret's daughters and Dynamite Kid's children elsewhere on the site): http://www.juliehart.ca/news/dallas_blade_...ng/rafting.html

She was banging Batista at one point, but now seems to be back to just Nitro (but who really knows?). Last I heard, Batista is now dating ECW interviewer and Diva Search reject, Rebecca DiPietro

From Mike's Real Estate job website profile: http://www.floridamoves.com/agentoffice/ag...amp;agent=76301 Mike Awesome We mourn the unexpected passing of Michael Alfonso on February 17, 2007. We pray for his soul and for his family. Mike truly was Awesome, he will be dearly missed. The following brief self written bio will remain for a short time. Early Years I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. I attended King High School, where I met my future wife, Delisa Bowers. Delisa and I were married in 1991. We have 2 children, Casey (10) and Carissa (6). After high school, I was employed as an iron worker for 1 year to save for college. I assisted in the construction of several high rises in Downtown Tampa. Wrestling Career After 3 years in college, I decided to take a different career path. I became a professional wrestler. I wrestled the majority of my 17 years in Japan, as "The Gladiator". I became emerced in the Japanese culture and even speak some of the language. I also wrestled in China, South Korea, Guam, Australia, Germany, England, Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Canada and the United States. I feel blessed to have had such an exciting and successful career in wrestling. I did not employ the services of a business manager during my career. I handled and negotiated all contracts myself. Real Estate Career After retirement from wrestling, I took 1 year off to spend time with my family. During that time, I also obtained my real estate license. I chose to work with Coldwell Banker because of their reputation and excellent training program. I am ready to put my life experiences to work for you. I am highly motivated and backed by Coldwell Banker's 100 years of experience

Maxx Payne brings an interesting comment
Celtic Jobber replied to Mecca's topic in General Wrestling
Ric Flair is so old now that it's almost embarrassing to see him wrestle, and he should never be seen in public without a shirt. Actually, Flair looks even older than he really is, I have friends who believe Ric's in his late 70's. But, it's not as if WWE depends on him to sell tickets or main event anymore (unless I've missed something). -

WON News + Notes, 29th January Issue
Celtic Jobber replied to The Decemberists's topic in The WWE Folder
God, I hate Arn Anderson. There's no way in hell Bob Holly could ever get over as a main eventer, I would say that I hope Bob's in-ring career really is over, just so WWE couldn't give him anymore un-needed pushes. But they would probably give him a job as a road agent where he'd be even more counter-active to a good product. And CM Punk was getting over like no one else has in several years, until WWE's braintrust yanked the rug out from underneath him. -

Wrestling Observer Awards 2006

I know what you mean, and you're right about UFC having more cross-over appeal. I just don't personally see what's appealing about MMA, and I'm sure many hardcore MMA fans feel the same way about wrestling. But that's only my personal view, and I wouldn't presume to speak for all wrestling/mma fans. -

UFC as promotion of the year? MMA groups really shouldn't be grouped with pro wrestling any more than boxing (or, hell even baseball or football) should. -

Interesting news from today's Observer update: --When Edge and Shelton Benjamin were on Showbiz Tonight on CNN they talked about the mortar that landed only 300 yards from the base while the wrestlers were at Camp Victory. They showed the video. There was an uncomfortable moment when the female host of the show said, "Now, we all know wrestling is fake...big shocker, but what goes on in Iraq is real and" . . then she asked Edge about how he felt about going. Edge said in response, that this was his first trip going because the first time he was suppose to go he had a broken neck in this fake industry of ours.

Things we didn't know a year ago
Celtic Jobber replied to CanadianGuitarist's topic in The WWE Folder
Marty Jannetty returning and re-forming the Rockers for one-night-only, then proceeding to get fired and re-hired like 3 times. Mickie James would become the top female babyface on Raw. Kane would have a months-long feud with M.V.P. Cryme Time would debut and set African-American stereotypes back another 25 years. -
I hope I'm wrong with most of these, but I have no faith in this company: By mid-summer, C.M. Punk will be de-pushed and become a JTTS like Scotty 2 Hotty, because of his size and lack of heat after being booked in months of shitty feuds without being put over strong. RVD will jump to TNA when his contract runs out. Batista will end Undertaker's undefeated streak at Wrestlemania. Taker will beat the hell out of him afterward to "get his heat back." Mark Henry will return and have another main event feud with Batista on Smackdown, and Henry will even hold the world title for a few months... before he suffers a career-ending injury. DX will feud with the McMahon's for another year. Edge will feud with Carlito; and Torrie Wilson will turn on Carlito to become Edge's new valet. Randy Orton will feud with Cena and become WWE Champion again. Lashley will get the All-American "Hogan-like" babyface push throughout the year, and he'll end up on RAW after ECW folds. He won't get over, but Vince won't care/notice. Chris Jericho will return around October, 2007.

WON News and Notes (11 December Issue)

I hate Jeremy Borash, I don't think the lady who replaced him is any worse than he was. JB's annoying and far too metro-sexual to be on a wrestling show.
