Ever since I upgraded to Internet Explorer 7, I have to retype my login and password on websites and forums such as this. When I had IE6, it would always save them for me and I rarely had to re-enter unless I deleted cookies. Does anyone know how I can get IE7 keep me signed in to these websites? I've tried everything I can think of and nothing has helped (including making them "Trusted websites"). Thanks in advance.

Anyone who watched the old WWF syndies will remember this -- Mr. Freeze freezer bars commercial with Lord Alfred Hayes voiceover: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9yyWmDBCHI

Remember when the WWF used to air special promos on their syndicated shows when a house show was coming to your town? Here's 2 promoting a May 31, 1993 show in Biloxi. Undertaker (with Paul Bearer) and Giant Gonzalez (with Harvey Wippleman) promos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhx-6oIrq4g Bret Hart and Lex Luger promos: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ie3_yP5-Td4

Unless I missed something, CM Punk didn't seem to be featured at all in the last hour or so. Does anyone think WWE had him pulled from the show because of his comments? (Or maybe he just pissed off the "Ghost Hunter" people...?)

I really try not to think about it. Why is Jesse's commentary ok on 24/7? Why is some music ok on 24/7 but not DVD? Perhaps they pay when they really need something. A full episode of SNME with Vince talking to himself would be really odd. A Demolition special where the theme is CONSTANTLY being played with an edited theme would also be really weird. I think they only have to pay music and Jesse royalties for home video releases. I don't have WWE 24/7, but I remember when WWE Confidential showed matches from the "vault" they always left Jesse's commentary in as well.

Rey already had a DVD, as did Cena. They should release dvds on Randy Savage, The British Bulldogs, Demolition, Ted DiBiase, Owen Hart, and Vader.

Yes. Kelly is much prettier. If you think Kelly Clarkson is so pretty, take a look at her without makeup... Don't get me wrong, Ashley is no Trish Stratus, but she is still like supermodel hot compared to that dog Kelly Clarkson.

Memorable examples of WWE, burying a wrestler while..
Celtic Jobber replied to a topic in General Wrestling
Mike Awesome getting squashed by Tazz for the World Title in ECW after he signed with WCW. And then Tazz jobbed to HHH on Smackdown soon after. -
I'm never glad when someone gets injured, but I do see this as a good thing. The only better thing would be if WWE released Henry. Hell, if only he would've been released 2 years ago, he would probably be sitting home eating tons of fast food and this injury would've never happened. And I agree that alot of you are totally over-rating Fit Finley. The average fan sees him as a mid-card distraction at best and he's boring most of the time. Maybe he's a good basic "wrestler" but that's not good enough for him to be in the main event. Granted I'd prefer Fit in the main event 100 times more than Mark Henry. But still, if I wanted to fall asleep watching a match; I'd watch UFC.

The fact that some people still think Montreal was a work isn't surprising at all. Hell, I know a few people who actually think Pillman, Owen, and Eddie are all still alive and their deaths were just part of the show.

The thread about ketchup on hot dogs gave me the idea for this. I noticed no one else in that thread mentioned putting mayonnaise on their hot dogs, but where I live that is the custom and I never thought about anyone not using mayo on them. Other things we eat here (in southern Mississippi) that others don't seem to like are: French dressing (aka Catalina) on our pizza, (though some prefer ketchup) Salt on fruits; such as apples, strawberries, grapes, pineapple, cherries, blackberries, and watermelon Salt on dill pickles, raw carrots, and almost anything else... Pineapple or banana and mayonnaise sandwiches Eggs in tuna salad And we also like sweet iced tea, year-round. Not everyone where I live enjoys all of these, but I'd say the majority likes a few of these at least. Does anyone else here have any strange (or regional) food combinations you like that other people don't eat (or have never heard of)?

Here's mine: -Batista is vastly under-rated and one of the first true "superstars" in years. -Triple H isn't the prick that most net fans make him out to be, and he's very under-rated. -Randy Orton is a great wrestler with tons of potential. -Edge is the new Shawn Michaels. -Sid Vicious was vastly under-rated -Brock Lesnar was vastly over-rated -Eddie Guerrero wasn't the angel some people have made him out to be after his death. -I also never saw what was so great about Dynamite Kid, I liked the British Bulldogs because of Davey Boy Smith. -RVD should've been pushed to the moon when he first came to WWE and should've won the World Title then, but now he should never be more than an upper mid-carder at best. -Kid Kash and Jamie Noble should be sent to Nu-ECW and used to kick-start a strong tag division for the brand. -Mark Henry still sucks (alot of people on the net seem to love the guy for whatever reason) -Shawn Michaels should retire, before he pisses away whatever legacy he has left. -Raven should retire also, it's almost sad to see him now. -Jim Cornette as a character is the most over-rated personality in the history of the internet community. I always found him to be really hokey and border line embarrassing as a manager, and equally bad as a color commentator in the WWF.

There are two things I just can't have for breakfast.
Celtic Jobber replied to Star Ocean 3's topic in Food Folder
I never could eat pizza for breakfast, and just the thought of eating cold pizza makes me gag. -
I prefer both, but if I could only have one it would be mayonaise. Both are good together on sandwiches, hot dogs, and in tuna salad.

Clerks 2 - The release date is almost here...
Celtic Jobber replied to Downhome's topic in Television & Film
As do I. I just hope her presence doesn't single-handedly ruin this film for me. -
Does anyone else think RVD will get booed or atleast receive plenty of "you fucked up" chants at One Night Stand if he's as sloppy and unmotivated as he's been the past few weeks? I'm starting to think he should turn heel after ECW hits Sci-Fi, with the storyline being that he's bitter because Paul E. wants to take ECW in a different direction and with a bigger star (Kurt Angle).

Crappy Basic Cable Channel Lineups
Celtic Jobber replied to Celtic Jobber's topic in Television & Film
Well there's quite a few more than 7, but the vast majority of digital channels here are sports and science, nothing that really interests me other than G4, and I wouldn't pay the extra $13 just for that... 300 GOLF The Golf Channel 301 ESPN NEWS ESPN News 302 ESPN CLASSIC ESPN Classic 303 FOX SOCCER CHANNEL Fox Soccer Channel 304 SPEED CHANNEL Speed Channel 305 OUTDOOR CHANNEL Outdoor Channel 306 FOX COLLEGE SPORTS ATLANTIC Fox college Sports: Atlantic Region 307 FOX COLLEGE SPORTS CENTRAL Fox College Sports Central Region 308 FOX COLLEGE SPORTS PACIFIC Fox College Sports Pacific Region 309 FUEL Fuel Network 310 COURT TV Crime & Justice 311 SOAP NET Soap Opera Channel 312 HALLMARK The Hallmark Channel 315 FOX MOVIE CHANNEL Fox Movies 321 MILITARY CHANNEL Military Channel 322 BIOGRAPHY Biography Channel 323 DISCOVERY HEALTH Discovery Health 324 HISTORY INTERNATIONAL The History Channel International 325 DISCOVERY SCIENCE Discovery Science 326 G4 G4 videogame tv 327 NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC National Geographic Channel 328 TVG TVG Network 340 TOON DISNEY Toon Disney 341 BOOMERANG Boomerang 342 DISCOVERY KIDS Discovery Kids -
The ECW on Sci-Fi thread where some people said they don't have the Sci-Fi channel gave me the idea for this thread. It sucks because in many towns, like mine, there is only one choice for a Cable company (aside from getting a dish). And it's also pretty expensive now since they go up on the price like every year (it's now $46.99 for basic cable here after taxes and a "franchise fee"). Does anyone else here not receive seemingly common cable channels such as Comedy Central (which sucks because I love South Park), E!, Bravo, BBC America, or MTV2? This is our local lineup on CableOne in Pascagoula, MS: 2 ABC WLOX ABC Television Network 3 FOX WXXV Fox Network 4 WGN WGN Chicago 5 CBS CBS Television Network 6 TV GUIDE TV Guide 7 IND WKFK-7 Independent Station 8 PBS PBS Television Network 9 QVC QVC Shopping Network 10 FOX Fox Network 11 NBC NBC Television Network 12 TBS TBS 13 LOCAL ACCESS Local Access 22 DIGITAL INFO Digital TV Information 23 ESPN2 ESPN2 24 ESPN ESPN 25 CNN HN CNN Headline News 26 CNN CNN News 27 MSNBC MSNBC 28 USA USA Network 29 CMT Country Music Television 30 SPIKE TV Network for Men 31 MTV Music Television 32 VH-1 VH-1 33 HISTORY The History Channel 34 TLC The Learning Channel 35 DISCOVERY Discovery Channel 36 A&E A&E Network 37 ABC FAMILY ABC Family Television 38 FX FX 39 FOX SPORTS (SO) Fox Sports South 40 TNT Turner Network Television 41 THE WEATHER CHANNEL The Weather Channel 42 HGTV Home and Garden Television 43 FOOD Food Network 44 LIFE Lifetime Television 45 ANIMAL PLANET Animal Planet 46 EWTN Eternal World Television Network 47 AMC American Movie Classics 48 WB Warner Brothers Network 49 TV LAND TV Land 50 NICK Nickelodeon 51 DISNEY Disney Channel 52 CARTOON Cartoon Network 53 INSPIRATION The Inspirational Network 54 TCM Turner Classic Movies 55 SCI-FI Sci-Fi Channel 56 CNBC CNBC 57 FOX NEWS Fox News 58 BET Black Entertainment Television 59 C-SPAN 2 60 ABC WLOX 24/7 Weather ABC Television Network 61 CSPAN Congress & Senate Coverage 62 HSN Home Shopping Network 98 INFOMERCIALS Infomercials 99 INFOMERCIALS Infomercials And really, who needs even one Infomercial channel, much less two?

Crappy Basic Cable Channel Lineups
Celtic Jobber replied to Celtic Jobber's topic in Television & Film
Even on Digital Cable which costs about $13.00 extra (including receiver rental) the only extra channels are Hallmark, CourtTV, G4, Boomerang, ToonDisney, Discovery Science, SoapNet, and a few more ESPNs. And, here in Mississippi, people don't buy shit off infomercials they buy it at Wal-Mart, because it's basically the only store in town (unless you go to Alabama... LOL). -
I'm glad ECW will be on a channel I actually get on my local cable company, but I don't know how well it will fit in on the station. BTW, some people don't SciFi? Hell, I have like the shittiest cable company in America (CableOne), we don't get Comedy Central, Bravo, or MTV2, and we have to pay extra for crap like Hallmark and CourtTV. But we do get SciFi...

Actually Sabu signed a contract with WWE's new "ECW" right after TNA's ppv Sunday night, so he is no longer a free agent.

What DVDs would you like to see the WWE release?
Celtic Jobber replied to iggymcfly's topic in The WWE Folder
Since WWE made a Road Warriors DVD, I'm actually surprised they haven't considered a Demoliton one. Especially since Vince usually favors his creations over the competition. A best of Demolition 2-disc set would be awesome, as would a set for the Rockers, British Bulldogs, Hart Foundation. And even though most people here wouldn't want to see it, I'd like a best of Nash and Hall as Diesel and Razor Ramon in the WWF dvd 3-disc set as well. -
Saying Davey Boy sucked is really going waaaay over the line. He had several classic matches after he bulked up.

They could always go the Star Wars route where Benoit's Obi Wan and Harry is his apprentice (like Anakin) who eventually turns to the "dark side".
