The only thing I've ever seen him in was "Dumb and Dumber", where he played the scumbag who had Lauren Holly's husband kidnapped.

Not that it matters, but I always thought Melina was African American... I really don't see how Mickey ripped her off. If anything, Melina ripped off Paris Hilton's look...

When I was ten, I met Crush (Bryan Adams) before a WWF house show back in 1992. I asked for his autograph and he said "sorry I don't sign autographs". Right after that, a hot looking girl came up to him, asked for an autograph, and he gladly signed for her. On the bright side, I also met Davey Boy Smith at the same show, and he posed for pictures with my whole family and gladly signed autographs for everyone.

If the Canadian fans knew Hogan's true (negative) feelings about Bret Hart do you think they would still love Hogan so much?

Diamond Dallas Page was decent on the mic, capable of having great matches, and had 2 almost legendary feuds (with Randy Savage and Raven). He was also one of the most popular wrestlers in WCW (or WWF) around 1997-98. Yet, people online act like he is the anti-Christ of pro wrestling.

I'm pretty sure Nash is done with TNA.

Can someone give those of us who missed it a basic recap of this interview? Thanks

Maybe WWE didn't make Hardy sign a new WWE contract yet... Because maybe they realize TNA is not a threat to their business, and Hardy appearing in TNA and possibly bad-mouthing WWE on the PPV, will make the whole situation on Raw tonight seem more like a shoot.

Trish is the most over and talented woman in the company. And she's hotter than almost all of the sluts in the Raw Diva search. Trish won't be getting cut... Victoria's talented but she's not over and she's not a hot blonde, I wouldn't be suprised if she is released.

Scotty 2 Hotty is worthless and should've been released instead of Kidman or Akio.

Ultimate Warrior and Davey Boy Smith. -
I liked the Winged-Eagle belt better also. I grew up watching WWF only, and I never really liked WCW at all.

I think a 'snowball' is like a snowcone, but in a styrofoam cup instead of a paper cone. But when spelled "Sno-ball" it certainly makes me think of those creme-filled chocolate snack cakes covered with coconut.

From what I've heard, WWE only wants announcers that have a certain look. And they aren't really concerned about their actual talent and knowledge of the wrestling business. Which is why lately they've hired people like Romero and Grisham, and before them Jonathan Coachman. So I'm pretty sure this leaves out Mike Tenay and Scott Hudson. WWE at one time wanted Joey Styles but he already has a cushy job outside the wrestling biz. I think WWE should go for Joel Gertner and/or Cyrus as new announcers.

It seems like they've been pushing the idea of Christian jumping to Smackdown a bit too much for it to actually happen. My predictions: To Smackdown: Kane, Chris Jericho, Tomko, Rob Conway, Chris Masters To Raw: Kurt Angle, Carlito, Doug Basham, John Heidenreich, Rob Van Dam

Is Smackdown better than Raw right now?
Celtic Jobber replied to Open the Muggy Gate's topic in The WWE Folder
I really, really hate John Cena and Bradshaw, and Smackdown is pretty much built around those two. So Raw wins by default. -

Cornette Given Leave of Absence by WWE
Celtic Jobber replied to Zack Malibu's topic in The WWE Folder
WWE suspended Cornette because of Bubba Ray Dudley's bitching... Taken from this week's Figure 4 Weekly (courtesy of Death Valley Driver forum): Then came The Big One. It involved a dark match between the Dudleys and the Tolands (the current OVW Southern Tag Team Champions), managed by Jillian Hall, who Cornette had written weeks of storylines around despite the fact that she will also likely be called up soon (she’s the one that got breast implants and a total make-over to appear more beautiful for WWE, and their idea is to give her a huge unsightly mole a la Austin Powers). The Dudleys agreed to do the job, so Cornette told Bubba Ray they could come up with something afterwards to send the folks home happy. Bubba, who learned much of whatever it is that he knows working in ECW, decided that they would superbomb Jillian off the top rope straight to hell through a table afterwards. Even though this happened off TV, Cornette’s deal is that the people whose intelligence you do not insult are the hardcore paying fans who come to TV every week (well, TV is free, but you get the point). Therefore, he figured there was no way they could use Jillian a week after this happened and he felt forced to scrap all those plans as well. He was, as you can imagine, outraged. He left the tapings without saying anything to anyone, and at some point later on ended up cutting a profanity-laced promo on Bubba, asking him why he would superbomb a 125-pound woman through a table when there were plans to use her the next several weeks on TV. Bubba did not understand why this was such a big deal and was greatly embarrassed to be chewed out in front of a bunch of rookies. It should be noted that there are people who have blamed both Bubba and Cornette for being unprofessional in the situation. Bubba ended up complaining about the deal to John Lauranitis, saying he wasn’t going to go back to OVW if Cornette was there, and the decision was made to give Cornette a “five-week leave of absence”. You read that right, there was a situation with Bubba Ray Dudley and Jim Cornette in Ohio Valley Wrestling and the decision was made to remove Cornette. -
I'm probably in the minority but I think Steve is actually one of the best "new" announcers in recent WWE history. He's atleast better than Coachman and the RAW B-level announcer with glasses (sorry can't remember his name).

I found this on the Death Valley Driver board, from this week's Observer news letter: TNA's deal with FSN is going to be up in a few weeks. The network wants them to renew for at least 6 months but they only wanted a "month by month" deal. WGN has made them a good offer and they could start by next month or July with them. A decision will have to be made quick because they claim Spike TV is still interested and they have another meeting set up. However, if a deal was made they obviously couldn't begin until Oct. after WWE left. Meltzer said if they got Spike TV, the best and only choice would be to shut down until they could go on in the fall with a huge media blitz the weeks before. There was also a small blurb that Antonio Inoki has offered to buy the company because he would love controlling rights of the NWA Titles. Monty Brown was not used at the last TNA tapings because they are pressuring him to sign a new contract before July but he is holding off if WWE decides to make him an offer. Now after pressure from the Carter Family, Jarrett says he will drop the title but he doesn't want to do it for AJ. He was thinking to Monty after a face turn but obviously those plans are up in the air until Monty has a decision.

My picks for the rest of the year: Lex Luger Jim Neidhart Missy Hyatt Axl Rotten Billy Gunn/The Outlaw

What should they really do with him? I think they should trade HHH to Smackdown where he would have plenty of fresh matches/feuds. But who would they trade him for? JBL?

WWE is going down the tubes quicker than I would've thought. They'll probably fold within 3 or 4 years if things don't start improving.
