Here's the FoxNews segment about it:

"Snork" is the word Wrestlecrap's forum (where I found the article) substitutes for "fuck". I fixed it.

WWE General Discussion - February 2009

Windham Rotunda looks alot like Hurley from Lost. -
I don't know, I'd say its more like 60%. I hate sports and none of my friends who watch wrestling like "real" sports. And everyone I know who watches mma, baseball, or football, thinks wrestling is "gay, fake shit".

I hate all of the stupid reality shows on VH1 and MTV, both of those channels have been horrible ever since they started showing nothing but reality shows 24/7.

WWE General Discussion - January 2009

In the February 2009 issue of Blender magazine, Fall Out Boy's Pete Wentz compared himself to the Undertaker. But it seems like Wentz stopped watching WWE around 1991. He said: "Being famous is like being in the WWF. When we first came out, I was Hulk Hogan. Kids loved me. Now I'm more like the Undertaker. The thing people don't understand is, the boos are the same as the cheers to me. I just love to wrestle." -
I noticed that if you set Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin as a tag team, they're announced as "The Self-Proclaimed World's Greatest Tag Team".

EGM was great in the mid-late 1990s, but it became a shell of it's former self. I loved it when they did top 100 lists. And I guess I'm in the minority, but I found Seanbaby to be really annoying after his first couple of issues. But I still read it every now and then, and I felt the reviews were probably alot less biased than Game Informer (which is owned by GameStop and always has pics of its editors partying with MS or Activision employees). And it bums me out that print media is dying out, I much prefer reading long articles in a magazine to reading them online.

I have Rock Band 1 and use the instruments to play Guitar Hero World Tour & they all work fine. The old Guitar Hero 3 Les Paul guitar works with Rock Band too.

WWE General Discussion - December 2008

I don't know, I never heard anything about an incident between Striker and Benoit. The only hazing incidents I've heard about involving Benoit were the way he, JBL, and Taker supposedly harrassed the Dicks ("Tank" Toland and Chad Wicks) to the point that they fought each other and got fired. And of course the time he made Davari do Hindu squats until he was pissing blood for several days. -
I'm pretty sure Acclaim (well, whoever bought them out) owns the rights to the NBA Jam franchise after Tournament Edition. That's why Midway re-named their NBA games to what eventually became NBA Ballers. I'm betting the MK series ends up being bought out by either EA or Activision.
-
I like it, but I also liked MK DA and Deception (and I thought Armageddon was very mediocre). The only problem I have with it is the toned down gore and the absence of unlockable hidden content like alternate costumes, which was a strong point of the previous gen's MK games.

Paul London and Chuck Palumbo Released.
Celtic Jobber replied to Hunter's Torn Quad's topic in The WWE Folder
WWE magazine had just started a new segment highlighting Palumbo's bike-building, where they were supposed to feature a different superstar's bike he designed every month (such as Rey and Chavo's). -
I'm disappointed Obama won, but with American Idol as the #1 show in the country, its not a shock that so many people would fall for his empty promises of change without looking into his record as senator, or the fact that David Axelrod came up with Obama's whole gimmick (and thats just what it is). I'm not going to rant, but aside from his "Hussein" rhetoric, this guy pretty much sums up alot of my feelings about the outcome of this election (turn down your volume): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wa2Zl4Utndg

I saw that too, I was prepared to hate the movie (I'm a Kevin Smith fan, but I hate all the other films I've seen Rogen in except Superbad) but it looks like it might be pretty funny. One thing that struck me about the Leno interview was how much weight Kevin Smith has gained. I mean he was always a big guy, but it looks like he's gained atleast 100 lbs since Clerks 2. That can't be very healthy...

WWE General Discussion - September 2008
Celtic Jobber replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
None of those guys were around for TAKA's reign. And Vince was never really behind the Light Heavyweight Division anyways. I'm amazed that the belt was around until 2001. And that they kept the Cruiserweight Championship until last year. Actually, I'm pretty sure all of those guys came in for atleast 1 or 2 matches (more in the case of Sasuke) when they were re-establishing the Light Heavyweight title in early-mid 1997. -
I liked the documentary, but I was diappointed in how they skipped over Hennig's comeback as a babyface in 1992 teaming with Savage at the Survivor Series. And they also pretty much skipped over everything else from when he managed Flair in 1992 until 1996 when he managed Triple H.

Yeah, that could be it. She should just start wearing the skirts again.

Yes. Wrestlers have always been truthful about their habits. No, but for Christ's sake, there are some things that I wouldn't bother disputing. Like, for instance, a performer who has been able to back up a claim that nobody has even bothered to refute for over a decade. I really don't care, but why does it bother you so much that someone would suggest its just a gimmick? At the end of the day does it really matter? Does it make him any less of a worker? You care enough to ask. And this is a discussion forum, so instead of being bothered, perhaps I'm interested in the discussion in and of itself. It does matter, because he is accentuating a personal strength, which tends to lead the performer in a successful direction. I just find it fascinating that people still take wrestlers at their word so strongly. I mean, I have no reason to believe CM Punk isn't drug free, but at the same time I don't know the man so I can't say its not just a gimmick. And if he really lives that lifestyle, thats a very good thing, but it wouldn't change my opinion of his work one way or the other.

No. The guy is straight edge. What kind of test would he fail? They're selling Orton's Concussion Kick of Death. The thought crossed my mind after reading about the PPV, but after tonight I don't really think so. But it wouldn't surprise me because I think the straight edge thing is just a gimmick.
