Where the hell have you (and the others who said this kind of stupid bullshit) been for the past several years? Bret has been over the Montreal thing for a very long time. WWE on the other hand, are the ones who have a hard time letting it go, as the seemingly bring it up everytime they go to Canada. If Bret holds a grudge against WWE for anything, it's the way his brother Owen died and how they went on with the PPV afterwards. Have you forgotten that Bret worked with WWE on his dvd set (and refused to make Montreal the centerpiece of conversation when WWE wanted to), went to the Hall of Fame ceremony, appeared on Raw the night of the Vince is dead angle, and pretty much defended WWE on all the news shows when the Benoit murders happened?

Did anyone else catch Glenn Beck's show tonight? He bashed wrestling really bad, saying something like "it's a bunch of jacked up thugs throwing themselves to the canvas" and encouraged parents to play with their kids this weekend instead of watching WWE"s ppv.

Lance Storm was on Nancy Grace tonight she pretty much blew him off because he said roid rage couldn't be the only explanation for the Benoit murders. And in his "Beat the Press" segment tonight Dan Abrams took a swipe at Billy Graham for the way he tells everyone (Abrams, Nancy, and O'Reilly) that they're a great host and it's an honor to be on their shows. And, as Mecca mentioned, Chavo Guerrero was on Greta Van Sustern; he towed the company line about how drinking and drugs were only a problem for the older generation from the 70's and 80's, and the wrestlers in WWE now just focus on working out and keeping in shape. Lex Luger & Lanny Poffo were on Hannity & Colmes, I recorded this but haven't watched it yet. I'll probably have these on YouTube by sometime tomorrow, as they're performing maintenance on YouTube tonight.

Well, even though he pretty much sucks in the ring, the Sandman is more charismatic and the crowds pop for him more than they do for Lashley or even half of the rest of the roster.

I was looking at Brian Hildebrand's memorial website, and came across a tribute written by Chris Benoit after Brian died, apparently they were really close friends. There are also some good photos of Chris, Nancy, Brian, and some of their friends on this page: http://www.brianhildebrand.com/Photos1/Photos3/photos3.html, the photos are kind of sad and a little disturbing, in retrospect... Until seeing those pics, I never realized how close of friends they were. "On the Subject of Brian Hildebrand..." By Chris Benoit "...On the subject of Brian Hildebrand, I want to thank all the fans that sent cards, and flowers and called the house. While I was at his house, his wife Pam got calls from various wrestlers and fans and even those who prayed or took a moment of silence to think about Brian. He was the most inspirational person I ever met in my life. We all have trials and tribulations day to day, but when you compare the fight that he put up for two years... every mountain I've ever climbed pales in comparison. I talked to his nurse, and his nurse had said that out of all the patients she's ever had, Brian was the only patient that never complained. He never once complained about his fight, about his sickness, about his pain. Which says a lot about the content of his character and what kind of person he was. Alot of people stood up at his funeral service, and spoke of Brian and anyone that knows Brian or got to know Brian realized how sincere all the words that were said about him really were. Talk about true people in the world, he was definitely a true person as well as a true friend. Brian Hildebrand I wish I could have met Brian a lot sooner then I did. People like that are great to be around. I like surrounding myself with those kind of people and he was a big influence in my life. He led by example, and the example he set was how he lived day to day. He was very straight forward, and you could always get an honest opinion from him. I'm going to miss him, I'm really going to miss him and I'm never going to forget him and what kind of impact he had on my life. He was a great guy."
