    English Football

Is it cool if I talk MLS here? I caught the New York/Seattle game last night, was my first experience with MLS and soccer on a whole(besides the world cup and bits and pieces of last years UEFA) Like the energy, the game was fun to watch. My question is: how does MLS stack up, globally, to other leagues? I'd imagine it's a bit like the minor leagues compared to the european leagues and the like.

    NCAA Tournament

of course the head shop's connection is too shitty for MMOD... I never understand how I can watch espn360, but youtube, MMOD, etc. never work... on topic: Is Memphis really shitting the blanket? Cause that would royaly screw with my bracket

    The NFL OT Rule

I say just have an OT Quarter....10 minutes, team with most points after 10 minutes wins, otherwise, tie. the problem with that though, is of course, the ties.

    The 2009 NFL Offseason

The Shanahan firing has to be, at thiks time, the worst off-season move this year. Why he was fired but Dick Jauron kept his job is beyond me. Haven't teams learned not to hire from the belichick tree yet? Unless its belichick himeself, these coaches never seem to pan out

    College emotion vs professional devotion

I think sometimes it has to do with location also. There aren't any NBA teams near me that I would want to cheer for....you've got the Wizards and the 76ers, and there is no way I can cheer for a DC or Philly team. On the flipside, I can goto a Maryland or Towson game easily, and cheaper, so i tend to stick to the college game more. The NBA playoff system needs retooling, IMO. They need to cut down on how many teams actually make the playoffs.

    The 2009 NFL Offseason

I kinda don't want Cutler traded, because I love his rivalry with Rivers, but jesus, this is a trainwreck you never want from a first year HC. The broncos have to be kicking themselves for letting Shanahan go....

Sports Page in the Business Section

I think Baltimore would be a great place for an NBA franchise. Most people I know love basketball but hate the Wizards, and if our indoor soccer team can be successful, we can surely support an NBA team.

    MLB 09 The Show & MLB 2k9

the graphics are decent, but the gameplay is fucked. Buggy, un-realistic, and just half assed innings turn into home run derbys, players will run from the outfield to home plate instead of passing the ball...its just bad bad bad

    MLB 09 The Show & MLB 2k9

Do you have the ps3 version as well? no, haven't gotten the ps3 yet. Besides MLB and Metal Gear Solid, no game on the ps3 urges me to buy it, but I need a baseball game to feed the addiction, so got the psp and MLB

    Keanu Reeves appreciation

add Stree Kings to good and Hardball would have to goto a purgatory section...it isn't bad, it isn't great, but if I've got nothing else to watch, yeah, i'll watch it and enjoy it

    Watchmen

Thought it was a solid film, by far the best Alan Moore adaptation ever, and surprised me at how good it was the works better in the context of the film I though Ackerman did as good as she could, but Matthew Goode was disappointing, especially knowing how strong an actor he is. I think the best compliment I can give this film is that Zach Snyder truly, truly cared about the source material, and it showed. It's not perfect, but s good solid movie. 8/10 oh, and there really wasn't that much slow motion...and the opening title sequence was fantastic

    Mundane Sports Achievements

most of mine are football related -when i was about 12, 13 I was playing a pickup game of tackle football with other kids. I was pretty small then, and this other kid gave me some shit "You better not suck, you little pussy" or something like that. Anyways, First snap of the game, the other team pitches the ball to their HB, and I lay the guy out. He was twice my size and I fucked his world. Everyone did the whole "yeah, alright, you kcik ass" etc. etc. And I felt pretty good. I didn't do shit the rest of the gane, though. -in high school i was 3rd string CB, didn't get too much playing time, usually when we were getting killed or for a play or two to rest the others. On one of those plays, the QB threw it up, I jumped up, and got it. My first and only interception ever. The best part is we went on to win that game. -don't know if its sports related, but I did fucking ace in basic rifle marksmanship and got a medal for it.

dumb fucking move by the Broncos...cause Jay was their weak point last season

    The 2009 NFL Offseason

The Bears are one of the teams that should be trying to get TJ. A nice, sure handed and tall WR would help out a ton, especially if they draft a WR. A TJ/Hester/Maclin trio would open up Forte even moreso Doubt that'll happen though.

    I'm enlisting in the Army.

depending on were you are stationed and what you are doing, take classes while in If you're stationed at someplace like Ft. Meade, Ft. Huachuca(totally misspelled but its in AZ) etc. theres some really good community colleges nearby and there is always AMU, take classes online. OCS is hardcore btw. My buddy went through it, and he told me it was about 20x worse than Basic, which makes sense though, considering Officers have to be great leaders. I would still suggest not being an MP if you can...promotions don't come as fast, you'll be stuck on guard duty most of the time, etc. Every MP I know hates it, they stand at the Fort's gates holding an M16 all day, then go home and drink, then back up the next day, rinse, repeat. If you want something fun, that will def lend towards a law enforcement future, try psy ops.

    The 2009 NFL Offseason

jeus, Rex Ryan is turning the Jets into the New Jersey Ravens. They've got Bart Scott, Corey Ivy is expected to sign within the next 24 hours, and Jim Leonhard is visiting on saturday. They keep signing players I like, I might have to become a Jets fan

Ray Lewis isn't going anywhere...he's just jockeying for more money, and Brown will probably get a sweet deal too. But Scott and Stover? yeah, they're gone

The Agent of Oblivion question of the day

winner i have an average irish cock, 6 inches, decent thickness, wild mane. Uncircumsized, and a rather large blue vein on it. Somehow my first g/f nicknamed it Katie. I don't know why.
