    WRESTLEMANIA

I could list all the "little" moments individually, but I'm just going to say from the opening montage on WrestleMania 1 until Hogan's victory celebration at WrestleMania 7, those are my favorite WrestleMania moments. Nothing that's happened since really compares to those, but that's just how I feel.

    WRESTLEMANIA

WrestleMania 2: When Adrian Adonis was being chased around the ring by Uncle Elmer as Elmer's music played on in the background. It reminds me of something out of a John Water's film. Where are the chickens?!

    ECW on Sci-Fi HD -- January 22, 2008

Why is everyone freaking out because Punk lost? Obviously he's going to get the title back. What a celebration it will be when he does!

    Best Royal Rumble Match

91 was the Rumble when Valentine had his face turn. He came out and I think he was arguing with Jimmy Hart, he might have punched him or pushed him down. Suddenly, he was a good guy. I remember watching it and thinking it came out of left field. He and Martel lasted over 40 minutes. One of my favorites.

    Best Royal Rumble Match

It blew my mind to find out there was a secret Royal Rumble. When I found out about it I was like "How come nobody told me? Where have they been hiding it?" Then to find out that Hacksaw won the first Royal Rumble totally changed everything I thought I'd known about wrestling. For years I've thought Big John Studd won the first Rumble. Imagine how different things would be if Hacksaw had wrestled The Giant or Hulk Hogan at WM4, instead of there being a tournament.

    Worst Royal Rumble match

For the era, I thought 93 and 94 Rumbles were good. 94 had the Hart's splitting up, the UT resurrection, etc. They're good period pieces.

    Slash

I liked it, too. It gave me a better understanding of why the band broke up. You can't really blame any of them individually. They all added something negative to the situation.

I thought Punk should have kicked out once, but I guess his rib was bruised or broken.

    Chinese Democracy

Sometimes there's a band, and I'm talking about GnR here, sometimes there's a band for their time and place. Sometimes...Ah hell, I done lost my train of thought here.

    ECW on Sci-Fi HD -- January 22, 2008

They need to do something with Benjamin soon. Any of these scenarios would work well. What do you mean, "do something"? They have been pushing him towards a title chase by squashing people left and right as well as broadcasting his intention to win the world title. It's one of the rare occurancies that Benjamin had a direction in his career. I just meant they needed to do something other than a squash match, that's all.

    ECW on Sci-Fi HD -- January 22, 2008

Tonight, C.M. Punk is going to drop the title to Chavo with Edge costing Punk the belt. Later on down the road, Punk will get the ECW title back and probably cost Edge the World title. I like ECW for its simplicity; there's not a lot of glitz, and the core of the show is built on wrestling. That's not to say there isn't room for improvement on the show, my main wish is that they ditch the strippers and replace that segment with more wrestling. The Miz/Morrison team really baffles me. Here are two guys that were sworn enemies before the Survivor Series and before they won the titles. Now they've become a fluid tag team wrestling machine and seemingly are best of friends. There's never any reference to their past. I'd love to see them drop the titles and go their separate ways, but who would they drop them to? Perhaps Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke? Mark Henry and Big Daddy V? I've enjoyed Shelton Benjamin's domination against lesser opponents. But, I think it's time for him to beat some real competition and prove that he is the gold standard. ECW has my attention and I'm waiting to see where they go from here.

You have to remember that the leaks are just that. They're not finished product. The songs from "Angel Down" give me hope that the finished "Chinese Democracy" will be the BEST ALBUM EVER! You think they'd waste this much time and money if they weren't going to release it?

    The Old School questions thread

Speaking of Terry Taylor, he was the "Taylor Made Man" before he became "Terrific" Terry, correct? Or, was that after his brief WWF stint? I have a vision of him showing off in an over-sized "Million Dollar Man" like suit .
  24. Say what you will about Micheal Jackson, but that halftime show was amazing. I seem to recall Whitney Houston singing the national anthem that year, as well. With Tom Petty and Paula Abdul performing at this year's festivities, what are the chances of another "wardrobe malfunction"?

It would be best for his career if the album was released post-humously.
