Yeah, this seems to be it. I haven't been able to find much else about it though. Thanks

I'm going for a job where one of the requirements is knowledge of a program called Mavis. Now I've never heard of this program before, and I'd like to find some information on it before I go any further with this job. So basically, what I wanna know is if anyone knows anything about Mavis, and to those who have experience with it, how easy/hard is it to pick up?

This news makes me . Seriously, Christy had REALLY started to grow on me over the last couple of months, and since the diva battle royal on Raw is Eddie I've actually been looking forward to seeing what she can do in the ring. I'll miss dancing to her theme song.

Why The Carnage Crew just fucking 0wn
Papacita replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
I've always liked the Carnage Crew as well. They've always seemed like good enough workers to me, plus that top rope piledriver they do is just raw. -
Well that was simple and to the point (the Joe attack).

I like these Rhyno introspectives but this one isn't coming across well. Sounds too much like he's reading it.

His reaction to the crowd's response to it made me laugh. They really need to push him. Or even better, give that man the book and allow him to go over everybody multiple times over. Alex Shelley is my hero.
-
Fuck that. Shelly was great in that match.

I was always under the impression that they didn't necessarily have to stop using the World Wrestling Federation name, just the scratch logo and possibly the initials [Edit:] while in Europe. Anyway, I agree that name change wasn't that big a deal, since people fans were already leaving before the change (it certainly didn't help matters, though). I've gotta say that, as minor as it is, I really miss hearing "your winner, and NEW WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION CHAMPION..." after a title change.

Wrestlecrap's Gooker Award Nominees Announced!
Papacita replied to CBright7831's topic in The WWE Folder
This was an odd, odd year for wrestling. -
"...wait a minute! Did I just hear myself say...THREE MINUTES?!" I loved that gimmick. Their run-in at the Billy and Chuck Wedding had me marking hard.

Meltzer's take on WWE wrestlers' reactions to Guerrero angle

Chris Benoit wouldn't write. Chris Benoit would just bust up in the office and start chopping mothafuckas. That's how Chris Benoit handles shit, damn it. -
Pot. Kettle. Blackest Black. Flair & Michaels are the very DEFINITION of routine wrestlers. This is true. Flair's spots are very easy to call (Flair Flop, begging and eye poke, thrown off the top rope, ect al). And Michaels pretty much has the same routine with his kip-up, overselling of hitting the turnbuckle, and several other types of bumps. Bret had his routine but he was far more versatile than HBK and Flair. It's definitely hypocritical for him to knock Bret for being routine while praising Flair, but as far as Shawn himself goes, I dunno. If you're talking post-comeback, I'd definitely agree with you, but prior to the injury I'm not so sure. He had his routine spots and what not (and really, just about everybody does as far as WWF goes), but I thought he was fairly good at mixing things up. Generally, you didn't get the same style match between Shawn and Marty as you'd have with Shawn and Owen. Same with people like Austin and Foley, and even matches with big guys like Sid, Nash and Taker varied a great deal IMO. With Bret on the other hand--and I don't mean this as a knock at all--I found that with a lot of his matches you more or less knew what he was gonna do before he did it--for instance, you knew in advance that Bret vs a big man was gonna see a lot of leg work, or that spot where he'd knock his opponent into the ropes and dive at them with a cross body, only to end up crotching himself along the ropes, or that missile dropkick-to-sharpshooter counter that, as cool as it was, you could see coming just about everytime. And I'm a Shawn mark, so admittedly there could be some bias here, but I don't agree that Bret was significantly more versatile than Shawn.

That sounds really funny for some reason. I'm just picturing Ric struting through a cornfield or something when the nWo randomly attacks him. There was one angle circa 97 where the nWo videotaped themselves running the Steiners off the road. Not 100% sure how it played out since I was more into WWF at the time but I remember there was at least some talk of actually pressing charges for this one.

Anybody remember that one Raw back in 2000 where DX kept kidnapping everybody and putting them in that damn bus of theirs?
-
I've got that Raw on tape somewhere. That promo was so heavily edited (and OBVIOUS edits too) it's not even funny.

Wow, I don't think I'd ever read this before. That was great. Aww shucks... *adds Parka to his "Do not kill" list*

Give me an award. I wrote two and a half matches this year--only two of which were half-assed! I deserve something. I need love .

I'd mark.

Random thought...it'd have been cool as hell if Eddie popped outta the lowrider right there and beat down Orton.
-
Yeah, I they've always had weird counter animations. I know I've had that happen in at least the last 2 Smackdown games...possibly even further back than that. I like that they do the double countout thing when both stamina meters go down. That's pretty cool.

Wrestler of the Year: Michaels Feud of the Year: Guerrero vs Rey right up until the Dominick stuff. Match of the Year: No clue. Michaels/Angle was the one match that really stood out this year, and to be honest I really wasn't feeling it. Best Tag Team: MNM Most Underrated: Edge Most Overrated: I can see why people'd say Michaels Best Promos: Eddie Best PPV: Does ONS count? That's the only show from this year that I REALLY enjoyed. and stolen from the WON... Most disgusting promotional tactic: The terrorist angle

How do you get out of the sleeper? I've tried everything from tapping X once it it gets in the "escape" area to repeatedly tapping it from the start, and it never does anything.
