Didn't he actually throw up on D'lo (or in his bags or something) a week or so before he got paralyzed?
-
He beat Lawler, actually. And even if he hadn't, it's not like they're putting the belt on him tomorrow, so they've got plenty of time to build him up. I've liked Hassan so far. Outside of the fact that his promo delivery kinda bugs me, he's been a good heel so far. He's been kept fairly strong with this whole undefeated streak, and it's refreshing to see someone that's not in Evolution get that type of treatment. And personally, I'm dying to see a feud between him and Shelton, if only to see how they play up the racism angle.

I'm saddened that no one suggestede Dusty. THEY BE CLUBBERIN', DADDY! THEY BE CLUBBERIN'!!!!!!!

Wow, this thread has been funny. I have no clue if this is what dude was trying to get at, but it would've been nice to see Mr. Perfect vs HBK for the title at Survivor Series 96, not just on the fantasy level, but also due to the fact that they'd been subtley building towards something between those two since Perfect came back to WWF in 95.

I remember Road Dogg getting into some trouble for saying "pussy" on Raw back in 99 or 2000. Also, not a wrestler one, but on the Raw from 97 where ECW invaded, Sunny and Marlena had an arm wrestling match. All throughout the thing, you can hear this woman in the crowd screaming "C'MON MARLENA!! C'MON MARLENA! C'MON MARLENA"!!! Then at the end, Sunny throws powder in her eyes, and the lady just goes off. She was like, "BITCH!!!! YOU FUCKING BITCH!!!!! YOU FUCKING BITCH"!!! It's funny as hell. When Sunny's leaving ringside, you can hear her start up again. "I HATE YOU BITCH!!!!! I HATE YOU BITCH"!!

Goldberg KO'ing himself had me in tears. What IYH was that Sid interview from? I wanna say "It's Time" but Dibiase's in the picture and I know he was gone by then.

Graphics are coming. I've got a few done now that I've just gotta upload.

No problem. Thanks for the feedback. I was a little worried about how it'd come out, since this was the most frames I've ever used on an animation and I wasn't sure if people'd have trouble loading it.

I'm planning on doing them, but I dunno how many I'll be able to make as I won't have a whole lot of free time on my hands over the next couple of weeks. PM me whatever you want me to include and I'll see what I can do. Edit: Here's a copy of the logo I made for the show. Thoughts?

We should use Tammy Sytch as a ref. Just to give people another reason to chant "You Screwed Bret."

Nothing from me, but I may post an exclusive from Bryte if I get the chance.

No, if they're gay, they need to spray violet or pink mist. They could call it the Gay Spray. JR: OMG, Hurricane just got Gay Sprayed. King: I bet he's going to be spending all night in the shower. Wouldn't white mist actually be more appropriate in this case? I know...I know.

I actually got the chance to meet Ossie back in the 5th grade when he came to speak at my school. It goes without saying that he was a great actor, but from the brief interaction I had with him, he came across as a genuinely good man, and very knowledgeable too. I actually still use some of the points he discussed that day in conversations/debates/etc. Sucks to hear he's dead.

If anybody's interested, hit me up. Tentatively: Tina vs Taylor in a Philly Street Fight.
-
Why would Jericho be there? He's from New York, silly. I had a women's match between Tina and someone from HI-YAH that I was gonna send in for tonight's show, but I'll probably send that in next week. Plus something from Panther.

The Monday Night RAW Thread (January 17th 2005)
Papacita replied to BifEverchad's topic in The WWE Folder
Lawler during Kane/Snitsky: "This crowd is in awe. They don't know what to think." *camera shot of the fans doing the wave* That cracked me up. Pretty good show overall. -
You could put Brock Ausstin in if you need someone.
-
Possibly something from me if I've got the time/energy.

He injured his neck back in the day, but as far as I know that's not what's keeping him from wrestling. When he retired, he said it was just because he lost the passion or something along that line.
-
It's his birth name.

http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?showtopic=65114 On the graphics, the PPV logo and the one for Axel/Rags was working when I checked them a second ago, just incase you want to edit those in, SJ. And sorry about the World Title graphic. I made it last week before I left town and when Sly got taken out, I wasn't able to change it. I'll be back with actual feedback later...maybe.

Panther vs Bryte! To settle the feud ONCE AND FOR ALL~! ONCE AND FOR ALL~! REALLY! I WOULDN'T LIE TO YOU!

I've got something TBA on HD.

News about Panther's return, plus Chris Bryte's da the house.

I was actually debating with myself about the face mask thing, but in the end, I figured that it could pass since in terms of the match, Bryte had no business removing the mask in the first place, and also because in the end it really didn't end up doing that much damage. As for the STF spot...I dunno. I've never really been the best person in terms of understanding psychology, but that spot was more or less Leon's way of offsetting Bryte's aggression in the opening stages. It wasn't really meant to tease a submission (which is why I had him escape so quickly), but it was supposed to put Bryte in enough jeopardy that he'd be forced to back off and reset himself. Hope that makes some sense. As for feedback, I don't have much criticism; the show was, as usual, great all around. I was feeling the build toward the World Title match at Climax, as well as the Black T/Docs build (I've always liked the classy Horsemen-like feel Black T's promos have), Ragdoll's beatdown on Axel was pretty nice, and I liked the Hoff interview, although I agree with NYU that it was a little out of place. It's nice to get a little more background on the Hoff/Steven rivalry, but I didn't really like how Hoff started getting into behind the scenes stuff, like Stevens being told to job the belt to Hoff and the fact that they were both fired for doing an unscripted match. It's interesting stuff and a very good read, but it doesn't fit within the context of a wrestling show because it draws attention to the fact that wrestling's fake. I don't wanna come off too harsh, because this was an excellent segment, but I think there are ways of conveying their dislike for one another without getting into scripting. As for my stuff, any comments on my commentary (with Cole, Caboose and Taylor) in Bryte/Rodez? I've been trying to improve it lately so that it doesn't sound too generic and cliche, and I'm interested seeing how that came off.
