    Smackdown!: Shut Your Mouth

I did it with Jericho my first try. Haven't played since. In JBI, I always had the most success with the Rock in that mode. As soon as your opponent gets into the ring, just boot him and give him the people's DDT and repeat, and once your special is built up, hit the Rock Bottom. Works everytime.

    Weird/interesting fights

When I was about 8 or 9, I got in a fight with a kid and ended up beating him with a hockey stick. According to my friends, I beat him so badly, he literally shit himself.

Give me your "I was there" list...

Not to nitpick, but I remember Public Enemy using flaming tables back in 95. I think they might have stacked two tables and lit the bottom one. I'm pretty sure that's how it went. I mean a full on fire table I think (not sure) they used a full one when Rocco Rock fought 2 Cold Scorpio in a TV Title Vs Tag Title match (the one that set up the Sandman/Scorpio Vs Public Enemy match for N2R 95). If I remember right, Rocco set the table up and tried to give Scorpio the Drive-By through it, but Scorp moved, Rocco went through the table and apparently caught on fire. Scorpio then put the fire out, helped Rocco to his feet, then clotheslined him to take the belts for he and Sandman. Eh...it really doesn't matter though. I think the Dudleys' table spots were more spectacular anyway.

    Stu Hart dies

Wow, that hit me harder than I'd expected. I never saw much from Stu other than his appearances with Helen for Bret's big matches, but still, it's sad to hear that he's gone. RIP Stu.
  5. I like Cena, and his rhymes are alright, but I dunno if he's ready for an album. I wish him luck though.

Give me your "I was there" list...

Not to nitpick, but I remember Public Enemy using flaming tables back in 95. Anyway, my list: Non-Wrestling: -The MOVE bombing and slaughter by Philadelphia Police that made headlines back in 85...barely remember it but it all happened right around the corner from my house. -The Sixers/Miami Heat game in April of 95...which was only notable because before the game, my middle school basketball team was involved in a tournament and we actually got to play on the Spectrum floor. -Blizzard/Ice Storm of 96. -Iverson's gun incident from the summer of 2002...again, happened right around the corner from me, and I happened to be around there when all of the news stations were interviewing his crazy ass family members. Wrestling: -Slamboree 94 -The single greatest wrestling PPV in history, KOTR 95!!!!!!!!!!! -Mind Games...HBK and Foley's MOTYC, and I met Heyman, Sandman and co. -The Raw in 97 where HHH and HBK teamed for the first time. -That Raw in 98 where Taker and Kane revealed their alliance. Kane faught Mankind in a Hell in a Cell match, the Nation humiliated Chyna and HBK came out for the save. -Unforgiven 2000...which, depending on who you ask, was the beginning of the WWF's downward spiral. -Jeff Hardy's I-C Title win over HHH. -The return of the Rock in 2001 and Booker T's 5th WCW Title win.

    Two questions about Austin

Great? It was great? It was fuckin moronic. The philosophy of " He tried to kill me so I want him as my best friend" is so ass-backwards it's ridiculous. The logic wasn't there, but I liked the team. It was refreshing to have a couple of renegade heels on the show, and I'll be damned if I didn't mark for the Hardyz and Lita getting destroyed. The angle was alright right up until Judgment Day when they started all the bullshit with Sara.

    One of those Personal Questionaires

THE BULLSHIT QUIZ *WHO IS?* What poster do you remind yourself of? Replace "poster" with "wrestler" and I'd say RVD, cuz Papi's one of a kind. What poster is your best friend poster? How come nobody hates me anymore? I remember the days when being a Chyna mark meant instant heat around here. What happened???

What WWE Pay Per Views have you Skipped?

I didn't order Judgment Day, Vengeance, Unforgiven and I don't think I'm gonna get No Mercy. I *shouldn't* have ordered Summerslam, considering I was out of town the day of event, but I did and taped it...waste of $30.

    Two questions about Austin

Well, I heard HHH was to get the face turn after the Power Trip ended (which happened to be the night of the quad tear) and was to feud with Austin through the summer of 2001. Yeah, Invasion wasn't supposed to happen because of this, but alas it did at the last minute. Thanks, Trips. I always thought it'd have been great if Austin attacked HHH's quad the night they announced his injury. They could run a little interview segment where HHH explains the extent of his injury, takes a couple of verbal shots at Austin...the two get in a confrontation, but Austin backs down, and while HHH is leaving the ring, Austin jumps him and Pillmanizes him. Would've put a lot of heat on Austin and made HHH's transition to Face a lot more believable...but maybe he was too injured, so it's somewhat understanable why they didn't go through with something like that.

SHHHHHHHHHHH! *clubs CWM with frozen lamb leg*
  18. *respectfully disagrees* I loved Speedy when I was little...his crackhead friends were funny too. And GOD I hated Captain Planet. I can't think of too many cartoon characters I hated out of the top of my head. Maybe Elmira (sp?) from Tiny Toons. I dunno.
  19. I found Pepe LePew more depressing than anything else. I always felt bad when the cat would run away from him...I wished he could've got with her at least once. Kinda like the Trix rabbit and those snotty kids in the cereal commercials. I always felt sorry for him. He should've filed a discrimination suit against kids. He'd own them in court.
  20. I work for Comcast you dolt. And Scrappy is a bitch... but not as much as that one Indian kid from the 13 Ghosts of Scooby Doo. I REALLY hate him. Flim Flam was his name I think... I'll give you that one, but you can't fuck with Scrappy. Scrappy=GOLD!
  21. Aww...how can they hate Scrappy?! He was one of my favorites when I was little. "LEMME AT EM! LEMME AT EM!" GOLD~! Also, I must show some love for Tweety. I had an old girlfriend that was a big Tweety fan, and I've had a soft spot for the character ever since I met her.

    Raw Rating Rises

Not really. Superstar Steve Austin was a cocky, arrogant asshole that thought he was greatest thing ever to happen to the promotion and thought he was better than everyone in it. Stone Cold was a cold-hearted loner that didn't give a damn about anyone but himself. Austin's swearing was the only real similarity between the two characters.

    Two questions about Austin

Kane no-sold an Austin beatdown and chokeslammed him a few months back. All I can remember. A lot of times. Aside from their one on one matches, the most famous being a 2/3 falls match at No Way Out 2001, HHH masterminded a plot to run over Austin, putting him out of action in late 99. A year later, Austin returned from injury and killed him by dropping him from a giant crane. HHH rose from the dead weeks later to attack him, and later cost Austin a World Title match against Kurt Angle that caused Jim Ross to "Damn his soul". Austin returned the favor by costing Hunter a World Title match at Royal Rumble 2001, leading to their 2/3 falls match at No Way Out...then Austin turned after Wrestlemania X7 and he and HHH formed the 2 man Power Trip and went on to win the Tag Titles from Taker and Kane. HHH was supposed to turn face and beat Austin for the title, but he tore his quad and by the time he came back, Austin had turned face. I don't think they've had any major confrontations since. Edit:Misread the post...thought he said he'd started watching last year. My bad.

    Raw Rating Rises

I loved ECW to death, but they did not make Austin. You could make a case for Foley, but not Austin. He was already over in WCW (pre-Hogan anyway), and while he showed a lot of charisma in his ECW run, he was only there for about 3 months, not enough time to even suggest that ECW made him.
