I forgot to mention that Heenan slips brass knuckles to Andre which looks stupid without a ref being there. Heenan also puts Andres foot on the bottom rope while Andre is being pinned to break the count. -

IGN has a new video up of the role that the Manager plays in the game. Mr Fuji uses his cane to pull down the top rope, hit the wrestler, trip the wrestler and throws rice in the eyes. Jimmy Hart uses the Mega Phone, Heenan just attacks and Paul Bearer uses the Urn which also gives power to the Undertaker. The ref is missing and it looks odd to not have one in the ring. -
What if they made the floor 75% of whatever the cap figure is? Even at a $75 Million floor (which would not be implemented due to outcry), only 17 teams topped that total last season, with 2 other teams apart by only $2 Million. That would still leave at least 11 teams needing to raise at least $6 Million to meet the floor. From the way it looks last season, it seems that a $100 Million Cap and $60 Million floor would be around the ideal. Only 6 teams were under $60 Million and 2 of those teams (KC at 58 and Washington at 54) were close. Florida was the large outlier at $22 Million but the other teams (Pittsburgh, Oakland, Tampa Bay) all spent at least $43 Million. 25 Man Roster at 100 Million = Average $4 Million per player salary. Only 9 teams exceeded that figure last season. 25 Man Roster at 60 Million = Average $2.4 Million per player salary. Only 10 teams underperformed that level with San Diego, Texas, and Arizona all in the $2.3 range. MLBPA would never agree to a cap. Players are making less percentage of revenue then they were before. The luxury tax was anything above 155 million. Lets say they put in a salary cap of 125 million. Well in football they have a salary floor of 85 percent which goes up to 90 percent by 2012. How many teams in baseball have a fanbase that can support a 110 million dollar team?

NBA warns teams about shrinking cap By Adrian Wojnarowski and Johnny Ludden, Yahoo! Sports The NBA sent out an ominous memo to its teams on the eve of the league’s trade deadline to outline dramatic projected drops in salary-cap and luxury-tax levels for the next two summers, Yahoo! Sports has learned. Because of rapidly declining revenues, the league office delivered a sobering warning to teams trying to free cap space for the historic free-agent class of 2010: Owners and executives will likely have to strip more payroll than initially planned. At a time when most of the league’s teams are trying to shed salary, these stark projections did nothing to encourage the absorbing of top talent and pricey contracts in the final hours leading up to Thursday’s 3 p.m. ET trade deadline. “They’re scaring the crap out of the people,” one Western Conference executive said Wednesday night. “There were already not enough buyers in this market, and after seeing that [memo], there are even less now.” One West GM predicted the market could become even more flooded after the season. “You’re not going to believe the number of players that will be out there [on the trade market],” he said. “But I don’t know how many teams will be willing to take them on.”

From what I hear no. Amata pretty much treats you the same in start if you killed him or not. The game pretty much gives you a pass if you did kill him because he gets replaced by another overseer. You just cant kill the second one.

I currently do mycokerewards.com for the hell of it. My only problem though is that the prizes and the sweepstakes flat out suck. I was just looking at the main page and a coke folding beach chair is like 6000 points. You get 3 points for each coke cap you redeem for either a 20 oz or 2 liter bottle. That comes out to you buying over $2000 dollars worth of Coca Cola. Do they honestly think that someone is going to waste their points on flat out crap? I am just going to save mine for when they do sweepstakes for 360's or Best Buy giftcards.

Well they kept the roster limited and they couldn't put in just 1 or 2 female legends. I hope we can create female valets in the game. -

I am just curious as to what everybody thinks the future of TV and going to the Movies is going to be between the next 5 to 10 years. The age of having high speed internet and a HDTV has personally killed my live television watching and going to the movies every weekend. I am able to record tv shows with Windows Media Center and through various websites I am able to watch almost any tv show whenever I want to. I also have a monthly membership of Netflix which offers pretty much any DVD possible and thousands of hours of TV/Movies on their website for 10 dollars a month. Is the age of Cable TV going to be killed off within the next 5 years? What is going to happen to cable companies and the main 4 networks in the upcoming years? Are they going to have to put everything online and offer programming via their own website for each channel? It is at the point that every tv show that has been put out on dvd or has come out on tv is available online for anybody to watch whenever they want. The problem though is that it is on third party websites and Fox/NBC/HBO etc are missing out on the online viewing, advertising etc. A good majority of Americans are able to do it now and that number is only going to rise with Computers and HDTV's getting cheaper. What about Movies that are released in the Box Office? Every movie that is released is online within a day for someone to watch it without having to download it. Sometimes the quality is near dvd while other times the quality is bootleg but passable. Are movie companies going to have to start releasing movies on their website to gain lost viewers and advertising? Should it be in the form of ppv where the customer pays a 1 time fee and is able to watch the movie for the period of 3-5 hours? The drawbacks being that recording wouldn't be allowed. I believe that major Studies are going to have to open up their library and make it available online. This is due to the lost viewers that they are missing out on and the advertising money that the third party websites are bringing in. I remember reading that the production company who does the tv show The Mentalist had CBS take off full episodes of the show on CBS.com. This was due to the fact that they didn't want it hurting DVD sales down the road. I laughed because all one has to do is google The Mentalist and they will find 10-20 websites all with full episodes online. One last thing. What should the WWE do regarding their live ppv's? Should they offer the ppv online after it has ended for a small fee? I cant picture anybody paying full price for it online when it is available on numerous websites live for free. My thinking is if they have it online after the show for a 5-10 dollar fee it would attract more purchases and cut down on the thousands of people on justin tv and numerous other sites. The drawback being that it would cut back on the people who watch the event live for the full price. The main thing though is if the person is willing to buy a replay for a cheaper price they are subjecting themselves to spoilers and a later timeslot.

Roster 4 is up now on ign. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yd6VZrruXQo Greggie is the biggest douche ever. Undertaker doesn't have his coat. Paul Bearer has the urn and it is shown to give the Undertaker some kind of power special during the match. The Big Bossman doesn't have his Hard Time theme. Koko does come out with Frankie. Finkel hints at the Brainbusters in the WWE. Ric Flair has his robe. IGN did not show Snuka in any of the 4 roster videos. This leads to further speculation that there are hidden wrestlers in the game. -

I read somewhere if you watch the show off of Dvr/Tivo within 3 days it counts towards the ratings. -

I made a point in my thread that the WWE is going to have to do something to stop people from going to a justin tv and god knows what other sites are out there. I think WWE should charge 5-10 dollars to watch the event off of their website. They can add in ads in between the matches, on screen etc to offset the cost. -

Tru calling only got interesting after Jason Priestly showed up. But the first half of that season was dreadful. It's a shame because they cancelled it just as it was getting good and going into the reasons Tru had her powers and what it meant for the universe and all that. If it hard started out like that, it might have done a lot better. The rumor is that her bf on the show (the 30 year old who plays a teenager in every movie) was going to turn into a serial killer and become aware of how Tru saved him when he was meant for death. That was supposed to play for the rest of season 2 before the show got the ax. They were going to play into the whole morality of if it was the right thing to do for Tru to save people and the impact that these people would have on the world by being kept alive. My favorite episode is the one with the girl who has cancer and decides to jump off the tower.

How can you knock Tru Calling? I loved that show and the whole Eliza vrs Jason Priestly aspect on the show.

Vince refused Foley because of him leaving and going to TNA. Savage because of god knows what. Vince agreed to do the Savage DVD after the cutoff for the roster of this game. He was talked into it due to the amount of money the DVD is going to make.
