What was the point in Booker losing to Kanyon if he was going to win the world title later in the show?
-
I don't keep track of this stuff like you do.

A friend of mine saw RVD at a gay nightclub in Los Angeles a few years ago. I didn't believe him until he showed me a picture he took of RVD at the said location. I always took that to be a joke. I always took it as a legitimate verbal fuckup. HHH is sometimes a judge at that Mr. Olympia shit plus I remember reading a story that some jobber, I think this was in 95 / 96, said he was undressing in the locker room and Triple H kept watching him the whole time.

I would've saved MVP Vs. RKO for a later PPV. Oh well.

Yeah...

By all rights for continuity's sake, he SHOULD challenge Orton, but of course he's going to challenge Edge instead for some bullshit reason.

I was very pleased with Backlash this year. Aside from the Khali bullshit, I enjoyed every match on the card (When's the last time a 2nd rate PPV has been good from top to bottom? or heels winning both main events / title matches?) To me this show was one big apology from WWE for that shitty Wrestlemania so I'm definitely picking this up on DVD next month. Of course, I would've liked Steamboat to win and Batista to turn on Triple H (I loved how they were teasing it with Orton's interview), but you can't always get what you want. The only logical reasoning I could see for Punk's loss is that IF Punk wins the World Heavyweight Title from Edge next month, Kane can be a potential PPV main event opponent afterwards since the feud can start with Kane challenging Punk since he can say "I beat you before and I can beat you again for the title!" Redneck Triatholon No, ruining it would have had Cena beating Edge again. Cena rarely loses clean, you should know better. You answered your own question. It was a good match, but I prefer their TLC bout.

If anything, you should download just to get back at the greedy music companies and CEOs since artists / bands make more money off concerts than CD sales.

IIRC at One Night Stand last year, Orton went up to Batista backstage and suggested getting the band back together (teasing Evolution 2.0) Batista didn't say anything and walked off. Batista has been stale for years so I think a heel turn will freshen his character up a bit. Besides, Triple H still needs to get his win back from him.

Well, I'd hate to see Edge have another 30 day title run (kinda pointless if you ask me) so I figure Punk will beat Cena at Judgment Day, win back the very title he got screwed out of, and take it back to SD. Edit: Although if Orton wins the title, it would be so cool for Punk to cash it in against him the following month to get revenge.

Pretty solid card going in so I'll check it out. Predictions: Randy Orton PLEASE although they'll cop out by having RKO win the title by NOT pinning HHH. By the way, how freaking awesome would it be if Batista turned on Hunter and joined the Legacy? John Cena (It was actually Edge wanting to take off from the rumor I read) although I'll mark out if Edge uses the brick again. Christian - although I can see this ending in a DQ just to drag it out a bit more. Jeff Hardy - He hasn't been doing well since he lost the title. I'd like to see him win for a change. Ricky Steamboat - I'm really hoping Jericho / Steamboat will be MOTN. Give them 20 minutes and I think this could be a classic. I say have the Dragon win to go in storybook fashion if this is going to be his last match, at least for awhile anyway. CM Punk - Geez, they could've at least put the MITB title shot on the line. Actually, he did, but as you can see, he doesn't look right with it without his hair.

Thankfully, they did wrestle on TV once in early 88. Its on the Best of the WWF Vol. 20 VHS

Other than beating JBL, he couldn't get any credible wins to solidify his position as a main eventer / world champion. That Unforgiven Scramble Match was the best way to give him that big win had he retained, but of course he wasn't even allowed to defend the title.

The problem was that nobody would put the guy over except Bret Hart. Even Hart said that none of the other guys wanted to even let him get a move in on them because of his size.

- In an article in ESPN: The Magazine, John Cena was featured in an article titled "7 Things You Should Know About Being A WWE Superstar". Here are some highlights: I can only assume that Cena was referring to Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in # 7. The two have been going back and forth as of late. Source - wrestlinginc Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson continued to mock the challenge by John Cena to a wrestling match, during an interview with the UK Sun. He said
