I wish I would have known that. I run with mine quite a bit and depending on where I clip it, it will stop right in the middle of a song and go back to the main menu. But, what can you do? That's peculiar, I run with mine all the time and never have any problems like that. I occasionally have issues with one of the headphones, but I think it's more because of how sweaty my ears get after a handful of miles. But I've never had any issues with it geeking out and going to the main menu. I use one of those lame-ass arm bands, though, so maybe it's the clipping it that's causing the issues.

Please no. Why not? Don't let this last season change your prespective of the Quinn. Overall he is still one of the best coaches in the NHL. I think Quinn's "old school" mentality worked a lot better in the pre-lockout NHL than in the current, fast paced NHL. I think the results of this past season, and the '06 Olympic games, are what one can expect if PQ is their coach. I'm not sure if I'd be more surprised or more angry if the B's hired him as their new coach. Most likely angry.

I'm currently battling a pretty nasty case of tonsillitis, and even i'm going to partake in massive amounts of weed, and some delicious hash oil. I would if I could, but I just ended a smoking hiatus and hadn't bothered to pick up a bag yet. Rumor has it that O&A (Opie & Anthony) will be replacing Roth, within a few weeks. It'll be an "FCC friendly" version of their satellite show, but even with some censoring it'll be better than Roth or Stern, IMHO.

Aren't there still some (a lot?) of states that ban MMA fighting? Until it gets national acceptance on a legal level, it's going to be difficult to lose the "bloodsport" stigma entirely.

While ESPN (the Magazine) is a horrible hockey source, there was an article about Hatcher in one of the recent issues, and there's a quote by Clarke about how the Philly fans like a fight or a hit as much as a goal, so the team is kind of forced to play physical play & players, even at the expense of winning. While I don't disagree with his assessment of the Philly fans, I think it's safe to say that Flyers fans would rather win a Cup with less physicality than NOT win a Cup with a bunch of goonery.

Wait, I thought DDP & Bischoff were friends from their days in the AWA, which is what got Page's foot in the door in WCW in the first place, as a manager. And it was his friendship with Bischoff that gave him the chance to actually wrestle. And then to be pushed as a superhuman babyface, even though he was a 40+ year old guy with an outdated look. "Muscular"? "Star look"? We'll have to agree to disagree on that one, Jingus. (There's also the rumors that the Bischoffs & Pages were swingers & into wife-swapping, but I don't believe those are true) And if DDP would have been a star even without Bischoff's help, why was he only a manager in the AWA even though their talent pool was almost completely empty? And, to bring this closer to being back on subject, I think that Abyss is establishsed enough that he's not a Kane/Mankind ripoff anymore. Kind of like how Demolition evolved into being more than a Road Warriors rip-off.

The fact that it's replayed the following weekend can't help much, either. For casual fans, it's easy to justify missing an episode if you know that it's going to re-air a couple of days later.

I actually wanted to pick Buffalo, but I'd picked the top 3 seeds already, and really would be surprised to see the top 4 teams all advance. WEST Detroit in 5 (wouldn't be surprised to see a sweep) Dallas in 6 Anaheim in 7 San Jose in 5 (wouldn't be surprised to see a sweep here, either)

If you had to deal with a poster as shit-tacular as EHME, you'd be depressed, too.
