Gannon's $8 mill contract will be off the books next season. If that doesn't help matters then the Raiders can implode under the salary cap like the Redskins will in '06/'07. Woodson didn't earn his money last season. This year, there *will* be high expectations for the Raiders. I could so see Al Davis (when I really mean Jim Otto) strangling Norv Turner on the sidelines if the team misses the playoffs. No excuses. Carolina brought the hat last season and they were *depleted* with injuries and yet they almost went 8-8 with a playoff spot. That's why I love John Fox. Him, del Rio and Herman Edwards *will* win a SB each in the next 5 years. Andy Reid will probably win the SB next season anyways. The Eagles are still going to be a tough team to beat.

They could draft a defensive coordinator with a brain and switch to a 4-3. Amen. The team just picked up the Ravens former O-line coach, which was the opposite of what they should have picked up (D-line). Maybe some Baltimore fan can chime in and let me know if the Raiders are okay or screwed with this signing. Warren Sapp got pissed for the shitty 3-4 that Bob Ryan ran and Norv Turner didn't listen to him. So Warren snapped on his slave master ass. I couldn't blame him. Turner's still a tool. Ryan has not worked out. He has a *long* way to go before he can fill his dad Buddy's shoes. The Raiders RB situation doesn't look too bad since there are some good FA's out there along with a possible draftee (but I doubt they'll do that come draft day).

If the Raiders draft nothing but defensive guys then they're set. Their LB corps is crap and their DE's could use some more meat. Tui > Collins. Tui is going whip Kegger's ass in spring training. It seems that *everyone* is hoping he works out better than Kegger. The guys love Tui and would take a bullet for him. Goddamn. I honestly thought the Jets or the Jags were going to get Moss. Coach Edwards seems like the type of coach who could get through to a prick like Moss.

Now I haven't read the book but I thought one of ESPN's talking heads brought up a good point about the book if this is true. Canseco dropped the names of the roid guys but the book would have seemed more noble if he had focused more on the negatives about using steroids rather than trying to drag some through the mud.

Hopkins. He just has more experience than Eastman. That can really help someone out in fights. I see the aging vet pulling out the win here.

This is intense.

Happy birthday. Ralph Wiggum immortalized.

Martha's lawyers could have torn up the tape library looking for Owen's fall if she would have even gotten whiff of such a tape along with some evidence.

Did he share with Abyss?

Well, I found it weird that a flyer of Amy happened to be found in Japan, which stirred up this mess initially, and now there's reports about some "major" WWE star having an affair with his wife. Too sudden. The timing's just giving off a weird vibe. Whoever reported the story first should also be looked into. If the Torch broke the story first then things should be taken with a massive grain of salt. If PWInsider or such broke it first then the story could be either true, since their gravy wagon is hitched to TNA, or else it could be false alarm, which is something Ryder and Scherer are not strangers with.
-
The payoff for the War Games story should have been Gordon getting back the use of her legs...not losing her house.
-
Amy was foolish for even wanting to get involved with wrestling. The WWE is a carnival backstage.

RAW is already a cartoon so that's two birds killed with one stone.

By beating God?

Ric Flair vs. Terry Funk can be a comedy match. Sabu should be the guest ref. Shane Douglas should also make a run-in.

I doubt it's HHH but just the ramifications of such an ordeal happening amuses me. It'd be like watching Rome burn down.
-
It would at least explain why Ace would give a shit.
-
I'd laugh if it really did turn out to be HHH. Ace, end game.

If you read Wizard from about the start of Image to the end of Onslaught, the changes the book endured are *very* clear. It's like watching a bread grow old and moldy. Wizard's always been an industry whore. This was the same magazine that let Todd McFucker go ego tripping with his Notes From Todd feature when they first started out. The letters Wizard would post in it's early years was something else. Iron Man vs. the X-Men in a "who'd win it all?" argument raged on for like a year while the "Carnage should have been smoked/saved" debate after Maximum Carnage became one of the most interesting things I have read from Wizard. Those were the days...

Great writers can write around any past event. Many of today's "big" deal writers are not great or even remotely good. Flik has echoed the sentiment that I've heard from *many* non-comic book fans. The day Jean Grey was brought back was when death no longer applied to comics or it's fans. That's a dark day that I still hear get brought up by old timer fans who were *diehard* followers until continuity started getting fucked around with too much. Loyalty need not apply.

Tylene Buck showing up wouldn't surprise me.

Watchmen the movie. That just doesn't sound right. Oh well, here's to hoping that *something* decent comes out of all this.

Comics are slowly going to let movies dictate what stories are told instead of micro managing sub divisions and front office heads who know nothing about comics. I don't like the trends that I've seen in comics since the big Marvel Reboot in '97. TPB's, online comics, fanboy editors, mainstream EIC's, etc. I don't see things boding well for the comic book shelfs in shops in a couple years.

He looks like an even bigger douchebag now than he did in '00. At least he didn't look like the melting face man like he does now. Bendis reminds me of the fanboy that all my friends would hate on since "it's all gotta be his way on something that's already been done." Hack. Bendis and Marvel need to cut ties like yesterday.
