It sounded like Vanessa was hitting on Karl or just flirting with him in a friendly manner. Karl sounded like he was kidding with a kidder who apparently couldn't take such an absurd response in stride once he gave her one. When I first read this story, what popped into my head was "Karl's joking, wow" and shook my head. Karl's response and response time to Vanessa's question(s) told me that he was messing around with her. Shoot, I thought it sounded like Vanessa was hitting on Karl. His answer was just too absurd to sound like it was meant to seriously hit on Vanessa. This girl is the definition of a psycho hose beast. Kobe and 'nessa are made for one another. The "they're dumbass's, we know" coverage that Republicans get from the Daily Show is only going to intensify over the next couple of years. It would be the same way for Liberals if they had the same sort of control in the government like Conservatives do today. Al Gore got no love from Jon Stewart and neither did Bill Clinton when he gave pardons to his assorted felon friends post-Presidency. The Arafat failure was also used to rip Clinton a new one along with bringing up the Medicare and Medical program reforms that him and Hilary cooked up in 1993 that proved to be one of his biggest misfires in the Presidential office (besides the one he shot Monica in the face with). Stewart also took aim at the UN in '99 when they bungled things up in Kosovo and rided them for making the US get involved (again) in a European conflict that should have been settled a long time earlier between the opposing country factions.

Dude- do you watch the Daily Show? Stewart is unbelieveably biased and unapologetically so. He's biased against the things that he finds wrong in Presidentials cabinets, whether they're Republican or Liberal dominated. How long have you been watching Jon Stewart host the Daily Show?

I also understood why Stewart snapped at Tucker the way he did on his show Crossfire: Any Dave Chappelle fans remember the story Dave told about getting pissed at some fan doing the Rick James impression in front of him and his family when they were at Disney Land (or wherever it was)? Stewart felt the same way. He came onto the show under the impression that Tucker would treat him with some sort of laid-back respect while he was on there but instead Tucker waved the condescnding prick carrot in front of Stewart who bit but then wouldn't let go and threw Tucker off from his high horse unexpectedly. It wasn't a Republican vs. Liberal or serious media vs. liberal media encounter, it was just a matter of common decency and respect. Tucker acted like his shit didn't stank and his my work is holier than thou vibe pissed off Stewart who just came onto the show to talk about stuff, not get ripped by some partisan puppy dog. Stewart's comments were just a knee jerk response to Tucker's inferiority complex he took aim at Stewart with and the man just wasn't going to let Tucker put himself over him on the show like that. Kinda like the boyfriend who witnesses his girlfriend getting hit on by the guy who makes jokes about the guy in front of his girl. That's just not going to fly if you have any self-respect. Dave came to the amusement park feeling that he could get treated with some respect by not getting bothered by someone that saw him on TV. Stewart came onto Crossfire under the impression that Tucker was actually going to challenge and engage him in a way that would have been beneficial towards erasing the "my shit is better than yours" mentality that many of the news stations have with eachother, which could have led to something worthwhile for Stewart to talk to Tucker about. Instead, Tucker decided to act like the jackass fan that thought it would be amusing to treat Dave like a side show act in front of his family while Stewart was instead treated like a dancing monkey by the man with the big tie on TV. Stewart's comments might have come off as immature or infantile liberal belly aching and that's not an out of line assessment. But in reality, he was just pissed at the way Tucker came onto the show riding on his high horse while kicking sand in Stewart's face in the way of treating him like a porn start would get treated on the Howard Stern show by badgering them into showing their tits. He just wasn't down with that. I can't fault Stweart for getting pissed at Tucker the way he did. On the current topic: Rummy needs to be replaced in at least a year or less. Too much negative shit has gone on during his watch that can't be explained in a reasonable and good way and that's just going to be too much bad PR for a Presidential cabinet that has been under fire for a while for being tools and partisan puppets. He's got unwarranted baggage attached to him that could rival Ashcroft's at some point down the line and that's when the sharks are going to take an unecessary chomp out of Bush like they did with his US army resume. The bad PR a story like this or something else can get won't be worth keeping Rummy around much longer after the facts.

Stewart is a comedian first, a news anchor second. Tucker Carlson is a news anchor all the way while also being a partisan party whore the next. He prides himself on his coverage and ability to report the news that is considered important by other big media outlets. Jon Stewart is determined to make people laugh but then give them some outlandish take on the current events going on. Big media is sleeze and I know a number of people were turned off after the Clinto hummer scandal and the Dan Rather crusade to brand Bush an army deserter. But they have kept up with the daily show and have never felt it had a liberal or conservative bias to it. They just felt it made fun of stupid politicians or the lame stories that accompany them. The Republicans are in power now so many of the Daily Show's stories are going to cover them by making fun of them or raking them over the coals sarcastically. I can recall the Daily Show making fun of the Liberals in power during Clinton's waning years as President, which is why I have felt that the Daily Show or Jon Stewart had some heavy liberal bias. Clinton was made fun of many times for his inability to get Arafat to concede on signing the Jerusalem accord that would have enacted a cease fire between the Palestinians and Jews. I thought Clinton was always a chump for not pulling off the last ditch effort attempt to get his name signed into the political history books as an effective President. Instead he'll go down known as a perverted slob with an affinity for McD's food. Like most of Bid Media, with the Daily Show and Jon Stewart it's just business. It's nothing personal or political (Dan Rather being one big exception though). I apologize to anyone if this post sounds like it's taking a partisan stance on the Daily Show. I tend to agree with a conservative viewpoint more often than a liberal stance but I find Jon Stweart to be a refreshing change from the poli talking heads every now and then. He's just someone who doesn't try to state his party's line as the right way to go like Tucker Carlson does on Crossfire. Stewart really is the closest thing to a non-partisan and middle of the road guy that we're going to get on TV until both major parties find some common ground with eachother and try to help out the people instead of their closest party members.

Each SB that the ViQueens went to should have gone to the Rams, except for one. Snow and freezing wind can be a bitch. Ask Miami Dolphins fans about that. 6 times the Rams lost to the Vikes in the playoffs and they were all snow-filled home games. They beat the Vikes in the regular season every time they met in those seasons (except for 1 tie). But when they went to Minnesota, the snow did them in. The irony now is that both the Rams and the Vikes suck when they play outdoors. George Halas made the Pack his personal whipping boys during the 50's before Lombardi came in and made GB worth playing for again. That made GB fans waaaaaaayyyy bitter after kicking ass in the 30's and 40's. Curly Lambeau vs. George Halas was a feud that sold tickets out fast. Halas always loved talking shit about the Pack and the crazy cheeseheads despised him for it. It's not like those folks had much else to get worked up about. The bad blood just carried over into the next generations of fans going back to their great grand parents where it still resonates today.
