I'll drop my two cents in since Loss already has: I'd ban INXS before I'd even consider banning C-Bacon. In fact, fuck it, I'd ban INXS only. Goddamn. At least C isn't anywhere near as nutty as INXS has been before. Sheesh.

    More Superman news....

I'm a breast man so excuse my bias towards Nat. She's easy on the eyes anyways. Kunis has got the bitch factor to her that I don't see Natalie with tho. Plus, Lois can act *very* hyper and that's like Jackie from That 70's Show in a nutshell. She was born to play Lois. Portman would be the second girl I'd go with but Mia Kirshner is the one who I think could be a great Lois out of the list above. Possible sleeper performance. Nat's a gifted actress but I think Kirshner could surprise some folks if given the chance.

Just thought this was worth reiterating again after Dama's very well-detailed (seriously) post about how White is one of the best QB's in OU history:

    OaO Oklahoma Football Thread

Follow me Dama, I'm not trying to spike you on your head here man: Earl Campbell *dominated* teams when he ran with the ball. He was the second coming of the toughest bastard to *ever* play football. Ever. Earl Campbell. Jason White. Earl Campbell, one of the baddest brothers to ever run with the ball. Jason White. Earl Campbell, one of toughest SOB's to ever put on a football helmet. Jason White. White's played injured, VERY injured at times, but just the fact that he could turn out to be a double Heisman trophy winner is wrong on several levels. Archie Griffin not withstanding. Campbell transcended the game. He made every white boy on the field that tried to stop him into his own personal hitting bag. He was one of the juggernaut's of running. Jason White is one of the best OU QB's. Key word, only OU. Not college in general. Earl Campbell is one of the best running backs ever. Not just his alma, but in all of football, both college and for the shortest time in the NFL. Now, Jason White will have his name listed next to Earl's. If you can't see why that's wrong then you're hopeless man. Hopeless. At least Griffin put up some unGodly numbers to at least somewhat justify his second Heisman by carrying OSU's ass for 4 years, although he didn't change things like Earl did. Archie Griffin get's a pass since his name rarely get's brought up in the circles that discuss "great" college football players and for good reason. OSU went to the Rose Bowl four times in a row but only one it once. Once. He is one of the best RB's in college football history but he didn't change things like Earl did and couldn't win the big one when it counted in more than once instance. He wasn't the player that Earl was and when Archie went to the NFL, he got owned. Blame it on Cincy but Campbell did okay when he was with Houston but got too banged up to have any real longevity. White's name will most certainly get mentioned regularly if he wins a 2nd Heisman due to his association with OU, which is like the Yankees, Celtics and Cowboys of college football. It will never end, much like Babe Ruth always getting mentioned whenever the Red Sox got brought up before they won their World Series last month. You're biggest problem is that you're too overconfident. I mean waaaayyyy to overconfident, boardering on just plain cockiness. Hence, why you get shit from folks around here. Lots and lots of shit. The Raiders are the winngiest team in football, the Lakers have had the most success in the last 20 years than any other basketball team and the Dodgers are the Yankee's real daddy's. Bo Jackson had three 90 + yard running games when he played with the Raiders. But there is *no* way I'd be okay with some fellow Raiders fan saying "he was one of the best" when there are guys who had longer careers with far more accolades, no matter how good Bo looked in those years he was with the team. Just, no way. But I digress. This is why I am not okay with seeing White's name listed alongside someone like Earl Campbell's. He didn't change things like Earl did. Double-Heisman winners better change the damn game or raise the bar for their position. OU is one of the top programs in history but it's your hater hypocrisy towards other team's and their fans listing their team's achievments that makes you lame. Other than that, you're cool with me. You aren't a bad guy, but goddman brother, don't give us big ogres a bad rap. You'll scare the kids away you big goof. Lame-o. GO USC~! ::drinks homer-ade like a Michael Wilbon:: I hope you at least see where I'm coming from man. I respect winning, since that's the whole point of playing in sports. It's why I don't hate on the Yankees like some fans do. I respect what their organization has done along with OU's. Sorry if I came off rough to you here.

Dama, I don't ever want to hear you complain about the Lakers or their fans again. Ever. Especially after all the trash I saw you spew in this year's championship series thread. Ever, ever. You are one of the *worst* homers I have known and this threads shows it. Terribly. And I've met some obsessive freakin nuts. Your comment about preparing for Baylor is just as bad as the trash you talked about the Lakers "not giving credit" to the teams they beat or being "good winners" after games. Rubbish. Quit clogging threads up with your OU bumpkin jibber jabber. Criminey. White will probably win the Heisman and in the process piss on Earl Campbell's legacy of winning two after being the 2nd coming of Jim Brown. Amazing. Jason White and Earl Campbell, double Heisman Trohpy winners...so wrong to say. On that note, I don't think anyone from USC should be eligible for the Heisman. No one has had a consistent string of stand-out performances compared to other players out there. OU's defense is about as stable as Anna Nichole Smith's sanity but their offense has been top notch. I'll give them that and that it's.

    More Superman news....

She's relatively young so she's got youth on her side. I need to watch more Episodes of Lost before I form any opinion on her being Lois-like. Pending. Too old. Lois is older than Superman in the comics by like 2 or 3 years but CC is almost 10 years older than the guy playing Supes. Sorry sweet thang, pass. Seriously...no. I'd take Mischa's brunette-r counter-part on The O.C. over her for this role. Eat a fuckin steak or somethin. Huge pass. I can't see it. She's blonde and I just don't see her having an edge to her like Lois does. Pass. In the 1995 edition of the History of DC comics, there was this incredible sketch of Lois done by either Jerry Shuester or Curt Swan. The one thing that stood? Tha tittays. Natalie's got none. She's got the...personality and acting scope to play Lois but, goddamn, she needs some tirts before I'd green light her ass into this. At least Margot Kidder had some utters to her along with being schizo. Too-small-of-a-rack pass. So far, she's the only one out of this bunch I could see as Lois. She's got the look, the rack, and the acting ability to pull off the job. Plus, she'll let a guy take a dump on her chest, er, nevermind. This girl is in the lead with me. Lead. Only if Tom Wellington was playing Supes. Pass. The movie doesn't need to be saddled with any Smallville folks (which is unfortunate). No-need-for-confusion pass. Mia Kunis from That 70's Show should really get a look. She has the goods to play Lois I feel. Body, tits, and the type of personality needed. At least, I think she'd do better than any of these skags.

You're probably right since I haven't checked up on that since I first heard her name dropped. The other girl from The O.C. would be okay with me if she played Lois.

    More Superman news....

Mischa Barton from The O.C. is lined up to play Lois Lane. The villain situation appears to be Lex Luthor, General Zod & other possible Phantom Zone villains following him vs. Superman. Topher Grace from That 70's Show is being courted to play Jimmy Olsen. Grace is a year or two older than the lead guy who will be playing Superman.

  10. FOX getting the *entire* NFL package? Damn, they've got some bank then. That'd be kinda weird seeing FOX with full control.

  13. The Cardinals and the Chargers have been run by some of the most inept generations of families for as long as they've been around. The Bidwell's are clueless and the Spanos Goofs are a sick joke. They should have their own section in SI. Al Davis is an asshole. He can be a giant prick to coaches (and players) but his "go for the throat" approach has helped make the Raiders the winningest organization in football. Sometimes people can't handle that mantra and feel scummy for acting like a "thug" as Art Shell put it when he got canned as Raiders coach in '95. You've gotta have a thug mentality in order to play on the Raiders and not turn bitter against Davis and his winning methods and ideologies. The Chicago Bears are not classy. They are run by a cheap prick that helped tear apart the team in the early 90's with no plan for rebuilding in the future. Coach Ditka has no kind words for the current ownership and neither does any other ex-Bears player who saw the team collapse (Jim McMahon will talk for hours about how shitty Chicago was if you ask him). The Halas family has been less than pleased with how sorry the team has been over the last 15 years. The great grand daughter of Papa Bear Halas coming out last year and raking the team over the coals for not signing Kurt Warner is one thing I can recall in recent time. The Rooney families are good people. Pittsburgh has a good environment and the sons have done their old man proud. Big Ben could be the "real deal" and that's a good start to regaining the SB form the team had in the 70's. Jerry Jones is a great owner, along the same vein as Al Davis...but less willing to stir shit up with NFL front office folks. He might be a shrewd owner at times but his "win, win, win" attitude helped make Dallas the NFL juggernaut of the 90's after a sub par 80's decade. Mike Brown is fucked. When his old man died in 1990, the team died with him. He's the youngest owner in the league but has no idea how to run a team. He's got a long road ahead of him. Wayne Heizanga is a tough, but savvy, old bastard of an owner and secret mob boss who will have your legs broken if you utter a single bad word about him or his team. No one is going to say shit about the 'fins. The Miami sun is also a big plus for players. Dan Snyder is a fuck-up for a human being as well as an NFL team owner. Maybe he'll learn something down the road. Next. Eddie Bartolo was the fuckin man. He'd spend like mad to accommodate his players and made them feel like good human beings. Christmas was always special with the 49ers. Hell, he even tried to beat the shit out of some fan who threw a cup at him. That's just crazy. He needs to come back. Jonathan York is a lucky bastard for marrying Eddie's sister. That's the only positive thing I can say about him otherwise. Robert Kraft is a fan and an owner. He was a season ticket holder since 1971 and came to every game until he bought the team. He loves the Patriots and there's just no questioning that. He seems like a pretty cool guy to have around as an owner. Just don't let him dance in public. The Irsay family...I am shocked that the Irsay spawn didn't get deep-sixed in SI for the mess that Irsay Sr. caused when he moved the Colts from Baltimore in the middle of the night in '83. What a scumbag. This guy should get shat on for being Satan, not Al Davis. At least he's won something in the last 20 years unlike NoSay family. They *really* do deserve to have a piece written on them by SI or shown on ESPN that goes in-depth about how unfaithful they are towards their football fans in the upcoming months. The Colts have been used several times as LA bait by the Irsay family in getting their demands met by saying they'd move the team like they did 20 years ago. Assholes. The Glazer family hit gold (JEWISH~! gold to be precise) with the Bucs 2002 SB victory so they managed to do something right. It just seems like the Bucs are a play thing for Malcolm Glazer since he's tried to make bids to owning an MLB, NHL and a Soccer club (Manchester U looks like it'll be swallowed up in a hostile takeover if Glazer accumulates enough stock control, something he has been buying up a lot of this last year). The Vikings are owned by a guy who sold cars. He knows how to wheel and deal. Red Combs knows how to get folks to drink the Minnesota Kool-aid. He's got shit to show though except stolen Conference Championship games from the LA Rams. Again, this is another douche bag owner who has waved the LA carrot in front of the NFL when things haven't gone his way. Speaking of... Georgia Frontiere might just be the scariest owner in the league. Wayne Heizanga has nothing on this bitch. 9 husbands. Wow. The last one drowned after going on one of his routine swims...his name? Dan Reeves, former owner of the Los Angeles Rams. Georgia is a slick, slick gold digger. Reeves' son was supposed to takeover for dad when he'd die but instead Georgia got the team after overseeing a reworking of the will that her hubby "insisted" she make for him in the event he died. My hat goes off to Lady Frontiere. Ironically, Jerry Richardson, the owner of the Carolina Panthers, is the only other owner besides Al Davis (who was a coach in San Diego) who has an actual clue about football and can be able to talk shit to his staff without looking like a douche. He was a player for the Colts during the 50's and invested his money well. He's got a good club and I can see them winning an SB in 5 years time if John Fox sticks around. Green Bay is in the freezingest fuckin place in the western world so I would hope the owners would be super nice people with great facilities to work in. Lambeau has a lot of history and the front office has utilized this well. I'm not familiar with the new owner for the Atlanta Falcons but he got slapped with a sexual harassment lawsuit not too long ago so maybe he's got a seedy side to him. Everyone else...don't care. The Bills and the Seahawks can fly away for all I care. Losers.

Zack Malibu is no fun :(

Why would you post the PM in *public* after Zack took the matter with you in *private* so something like this could be avoided (for your benefit I might add)? Simply put, there was *no* justifiable reason to post this PM. No reason. The only reason you started this thread was so you could mock and chide Zach in *public* for an issue he took up with you in *private* discussion. Personally, I think what you have done is totally out of line and pretty douchebaggish to boot Stevey. It's bad enough when mods get punted around for taking posters to task in public and bemoaned for "ganging up" on a poster when more than one of us steps into a thread and says something. Yet, you have the audacity and twattery to post a routine warning PM in public by trying to drum up support to condemn Zack for doing his job in a preferable way that the majority here likes. Many posters like us for talking to them in private about board infractions and other shit like that since it is "respectful" towards their character in public, which is something I think is cool and agree with. Normally, we have a better chance at getting through to them through PM then we would by ripping them a new one in public. HD is the folder where you can go to mock folks without getting canned (well, at least most of the time). But mocking a mod in this type of malicious fashion for doing their job is where the line is drawn. Pretty much, every staff member has been taken to task in this folder by posters for one reason or another. We can take it but we can also dish it out. But when you disobey a mod like this, something that is in the board rules and not too hard to follow, then you're just asking to be taken out back and turned into glue. This, to me, is like breaking Guy Code and that is not cool at all. You can't trust a guy after they've ratted out on another dude like that and posting Zack's PM in public with the intention of mocking him is shady. But I'm not your target so I'll let Zach or whoever from the staff deal with you however they want. I dropped my two cents on this matter and I'll leave your future up to people better than me.

Nah, everything of the utmost importance was said better by a a gang of people smarter than me. Brian should consider becoming a phsyical trainer. He's eons better at giving explanations for how to do workout lifts and such than I could. Form, repetition, good nutrition and doing things in moderation are the essentials. Short form and all that. I see too many fat kids at the daycare I work at. I mean *FAT* fuckin kids whose parents should have their faces crippled for over feeding their children and not having them do some sort of exercise to counter attack the fat these kids are stomaching. But I digress...
