Here's something I'm throwing out since I'm not sure: Could the Knicks sign Jamal Crawford, Vince Carter, Antoine Walker and Erick Dampier for this season or would they be too over the salary cap? And could Dallas sign Jason Kidd who I hear wants a trade from New Jersey?

I can only answer for myself here but I'll say that I must have either a) missed them b) didn't think they were needing a warning and c) might have been lazy and not cared. It could be any one. That's cuz I saw it furst. ... For all of my power-mad-hungry-knowledge I have no answer for why Tom didn't do anything with this thread. You'd have to ask him.

I haven't looked into either one of those two names and I'm not sure if anyone else has on the staff. If we do find out that they're PBP's then you'll know as well.

Well...this day has been full of twists and bannings... slacklet = Johnson after doing an IP check. PBP. The CWM hate. The Lakers love. The beefing with the staff whenever we ban someone (hitting a bit close to home with him). You should have kept a lower profile Johnson. Later.

That's not something I'd call a prescedent in this case. Loss and I explained ourselves during the WWE folder changes because the thing was botched when we started it up and we were left clearing things up for folks. We chose to do that.

Choken didn't troll anyone. He didn't spam the board. And he didn't call anyone some nasty racial slur. Personally, I thought Choken One was an okay guy sometimes. I have never despised the guy or felt he was some sort of asshole. But simply put, he got banned for being a really, really, really crappy poster with nothing redeemable about him that I could use as an argument to justify his continued existence on the board. Either the staff looks like chumps for letting Choken stick around and post his drivel or else we look like power abusing ogres for banning him for his shitty posts. I've been around him posting since our days at the old Smarks EZ Board and I can say that he hasn't changed since those days. He never made any progress or improvement in curbing his post whoring and adding nothing of substance to the board even after he had been warned several times over the past couple years. I'll probably get some eyes raised in my direction for banning Choke but that's something I knew would happen and was prepared for it when I hit the "ban" button. This stuff makes some folks feel tense or unsure that they "might be next" and that's normal to feel. But Choke was warned so he did have a head's up to improve but never complied. He was just totally worthless as a poster with nothing redeemable about him to justify his existence on the board. I apologize for making anyone here feel "am I next?" but I can assure everyone here that I've got no one else in mind to ban at this moment. I hope that gives you all some sort of reassurrance. If not, then all I've got to offer is an open invite to talk to me on PM or AIM if you're not feeling this banning. I'll be more than happy to talk to folks privately about this if you want. I see where both sides are coming from on this matter. Caboose followed the protocal of this folder however so in that respect he's done nothing wrong.

I agree that Payton sucked as an outside shooter, but he never really was one to begin with. He just got stuck with those shots thanks to the damn triangle. Gary may be a little slower, but I really do think he'll have a better season this year. I'd still take Fisher over Gary since the Lakers could get more years and production out of Fish than they could GP. Gary never made an effort to learn the triangle like Karl did and managed to embarass himself in it instead of trying to become a team player.

It might have just taken a dip in the drink. I hope Fish does resign. I'd want him starting over Gary who has managed to lose not one, not two, but possibly three steps in his game. He was slow on the fast break and couldn't make an outside shot 80% of the time if his life depended on it. Eric Dampier is also rumored to be in the Lakers sights who I'd take over Vlade in a Laker minute.

Because he probably wants to save the *money* match-up for when the series is in need of cash. It currently doesn't have this problem.
