I was actually shocked to see someone, in this case Darkhorse head honcho Michael Richardson, come out and say how the Watchmen was both good *and* bad for the comic industry. I never thought I would see someone publically be objective towards one of the Holy Grail's of comics.

I've been digging Ed McG's Superman over the last couple months. He kind've reminds me of Curt Swan's Superman who many fans thought at the time was too "overdone" in how big he looked. I too thought Ed's Superman looked too "cartoony" for me but over time I have started to reconsider my stance on his Superman. It looks good.

The only reason I wouldn't do it would be that by the time they have their final battle, the Joker might have have reached the 7 digit range on the number of people he killed up to that point. That would just make everyone who tried to bring him down look even more inept for not taking him out back and putting a bullet in his head earlier. I'd have Batman put the kibosh on the Joker before he stops being Batman (ala Batman Beyond). If I were to kill off Batman in a story I would have someone new he has never faced do it. It would then soldify Grayson's spot as the heir to the Batman throne where he could carve out his own name afterwards.

Fromer Rantsylvania/Smarks poster and now 411 writer Jesse "Judas" Baker discussed the Magneto/Xorn revelation a while back. Here. The point about Wolverine not being able to smell Magneto out is what makes many fans, myself included, feel that Morrison just pulled this out of his ass rather than having thought out the story ahead of time.

Either have him get killed in the line of duty or have him retire in peace and go on to have a good life. Let Grayson develop his own identity instead of having him become Batman.

I strongly suggest everyone check out the "Hulk Trilogy" from Iron Man #131 to #133. It is one of Iron Man's best fight's and a solid contender for "best fight ever shown in a comic book." The Hulk trilogy is one of the most underrated storyarcs in comic books. You don't need blood, guts, and tons of swearing to make a fight look great. Again, I highly recommend everyone goes out and read the whole trilogy from start to end. Not only is the fight great but there is also a neat little side story thrown in that involves Iron Man's then love interest Bethany Cabe (think Marney but minus the lesbianism...how unfortunate ). Fans like to bring up how Batman and Superman are the yin and the yang of one another. Iron Man and the Hulk could be the same way. Both characters can easily be compared and contrasted with one another if you sit down and think about it. Hopefully this potential relationship will be more thoroughly explored by some comic book writer down the line. I'm not big into the "who would win" discussions since you could make a compelling argument for just about anyone and easily manipulate the outcome for the character you hold an interest in.

Why Marney, I had no idea you cared. I'd venture to say that Brian's dismissal might have had to do with his inactivity as a mod at the board over the last several months. After Wrestlemania he just seemed to drop off the radar.

Last week's Justice League episode ranks up there with just about any of the best BTAS episodes I've seen. HIGHLY, highly recommended viewing.

The only heroes who have held their own against the Hulk and not ended up being turned into mulch were Thor, the Thing (once), and Batman. When Spider-Man had cosmic powers he managed to down Mr.Fixit but this Hulk was weaker than the green version. Wolverine and Hulk have never had a definite conclusion to any of their fights although the Hulk has knocked Wolvie out before but never followed up on it. But Wolverine managed to take a large chunk of the Hulk's ass in each of their encounters. A Hulk sequel would be great if they just have him beat the holy hell out of the Abomination and turn back the mutant forces of the Leader.

You have nothing to worry about Czech. **EDIT** It just occurred to me that some of what has been said about the Game might have legitimately made some of you feel worried that he might try to do something to you. None of you have any reason to feel worried. He is a miserable excuse for a human being who can't stand it if his actions are not witnessed by a public audience. He feeds for the attention and for him to do anything to any of you would be a waste of his time since he is banned from all the boards he would want to have witnessed his crap.

Of course he is going to tell a different side of the story. One of his best defenses against his detractors is acting dumb or lost about what he does when someone calls him on his actions. Either that or else he tries to discredit the word of the people calling him on his actions by labelling them as "haters" who are mindlessly out to make him look bad because they listened to the "lies" Loss spread about him. I can confidently tell you that Loss is not lying about the Game stalking him. I recall several instances where I would be talking to Loss on AIM and he would tell me how the Game would IM bomb him under different names after he would block one. In a trick that pulled a couple people's strings, the Game faked having a heart attack in a WDI chat about a year ago. I might have this chat since it was when I had AIM + but needless to say a number of people were worried until the Game's story fell apart with plot holes which he was taken to task for his "joke."

He feared (and kissed ass to) PORNFAQ/CJ a lot more than he probably does you.

I'm speaking from experience and first-hand accounts. Anyone from WDI and SNKT can back-up what I am going to say below as everything stated is true with there being no embellishment of the truth in my post: 1. Harassing Loss4Words - the Game stalked Loss for nearly 2 years online in various ways. Loss can come in and expand on anything Game related if he wants to. 2. Multiple user names - the Game has tried to impersonate numerous people, normally people who he had a problem with in the old WDI chat room, by spreading lies about them and making them look bad in general. The attempts at distorting an AIM name so that it would resemble the real user's screen name was tried but failed. The Game then resorted to creating new names and passing them off as a known user but with a new name (making up some excuse for the name change). The Game then played games with WDI late last year by IMing people under one of his user names and flaming them, only to recant words and blame someone else for impersonating him. This led to a number of AIM conversations being posted at the old WDI EZ Board but was deleted to clear up room. There is one conversation floating around where the Game admits to Hoff about his lying to other people and telling them he was being impersonated as being nothing more than means of payback for WDI banning him (twice). Jon Sterich, Bruiser Chong and old WDIer CerebusTheAardvark were 3 people that the Game tried to create distorted AIM names to use and play off as the real thing. I'm sure he has tried it with others (if anyone else wants to add to this as well). 3. Stalking - as mentioned above he stalked Loss4Words online for about 2 years and many other WDI/SNKT posters can attest to being harassed by the Game in some similar fashion. When the Game was banned from WDI a 2nd time, he got in touch with the girlfriend's of both Dutch and IllustriousOne. Josh and Dutch can add to this if they want. 4. Reverend Reason - in one of the Game's most over-the-top-headache induced ways of getting revenge, the Game went under the AIM name Reverend Reason and managed to squeeze a wedge between SNKT founders and long-time friends PORNFAQ and the ManInBlack/White which led to a month or so of drama where everyone was looking over their shoulders. Anyone who wants to see what others like me are talking in regards to the Game's online actions over the years can check out the posts in either one of the threads: Reverend Reason ArchBishopLight 5. Perverted - the Game made it well-known to everyone at WDI that he was indeed "curious" about other males and let everyone know about it. The stories the Game shared about his gay-escapades mainly resembled the ones he shared here at TSM whereas some of his earlier musings at WDI were downright disgusting. One of the infamous stories about the Game's bisexual/homosexual behavior was when he made a post telling everyone how he tasted his own semen. There was also a story the Game relayed about how he let the neighborhood bully do him in the ass. I am vague on the details of the story so someone else who knows it can fill in the blanks (if they wish). 6. Flaming - after WDI admin Hoff made a mistake by suggesting that the Game might be causing trouble at WDI under a different board name (this was over a year ago), he proceeded to make a Photoshop collage of various pictures of Hoff. The collage contained crude word bubbles that had spiteful and cruel comments in them with the intent of humiliating Hoff. The post was quickly taken down and trashed. But the Game created his own message board for what seemed to be for the sole purpose of only posting the collage so that everyone would see his work without having to see it get taken it down. He was the only one who had a post at his board which was also titled with a rude name for Hoff. 7. Trolling - when The Thread Killer/Dave Dymond publicly denounced the Game for telling several WDI posters that Loss4Words had AIDS (a lie), the Game trolled Dymond at TSM. There was one post the Game made to Dymond in the TNA where he flamed him and made it clear he was only doing it because he disliked his ex-friend (who went to bat for the Game on numerous occasions). 8. "No" means NO - the Game has been banned from WDI more times than I can keep track of. He is on auto-ban at SNKT after his RR scam. He was also recently banned at the Cyber Sluts board (CWM/Banky's board) after he had been shortly banned from TSM. Whenever the Game was banned from WDI, twice under the name Game2705, he would come back with a different name and either post like nothing happened or he would try to get the last word in on the thread that ended up getting him banned. The Game can seemingly come back and post whenever he wants since he apparently has a dynamic (?) IP that allows him to get around being banned at message boards. In one instance, the Game demanded that his old name be unbanned at WDI while posting under a different name. His demand was met with another banning. The Game's latest return under the OTP name is just another example of him coming back after he was banned by a message board and not taking the hint given to him about his status at the board. 9. Wolf in sheep's clothing - in a chat that I, PORNFAQ and another WDI poster by the name of the GreatSmitty had that discussed Jay Bower's writing abilities, the Game came into the chat late and missed a section of the conversation where all 3 of us made it clear to one another that what would be said was in the way of constructive criticism and nothing more. At the end of the chat, which the Game had stayed in for the rest of it, I made it known to the Game that I knew he would use the chat as a way to start trouble between the 3 of us and Bower. The next night in a WDI chat, Bower had showed up and shortly after, the Game showed Bower the chat like I had predicted he would. I arrived in the chat and spoke to Jay about what had happened. When I asked Jay to show me the chat the Game had given him and I saw that he had he edited certain lines in the chat that made it seem as if we were flaming Jay for no reason. I showed Jay the real chat (which had been saved on my now defunct AIM +) and he understood what the Game had done with Smitty confirming to Jay what I had told him. This coincided with the Game being banned from WDI for the 2nd time after he had broken his promise to Dutch from his 1st banning about how he would not cause any drama at WDI. The reason the Game was banned from WDI was that shortly after he had left the chat from that night, he made a post that continued off from the chat we had both been in where I was arguing with him about the chat nonsense. The Game had brought drama from the chats into the board and this ended up earning him the 2nd and final banning under the Game2705 screen name at WDI. The AIM conversations any of you have had him with him where you revealed any bit of personal information you might not want to see used in a malicious manner or repeated in public is a strong possibility. Cozying up to posters who make their contact information public (AIM, MSN, etc.) has been a hallmark of the Game's since his days of stalking Loss. If he sees that you are vulnerable or gullible in some way, he will take advantage of it and later on exploit it if you "wrong" him in whatever the way might be. 10. Mentally Unstable - his offline character has been called into question after some personal encounters with posters. I'm sure that other people who were around for the Game's heyday of causing trouble can add more to this list but the information I listed above is given with the intention of informing those who might not know about the his sordid past and helping them possibly avoid taking a bullet for their kindness and openness towards him.
