I hate to say it but I'm rooting for the Yankees because it would seem anti-climatic if it wasn't Sox/Yanks in the ALCS. With that said, this is make it or break it for Santana. He's got TONS of pressure tonight and if he chokes, I think he loses the Cy Young Award (and I know it's suppose to be about regular season, but be serious). Santana loses one of his games, Yanks take the series.

It ruins his performance, no doubt. He pitched a hell of a game...they just left him in WAY too long for playoff baseball. There's no reason to keep him in their at the possibility of getting injuried, losing energy for the next game, having stats ruined...I mean, if it was fucking Arroyo in there I could give a shit. But Schilling IS the number one pitcher on the ball club and there's just no logical reason for keeping him in that long. I'm not flipping out because they WILL win the game, I'm flipping out because I don't want to see it happens when it REALLY matters...say, against the Yankees.

Unless Vince has had a change of heart in the past 24 hours, then this thing with Flair is ridlicious. I can understand not liking Flair "shooting" to a point on a live microphone on Raw and doing something that was inappropriate, which Flair no doubt did. But as everyone has said time and time again, Vince just keeps doing stupid shit that's WORSE than this..and it's alright. I'd like to see him explain how it's alright for the stuff he's done. I don't see how Flair's promo was honestly any more offending, prehaps worse, by scripting Triple H to "fuck" a dead corpse.

This bugs me. I respect Vince for saying something and maybe at the possibilty of trying to clean up the company image...but then he has the Kane/Lita angle. Seriously, 1 step forward...ten backwards. Vince needs to open his fucking eyes.
