SWEET! -
I know that there is going to be a conflict between Blu Ray and HD DVD players. Has there been any word on when it's all going to take place?

Sin City on DVD soon...

I'm psyched that there'll be a special edition, but it sucks that we have to wait so fucking long to get it! Hopefully Batman Begins will come out soon. -
I remember that WWE was going to put out another ECW DVD this fall. Has there been any word on what's on it, or what it's even called?

The official Rescue Me season 2 thread

After last night's ep, it looks like Janet and the kids aren't going to be around for a while. Somehow I don't think them coming home would be good, especially with Tommy's OTHER kid coming into the picture! Probe is really starting to freak me out. I knew he was a little off-base but damn if that kid isn't a psycho-in-trianing. And I can't wait for the Tommy/Franko confrontation! They'll either totally ignore each other or start in with a fistfight. Personally, I'm hoping fistfight! -
I got the DVD yesterday, but can't seem to find the alternate audio commentaries for the matches. Are they hidden somewhere?

The One and Only Batman Begins thread

I liked the romored sequel plot of Batman teaming up with Gordon and Harvey Dent to take down the Joker. Joker is the next logical step for a Batman franchise. It's like doing a group of Superman movies without Lex Luthor--it just ain't right! -
I've tried out a few of the old XPW shows, and some were ok. But I was looking on Amazon.com, and this one caught my eye. I was wondering if anyone has seen the show and had any opinions on it? Here's the match lineup. Shane Douglas vs. Terry Funk (XPW World TItle Match) Supreme vs. Angel (King of the Deathmatch) MMW vs. The New Panthers "Rock Superstar" Kaos vs. Chris Hamrick (XPW TV-Title Match) Bonus Matches, which I assume are show in full: Little Guido vs. Vic Grimes vs. Altar Boy Luke Super Crazy vs. Psicosis Chris Chetti vs. Juventud Guerrera

So is the acting any better in the new film? -
Could someone tell me what happened in the final moments of last night's episode? My tape cut out right as Vincent took off swimming for the raft.

You haven't seen the Clone Wars cartoons, have you? -
Is this film supposed to take place in modern days? If so, then I'm not so sure about Clark looking the same he did in the 70's films. Just seems too...retro, I guess.

Countdown to Infinite Crisis, six page preview

Just to add my two cents, I got a free copy of this last week and enjoyed it. Doesn't make me want to go out and buy all the tie-ins, but it did make me want to buy Villains United. So, go DC! -
Man, Christopher Lloyd just can't seem to get (good) steady work these days. That's really depressing, the guy deserves better than this shit.

If that is true, then that's worse than a high school locker room (or equivalent to a gay porno, take your pick). Too bad New Jack wasn't signed by WWE like it was rumored. I could see Bradshaw try something like that in the shower and New Jack biting his hand off. Which would RULE~!

Well, if Victoria doesn't realize that she's next, then she must be pretty doped up on crack right now. What I don't get is why Molly gets canned while Stacy is still kept. Yeah, I know she does photo shoots and stuff, but it's not like she's around on tv that much promoting anything.

With Steph, I've always found her to be very attractive or very unattractive. When she would leave her hair straight and wear some decent clothes, she looked pretty good; I thought she was damn sexy. But when she tried to be "evil and slutty," then it was just terrible. Either way, that boob job does not look healthy for a woman under 30. She might want to have them removed.

There are three more larger stories to tell. None of whom feature Kevin. 1. A Dame To Kill For: Is a backstory about Dwight. Tells why he changed his face, his history with Gail and Shelly, and his previous encounter with Manute. Also has a team-up with Dwight and Marv, which is awesome! 2. To Hell and Back: Story about an ex-special forces soldier named Wallace who gets caught up in a conspiracy of sorts. Naturally, it involves a woman. Not the best Sin City story, but still good. I think Rodriguez wanted to do this one first with Johnny Depp starring, but opted not to. 3. Family Values: A third Dwight story that takes place after Big Fat Kill. Dwight and Miho are assigned a mission and run into the mob. Pretty good story. Besides those, there are only very one-shots that run as long as the opener in the film. Several do involve The Salesman (Hartnett's character) and an assasin named Blue Eyes; both of whom appear in To Hell and Back.

I saw the first show at my local theatre last night. Great movie! After seeing it I took a look at the graphic novels and saw how close they were to the comic--which is just fucking spot on. My favorite story was Marv. This wasn't an actor playing Marv, this WAS Marv! They just took him off the page and put him onto the screen. Some of the performances were a bit wooden (Jamie King, Brittany Murphy, and Madsen's first scene or two). Sadly there were only about two dozen people at the 6:45 show. And I say in front of a woman who laughed every time someone got grotesquely shot; annoying as hell. Still, this was awesome, and I will be buying this on DVD.

Personally, I don't think Shyamalan has made a bad film yet; some have been better than others, but nothing that made me want to demand my money back (looking at YOU George Lucas!). Like many others, Unbreakable is my favorite of the bunch. Sixth Sense is all right (not as good the second time), and Signs was good. The Village has definately been his weakest film yet. The directing and writing just wasn't as strong as the others. BUT, the movie did make me want to jump for joy when the villain got what was coming to them. I won't spoil it, it but it made what to shout out loud for that fucker getting what they fucking deserved! I want to see Shyamalan just make a good movie with great a great story and characters. We don't need a twist ending all the time, sometimes we just need a good movie.

It's a lock that HBK and Taker will win. I'm still undecided on Triple H, I still have it in my head that Batista might win. I do believe they will put Cena over; or at least he'll have the title for a few months before jobbing it back to JBL.

Ok, I've figured it out. How do you print these off?

The Shield Season 4 Offical Thread
brokentusk16 replied to Youth N Asia's topic in Television & Film
Great episode! It's been so long, I've forgotten how fucked up the people on this show can be (Acevada, the restaurant owner). I'm predicting that Acevada will go off the deep end before the season is out, the guy is becoming unstable. I have a suspicion that Rawlings is up to something, her actions just seem like a cover for something. I can't put my finger on it, but something isn't adding up with her. I like the Dutch/Army team, similar to what Vic started with the Strike Team. Hope we see more of these two together. And the ending was awesome! Vic seeing his own future at Gilroy's funeral? Good stuff. Really set the tone for the next phase of the show. BTW, who played the "rock" version of Amazing Grace at the end? -
They'll resurrect the team somehow, whoever Triple H is buddies with backstage. For a while I thought Chris Masters was going to replace Batista as the generic muscle guy, but it doesn't look likely now.

This sounds interesting. I'll want to see what has been added before I decide to purchase. I was waiting for the special edition DVD's, but seeing the bare bones editions for $14 apiece into Wal-Mart looks pretty inviting too. That would be buying both versions for the full price of one of them.
