What about a movie based off the current X-Factor book? Mutant detectives in the Mutantown section of New York. They use minor characters who could really be fleshed out. Well, except Madrox appeared in X3, but I think it was small enough to be retconned.

Are they serious about this? I'm really asking, are they?

They seem to kill off characters that they can't think of what to do with (Boone, Shannon, Ana). That's why I'm thinking Desmond is next. He was a big part of season 2's finale, and now they've had him do very little. He'll be dead in this seasons finale, if not sooner.

You honestly think those two are going to last? Seriously, outside of Jack, Kate, and Sawyer, everyone else is like a second bananna on this show. Tonight has really made me question how reliable this show is.

Just a little update for anyone interested. I've ordered a few items so far and have had good service. I just ordered a few used items and chose the bank account debit option for payment of that. I've finally decided that I should join the new century and start ordering off of Amazon. Just wanted to know how reliable they are for quality of products and shipping reliability. Any opinions? Will it matter if I use money orders instead of credit cards? Any advice would be appreciated.

We don't know that Desmond never saw it. When Sayid brought going to see the Others, all he got was "So you're off to see the hostiles?" That's all he said. Hell, he could have tons of information about their origins, but he just hasn't brought it up yet. As for the whole killing thing, I think that ties into their whole holier than thou attitude. The Others seem to think they're above the Losties, so maybe they see themselves as actual people and see the Losties as something lower. Hence, the lives of Ethan, Goodwin, and Colleen were more important than those of Steve, Ana Lucia, Nathan, and Libby.

I'm assuming that Locke, Eko, and Desmond were saved by the island somehow (the monster, perhaps?). Think about it, the island has communicated with both Locke and Eko before, and now Desmond comes back with the power to see the future? I'm thinking there is a reason all three came out of that implosion alive. I agree with you a bit about new characters. It's a little late to be doing that, but as long as they are interesting, I'm willing to live with it. Besides, maybe they could do flashbacks with background characters on the island. Show us what they were doing when the Others attacked, the DHARMA food was dropped, etc.

Actually, the Machete stuff is supposed to be a trailer that shows between Tarantino's and Rodriguez's films. These films look like they could be fun, I'll pony up the $6 to see them. if From Dusk Till Dawn is any indication, a Tarantino/Rodriguez collaboration could rock.

I do hope that the Stamford characters get developed more. So far we have Andy, latin girl, hot blonde girl, and the Stamford manager. Let's see more of Jim interacting with them!

Interesting video. So the numbers predict the end of humanity, and DHARMA is trying to change the world through scientific discovery to avert that end. But I wonder what the virus is for. Maybe as a means to unite mankind in attempt to save itself? It'll be interesting to see if any of this plays into the show.

We've been with dial-up at my house for the last few years now, but we're going to be getting DSL soon. The phone company will install it, but I'm worried if I will have all I need. I asked a buddy and he asked me if I had a network interface card. I have no idea. I have a socket where I plug the phoneline into the computer. Will that be enough? Or will the modem the installation comes with cover everything? Any help/advice would be much appreciated.

I hope this doesn't mean that Eko is going to written out of the show. Both Ana Lucia and Libby were gone not too long after Rodriguez and Watros being arrested last year.

We got the computer sometime in 2001. It's Compaq Presario 5000. I looked up a website (http://www99.epinions.com/content_49443868292) and it says that the computer comes with a "10/100Mb PCI NIC". Does that sound right? And yeah, it does have the USB plugin in the front.

YES!!! I'm so sick of the "love triangle" plot that I'm going to vomit. Just pick one and stick with it! The show is at its best when it sticks to the island and flashback stuff. Honestly, of the characters, Kate is my least favorite. If this show wants to really shock people? Kill her off.

So where is Traci these days? I know Gayda was probably written out for her pregnancy, but Traci is still signed. TNA has the wrestling, they just need a little more eyecandy besides Gail Kim and the quick glance at So Cal Val.

Well, now that Angle is an ECW wrestler, they must see it as a "WWE vs. ECW" match.........which it isn't. If they pulled this match at a WWE vs. ECW ppv next year, then I could see it, but not now.

So now that we know the first two WWE stars to jump to ECW--Angle and RVD--and guesses/wishes on who else would? I'm think that Super Crazy and Nunzio will, just to get old ECW names in. Other than that, the only guys I can think of that could use a fresh start and still make good contributions would be Hass, Kendrick, and London. So of course they won't get traded!

Maybe he never went back to the Others camp, maybe he went to find someone else for sanctuary. We really don't know how many people are on the island, so it is possible that there are other groups or individuals. A paranoid theory I know, but hey, ANYTHING can happen on this island!
