X-7 was the perfect main event for the perfect Wrestlemania.

Remmember when Rocky debuted in '96, everyone hated him and note just for his bland character, he was a green wrestler with basic moves in the ring. Not saying that Masters could be the next Rock, but we can't expect every guy these days to break out of the gate and take the audience by storm. Esecially with the restrictive nature of how WWE lays out matches. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You are trying to compare apples with oranges, the main reason the WWF were pushing Rocky down our throats back in 96 was the fact that the roster didn't have that many big stars at the time and they were in need of finding their next big thing. The only big stars the WWF had at the time was HBK, Taker and Bret, Sid bombed as a champion, Vader was getting jobbed out, Austin and Mankind were still trying to get over and the Outsiders (Nash and Hall) left the WWF for WCW. Nowadays the WWE is full of guys with amazing talents but WWE refuses to showcase their skills and instead they keep on pushing heatless untalented workers just because of their "looks".

I would love to see a feud between Foley and RVD, that would be a dream hardcore match come true if Vince allows it.
-
Personally I would've liked for Eddie and Rey to have a competitive feud (meaning that they both were put over equally) instead of Eddie jobbing to Rey time after time in 2005, it doesn't make any sense to me that Rey gets to beat a former WWE champ 7 or 8 times just so he could get pinned cleanly by a transitional "World champion" in Orton.
-
Sheesh!! Eddie is the biggest jobber in the world since he can't even beat that masked midget at least once this year and Randy only needed one match to destroy Rey Rey. One more thing about the SD report, I highly doubt that the fans were upset that JBL wasn't on the show unless hell has already frozen over.

Well Mr. Pink said it best " This is the smallest violin playing for the Mc Mahons."
-
I don't see anything special about Mr. Kennedy but he might make it as a top midcarder, nothing more, nothing less.
-
CM Punk might be a mat style wrestler but eventually WWE will find a way to fuck him over and make him uninteresting, they are doing it with London, Christian, Matt Hardy and all the other cruiserweights. Vince talks about learning how to work to get over but then he puts guys like JBL and Batista as main eventers with long world title reigns.
-
And not for nothing Bret looked like he could really take a huge guy out just because he looked tough. When I stopped watching the WWF back in 95 and somehow I foud out that Shawn was the WWF champ, the first thought that went through my head was that this pretty boy, former Rocker, HBK, weighing in @ barely 200 lbs didn't look like a credible champion.

Mick Foley talked about coming back to Raw

I would love to see a Foley/RVD feud to proclaim who is the real "Hardcore Icon". -
<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Vince is such a jackass that he doesn't realize that Cena's 15 minutes of fame is already up.
-
Awesomeness? Benoit pineed a nobody that was holding the U.S. belt since March (I think) in less than 25 seconds. By beating a joke of a champion is not going to do any wonders for Benoit.
-
Just like last year's Summerslam match, Orton/Benoit was overrated and it deserves nothing more than **3/4 stars in my opinion.
-
Since Orton didn't get over the 1st, 2nd or 3rd time Benoit tried to get him over then this time it might work.

What is Chavo's gimmick going to lead to?
humongous2002 replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
I smell Sunday night Heat until the WWE releases Chavo before the X-mas season. -
I guess that there's a lot of lonely people out there that are in need of these Diva videos.

HHH now is officially part of creative team
humongous2002 replied to Kurt Angle Mark's topic in The WWE Folder
Well I guess the Triple H championship dinasty will continue for 20 more years. -
I agree with that, Cena's 15 minutes of fame is almost up and WWE seriously needs somebody to take over as the #1 babyface on RAW.
-
LMAO, even Sandman or Tommy Dreamer are bigger draws than that main eventer wannabe JBL. ONS did way better than GAB.
-
Book used to be entertaining and a great tag team wrestler, but nowadays he is nothing more than jobber to the stars and this sudden push he's been getting is a little too late.
-
The one and only time that Brock showed some kind of charisma
-
All I know is that after his feud with Edge ends, Matt will go back to Heat or curtain jerking.
-
Thank God for Tivo, all I do is just watch the segments with Eddie, Rey, Jericho, London and RVD (when he returns), everything else I just Fast Forward. Back in the days I used to watch 5 to 6 hours of wrestling per week and now it has gone down to 30/45 minutes of sports entertainment.

What would be the best creative team possible?
humongous2002 replied to Downhome's topic in The WWE Folder
I'll have Paul Heyman be the head of creative for both brands and then have 2 booking teams: RAW: Foley, Dreamer, Steamboat and Dibiase. SD: Cornette, Finlay, AA and the guy that's booking Velocity. -
The Attitude belt is the best one IMO and I would be a happy camper if WWE decides to bring it back to replace Cena's hideous custom made spinning belt.
