    Smackdown Spoilers

If the wave @ Summerslam last year, low ratings, low house show sales, low buyrates, the RVD chants @ No Way Out during the barbwire cage match and the fact that JBL is a talentless midcarder doesn't convince WWE management of how bad of an idea is to have Bradshaw as a "main eventer", then nothing will. The guy is being pushed down our throats b/c he has X-Pac heat.

    Smackdown plans for Summerslam

....... I can't do it. The joke is just too damn obvious. JBL is knocking it out of the park regularly with his promos. He's not just using cheap heat (though in the promo this past week had a few moments where he seemed to reach for it), the fans hate the character because he's completely full of himself. The whole "Wrestling GOD!" thing works because JBL thinks he's hot shit in the ring but the fans know that he's retained his title by the skin of his teeth almost every time. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> JBL sure knocks them out with his promos, if you hear "wrestling God" one more time you'll be knocked out too out of boredom. The guy is barely midcard material and WWE knows it, that's why every p.p.v. match JBL is on is either a streetfight or a gimmick match. The sad thing is that he is not even good at that either, but I'm glad that 5% of the wrestling fanbase are enjoying JBL's brand of "entertainment".

    Smackdown plans for Summerslam

JBL is not and will never be main event material, I know that, 93% of wrestling fans know that but Vince and WWE management don't realize that their little experiment with Bradshaw is literally driving the fans away. For crying out loud the guy's been getting X-Pac heat since he became the WWE champion, his "amazing mic skills" consist of him saying Wrestling God constantly and his in-ring skills are nonexistent.

    UPN Bans Hassan Permanently

Vince and JBL got lucky with the Nazi incident last year since it happened in another country and the U.S. media didn't give two shits about it, JBL went out of his way to get cheap heat since he wasn't (and still isn't) over as a heel and he got rewarded for it with a laughable long WWE title reign. Hassan on the other hand started as a frustrated Arab-American and turned into Al-qaeda on the Undertaker just for listening to the dumb writers since he is a rookie trying to get his feet wet in the big time. Hassan and JBL are not main event material IMO but at least Hassan was entertaining and the other still is the biggest joke in pro-wrestling history.

So when is RVD coming back?

Actually RVD was more over in 2001/2002 than Cena/Batista are right now just because at that time the WWF/E still had their huge top stars like Austin, HHH, Hogan and the Rock, and Rob was getting the same amount of pops as those top main eventers. This reminds of the time (early 2002) that the WWE had to edit (lowered) the sound of RVD's pops from live television because they didn't want him to upstage any of the top guys.

    UPN Bans Hassan Permanently

It was a combination of bad timing and bad taste for the WWE, Magnus will either be repackaged with a new gimmick or released after this. The Hassan character was more entertaining than a JBL or an Orton ,but he still needed to improve his wrestling skills big time.

So when is RVD coming back?

And the funny thing is that all the naysayers will jump onto the RVD bandwagon as soon as that happens.

    *Smackdown Spoilers*

Maybe Eddie and Benoit will do a "by the numbers" match just like they did @ ONS, that match dissapointed me so much because I was expecting a Wild Pegasus/Black Tiger type of match for ECW's last p.p.v.

So when is RVD coming back?

A lot of people don't realize how over is RVD, the guy has been buried time after time since december 2002 and he still gets decent pops (not as big as the pops he was getting back in 2001 and 2002). Of course it all depends if RVD gets a real world title push when he comes back instead of being dicked around by WWE "creative" bookers.

    *Smackdown Spoilers*

The unsuccessful and laughable one year JBL push will hopefully come to an end at GAB this sunday, the guy is just a midcarder comedy act for life and nobody can't take him seriously as a champion. Batista/Taker would make more sense and money for Summerslam this year than Hassan/Batista but I guess Taker is just not "feeling it" this year either.

    Planned Summerslam Card

I bet that either RVD/Dupree or XIAN/Book will headline Heat before the p.p.v.

    OAO Raw Thread (7/18/05)

No offense ChrisMWaters but you are going to look foolish with that "Deport Carlito" sign since Puerto Rico is part of the United States.

Velocity just aired here Benoit vs. Regal

Hopefully the Benoit/Regal match is the beginning trend for WWE's secondary shows, a 15 minutes main event with 2 very athletic wrestlers (it doesn't have to be a top guy it could be someone like London against Super crazy or Tajiri against Conway) going all out.
  14. humongous2002

    Edge or Cena?

Neither Cena or Edge deserve a world title reign because Cena's 15 minutes of fame is almost up (some fans are already booing the crap out of him and that will increase as long as Cena keeps on getting bad and lazy in the ring), now Edge deserved a World title reign back in december 2004 when he was way over as a frustrated heel but he has lost that main event aura after being jobbed out several times to HHH and now to Kane. The title should be given to heel HBK and let him drop it to RVD (that is if RVD gets built back up as a legit main eventer instead of getting stuck with the IC title as a midcarder w/o any aspirations), the guy is still over with the fans after all these years of being buried by WWE management.

    Why is Cena.....

I just don't get it, why is Jericho considered "cheap"? Is this like an actual "slang" word or it's just Cena trying too hard to come out with a new catchphrase and failing at it?

    Vengeance estimated buyrate

In my eyes ONS was the real winner since WWE didn't waste that much money in producing it, meanwhile Vengeance had the over the top production, the huge arena and the highly paid wrestlers.

    Rob Conway news

He went from one awful gimmick into another.

    House Show Report for Smackdown

God laughed so hard when he saw the Boogeyman's debut that he pissed on himself.
  19. humongous2002

    The Boogeyman

Only in the WWE where the jokes write themselves.

    Brock Lesnar Returning to WWE

Taker had great matches with RVD back in 2001 and 2002, and Brock's matches against Show are extremely overrated.
  21. humongous2002

    Why is Cena.....

In the real world choosing RVD as your main guy at this time would make a lot of sense, but in WWE's bizarro world they choose a stale green wrestler to be their flag bearer. Nothing against Cena since I do agree with the fact that he's over enough to be a short term champion, if he doesn't step it up to another level to be consider a long term champ then the fans will eventually turn on him .
  22. humongous2002

    OAO Raw Thread for 7/11/2005

I've seen OVW tapes and Shelton was a good wrestler but not as good as he is today, Lesnar was good enough to do a SSP but he sucked at everything else including talking on the mic, Orton was an ok wrestler as long as he was being carried by Dinsmore, Conway or Rico (who was more than ready to be called up to the big leagues), Cena sucked more than he does today and big DAVE was OVW's version of Goldberg. I guess Benjamin is the only one so far to be a good worker on OVW and WWE.

    The return of Matt Hardy!!!

WWE has finally taken their head out of their ass, the Matt/Lita/Edge feud is causing a lot of water cooler talk b/c it is something that is real and now everybody is going to profit from it. As long as they keep it more realistic by letting Matt, RVD, Jericho and even Carlito cut those shoot-like promos from the heart instead of spewing something that was written by a talentless "tv writer" w/o any wrestling experience.
  24. humongous2002

    These sick motherfuckers

Just look at Orton and JBL, two of the biggest failures in WWE history but they are still being pushed down our throats until we like it. It's not the first time they do this and it won't be the last.
  25. humongous2002

    Batista's title reign

Well we could all agree that he will last longer than Eddie's, Benoit's and Jericho's world title reigns.
