Val is a great underrated wrestler but just the fact that he's a jobber on Heat ruins any chance for the fans to take him seriously, one thing is having a new guy like Orton and turn him from Velocity jobber into IC champion (which it took WWE almost 2 years by bringing back Mick Foley to get him to this level) but to turn Venis a 6 year WWE veteran into a WWE championship contender will take years and it might not even work. SD needs main eventers right now, RVD is over enough to get a shot at the belt with a little push from WWE management, he still has his credibility even though he's been treated poorly by the writers and it will be better than having Bradshaw or Holly in the main event scene. RVD turning heel will work since there are already a few people that hate him already and it will freshen up his stale character.

Cena's been stale since the "motherfrickin' life" promo from the Royal Rumble ppv, that's what killed his edgy character. His "overness" won't last long if he keeps on doing his weak ass raps and his 2 and a half minutes squashes w/o any improvement on his wrestling skills.

Bringing in Sting is a waste of money and time, WWE has hungrier guys that are ready to be catapulted to the main event scene and are willing to give their bodies just to get a taste of championship gold. Sting's best years were in the late 80's, early 90's but now he is nothing more than another greedy old has-been of a wrestler. Booker should just finish out his contract with WWE, he has made a lot of money and he doesn't need to be disrespected by Vince and his racist ideas.

That's the main problem with WWE, their basic wrestling style, if they allowed the cruiserweights or for that matter SD superstars wrestle with freedom then more people would be more interested in watching the show. Let RAW keep their precious WWE style and have the other brand wrestle whichever way they want.

You are being close minded if you are saying that RVD's mic skills are worse than Benoit's, as much as I like him "the Crippler" can't cut a promo to save his life. RVD's promos in ECW were fun to watch all the time and let's not forget his funny skits with Austin back in 2001.

That's all RVD needs, a chance to shine at the top. If he bombs miserably then the anti-RVD smarks were right all along, but if he pulls it off and becomes a top draw (hey, you never know) then everybody is a winner since SD is in need of a top heel/draw.

HBK is overrated nowadays, he only has good matches with HHH,Benoit and Jericho(3 good workers), the proof is in his matches with Orton, even RVD and Edge had better matches with the wrestler formerly known as suckbag.

RVD was suppose to get the ECW title off from Awesome but he got injured, then he was to get it off from Justin Credible but he left the company to make a martial arts movie, then in WWE he was suppose to win the title from HHH but we all know that Trips refused to do the job, the guy must be jinxed because ECW and WWE management thought of him as world champion material and according to J.R. back in 2001 "a future main eventer" but that RVD bad luck never fails.

The only way for RVD to get a world title run at this point in his life is if he turns heel, he was great as a cocky heel and didn't look out of place while cutting a promo. Right now Eddie is the #1 babyface and it seems Cena is destined to take that spot soon, heel RVD as a world champion sounds better than JBL WWE champ.
