And in other news Osama Bin Laden will run for president of the United States.

I don't think they are,you do. Edit:(Some members wanted me to explain) Feud-2 or more wrestlers that battle and/or argue over something. Program-Something that shows up on electronics. <-That's what I consider this Kane/titantron. It could mean feud too because program does have more than 1 definition.I call it a program because of the titantron. This guy is a good example on why people shouldn't do crack.

Not me, i always thought Edge was always riding on the coattails of the Smackdown 5.If he is with the right wrestler he is easy to carry but if he is with someone like Atrain, then he is brutal.
-
Isn't UT on RAW now since he is feuding with Kane.
-
Meanwhile Smackdown is stuck w/o any star power, they better start trading some wrestlers b/c SD main event scene looks very thin.

This week's edition of Raw did a 3.8 cable rating, with a 6 share, according to Nielsen Media Research. That is up from last week's 3.7. The show did hours of 3.7 and 3.8. The highest rated segment of the show was the 4.2 that they did at 10 p.m. for the World Title contract signing angle. In other ratings news, WWE got a jolt from Sunday Night Heat, which did a 1.4 cable rating, with a 2 share. That is its highest number in almost a year. The 2/7 edition of Velocity did a 0.7 cable rating, with a 1 share. The 2/7 edition of Confidential did a 0.6 cable rating, with a 1 share. credit:PWInsider.com Mmmmm, wasn't RVD on Heat last sunday?

Lesnar Frustrated; Nowinski Getting Heat
humongous2002 replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
WWE will do just fine w/o Lesnar since he is not really a top draw after all, i haven't seen any increase of ppv buyrates,tv ratings or house show sales b/c of him.So he is not a top draw in my eyes -
Kanyon was still in WWE??All kidding aside the man is better off in NWA or Japan, WWE is not the fun place it use to be back when Austin was the #1 babyface.

Will Orton drop the IC belt before WM?
humongous2002 replied to Vern Gagne's topic in The WWE Folder
It'll make more sense if Orton drops the title b4 the Evolution break up just for storyline purposes, the IC lost will make him more paranoid, Orton will stop trusting his Evolution buddies specially HHH, accusing him of being kept down by him and then he turns on Trips. -
Great read,Hermie made some very good points about HHH and WWE, can't wait to read more.

... Sometimes you can just see the post that's going to take the thread off track right away. Damn right, all i want to know is what the hell is he smoking??B/C i want some of that shit.

WWE is just trying too hard to get this Heatless kid any type of fan reaction. He spits on Foley's face=no fan reaction. He starts calling Foley his bitch=no fan reaction WWE portrays him as a military deserter=the fans don't care Ambushes Foley backstage=fans still don't care Beats RVD and Book in an IC title match=The fans get up silently from their seats and start walking away by not giving a shit. It took a superkick to Benoit just to have the fans boo HBK, but with Orton they keep on trying and trying, but the fans are not buying it anymore.

WHAT ABOUT RVD? by Nathan Jaynes @ 10:59:49 AM on 2/9/2004 What about Rob Van Dam? With all the talk and hype heading into the biggest pay per view of the new Millennium WrestleMania XX there is one question that remains to be unanswered, What about Rob Van Dam? I've read several columns on the site regarding current and past stars and what their role in WrestleMania could and should be, and while I can't say I'm surprised I've read nothing of any sort on Mr. Monday Night Rob Van Dam. Rob Van Dam, who is a former ECW Television (with a 13 month reign no less) and Tag Team Champion, as well as a former WWF/E Hardcore, Intercontinental, and Tag Team Champion, is nowhere near the headlines on wrestling internet sites. Nor is he involved in any of the major (or filler for that matter) storylines and angles taking place to set up the huge WrestleMania XX card on WWE TV. While it is no secret that Rob was pushed down to Sunday Night Heat last year at WrestleMania XIX so that the Miller Lite Catfight Girls could have their spot on the show, we are heading into a WrestleMania that is going be 5 hours long and while there is enough time for an appearance by Rob. The question is: Will the WWE's front office and creative team give him a spot on the show? Rob Van Dam debuted with the WWF in June of 2001 on Monday Night RAW at the Georgia Dome in an angle where the WWF reunited a watered down version of Extreme Championship Wrestling in a attempt to save the then failing WWF vs. WCW Invasion angle. While many fans where thrilled with his debut, even comparing him to WWF legend “The Heartbreak Kid” Shawn Michaels and even proclaiming him the future of the World Wrestling Federation, not many within the company saw the same things in him as the legions of Rob's cult following ECW fans did. RVD main-evented the October 2001 pay per view No Mercy in a World Wrestling Federation in a three way Championship match against Kurt Angle and then Champion Stone Cold Steve Austin, and even though he lost the match, Rob bounce back. But, he would never be included in a "WWE Championship" (Although he did job to Triple H in a "World Title" match at the Unforgiven 2002 pay per view, but it was not a main-event match). And while Rob did see some early success in his very first couple of months within the company, that would soon change over time. The WWE decided that because of Rob's sometimes reckless in-ring work and his lack of promo skills "in their minds" that is, he was not a top guy within the company. So they gave him a couple of Intercontinental Title runs, and the match that probably sticks out a lot of in the minds of RVD fans is the main-event ladder match that Christian and he had in September of 2003 on RAW. After a few IC Title runs, there weren't a lot of positive things happening for RVD fans as the WWE had once again pushed him back down the card. But soon thereafter, the WWE creative team decided to align Rob with “The Big Red Machine,” Kane, in a relationship and team that, though it made no logical sense at all, got over with the fans. In fact RVD & Kane went on to win the World (RAW) Tag Team Titles. Then in the summer of 2003, WWE decided to break up the duo, strip Kane of his mask, and turn him heel. Rob became a big part of this scenario and they even worked him into a feud with Kane and the two were even given a main event/upper mid-card match on one of the WWE's biggest pay per view's of the year, "SummerSlam," in August of 2003. But after the match was over it was obvious that WWE had bigger and better plans for Kane, and once again they had nothing for RVD and for seemingly the 1,000,000th time they shoved him back down the card. While in the mean time Rob has appeared on several internet radio shows and has not been too shy about talking about his unhappiness with the direction the WWE has taken with him, he has been programmed in short term feuds with Randy Orton with Rob once again doing the J.O.B. to Orton. As all of the attention heading into WrestleMania XX seems to be on whether or not Goldberg re-signs with the company after Mania and whether or not Hulk Hogan and Bret Hart return for WM. Or even what impact Chris Jericho, Matt Hardy or Booker T will have on the big show. The question that has not been addressed is whether Rob will actually have a match on the card? Rob's contract with WWE runs up in June of this year and you can probably rest assured that if he doesn't have a match on the WrestleMania XX card, that Bill Goldberg may not be the only one out the door after Mania, because as Jim Ross says "the greatest wrestler to never hold a WWE World Title" could very well follow him. credit:PWInsider.com

WWE keeps on mistreating RVD and then they'll wonder why he won't renew his WWE contract.
-
RVD v. Matt in a Ladder match for the IC title will definitely do it for me, Orton hasn't elevated that title at all and RVD against Matt with a ladder equals a lot of crazy sick bumps.
-
Orton is just another waste of space from OVW, he will bomb at Mania but he will still get pushed down our throats b/c Paul McMahon wants his pet project to succeed. (I can't believe i wasted my 1000 post on the Crowd Killer.)

WWE House Show Results from Osaka, Japan 2-6-04 (B

Orton is GHEY, there i said it. -
If they use the Manhattan center, let Heyman handle the booking w/o HHH sticking his big ugly nose in it, bringing in new announcers, also hiring some indie guys like Low-ki,Red,SAT and even try to bring A.J. Styles(which it will be hard to do), let guys like RVD, Dreamer and even the Hurricane wrestle non-WWE style then we might have a winner as long as is different and not another WWE clone.

Austin In Favor Of New WWE In-Ring Style
humongous2002 replied to EdwardKnoxII's topic in The WWE Folder
Actually HBK will weasel his way into Mania's main event, overshadowing Benoit in the process. Meanwhile RVD will be left out of the show completely, the most over guy on RAW besides Goldberg hasn't had a feud or character development since the end of 2002. -
- RAW did a 3.7 rating with a 5.4 share, down from a 4.0 last week. The show did hours of 3.7 and 3.7, with the highest quarter hour (the overrun) doing a 4.0. Credit:PWinsider.com The Heatless wonder and the so-called #1 babyface can't get high ratings until Foley shows up for the overrun, but they will still get pushed down our throats.
-
In all fairness DH, the reason why the Hurricane push didn't work out is because they failed to book him correctly after he beat both Rock and Flair. In other words he was getting too over for his own good................damn Triple cHHHin.
-
Which they only devote to total suckbags and waste's of time. Sad but true, if WWE puts the same committment with this new brand as they do with shitbags like Orton and Batista, then we would have a winner just let Heyman book the whole show.
-
He had high ratings last week because it was the RAW after a ppv and Foley was in the main event promo.Orton on his own or with anybody else=low ratings, i hope this isn't too hard for you to understand.
-
I don't mind Rock making a few appearances here and there, but if Rock being at Mania means that somebody like Booker,RVD,TWGTT or Matt Hardy get stuck on Heat or not even appear at the biggest ppv of the year then WWE is again making a stupid decision.

Are they just giving an hour for this "ECW" brand or is Velocity getting canned like Confidential?
