As much as i want to see Benoit be the next world champion, his lack of mic skills makes him look like a midcarder for life. As long as WWE keeps Chris far away from the mic and just let his little ass wrestle he will do just fine. Mic skills or not, Benoit will be able to carry the ball w/o any problems, it's all up to Vince and Triple cHin to allow the man to get over.And i know that Cena,Jericho,Eddy and even RVD(like it or not) are more over with the fans than Benoit, but if Benoit succeds in becoming the champ this will (hopefully)open the doors for smaller guys like him, you know, the ones that are not suppose to be main event material.

Last I checked, a whole PPV gets a buyrate. I've never seen buyrates for single matches... People pay to see the main event, not the undercard.Whoever is main eventing should get the blame.

HHH hasn't been a draw since 2000, Goldberg hasn't been a draw since 1998 and Kane got killed by Shane.The fans are dying to see somebody new and by new i mean the hungry upper midcard veterans, not the green unover OVW rookies.

That's the thing RAW has plenty of babyface stars, but the bookers are refusing on pulling the trigger with their pushes, so they could be shot up to stardom.Jericho has just turned babyface and instead of booking him strong he gets to job to Mizark, a fat wrestler that the fans only remeber when he and Mae Young had a hand for a baby.Then we have RVD, fans are dying to see him get the big main event spot since 2001, they still pop for him big time even though he hasn't been in a real feud since he wrestled HHH at Unforgiven 2002(Rob was more of a supporting player to the ShaneO Mac/Kane feud of last year)and last but not least we have Booker T, he's been jobbed out so many times since he first joined the WWF that i'm amazed that the fans still pop for him.They are 3 popular guys, their only sin is being from either WCW or ECW and the fact that they are not over 6'4" and caucasian.

The thing is BPS that a lot of people in this forum are blinded by RVD hatred that they refuse to give Rob any credit, last monday's match was ok IMO, it was watchable for an Orton match.Rob made the rookie look good just like he did at Armageddon, these 2 have chemistry. And it shows that Rob could call and even carry a match every now and then with the proper motivation.
