Perhaps if they gave the women more than 1:27 (rough guess-timate) to strut their stuff, they could pace themselves better, tell a decent in-ring story, and not botch so many moves and hurt themselves. The ending was the only good thing about last night's match, and that was only because of Molly. Speaking of which, they really need to capitalize on Molly's momentum (what little there is anyway) and give her as much screen time as possible. She's easily the best one on the roster, and by showcasing her more and giving her more to do, that's the only way the rest of the women's division will get a chance to shine. Besides, she's only the Women's champ, no?

The problem I have with RAW right now is that I have almost nobody to care about doing anything remotely important or interesting. The top of the card is full of mediocre has-beens and never-weres except Jericho, and they've given him dick to do. Sure, his Highlight Reel is entertaining, but he's had nobody even remotely interesting on the segment that I care about. And they've misused all the midcard talent I used to like so much that I can't be bothered to watch their segments. I won't get into the announce team, as it's all been said before. The only characters even remotely appealing to me are the women who can actually wrestle. So unless you can fill an hour with just the ladies, I guess I'll keep watching RAW-FFWD, courtesy of VCR technology. That way I only waste about 20 minutes of my Monday nights rather than an entire two hours.

Jim Ross is scheduled to return to the Raw announcing booth soon, as soon as the August 11th edition of Raw. No one in WWE has been happy with the way Jonathan Coachman has been handling play by play duties on Raw. Vince McMahon was said to be quite upset, and has been yelling in the headsets of Coachman and Jerry Lawler in attempts to fire him up. credit: Pro Wrestling Torch Newsletter -- Well it's about damn time. I've yet to see Coach pay attention to a match besides saying "... and Spike Dudley goes for a cover... and he gets a two-count..." between talking about anything else but the match. He's corny, un-hip, talentless, and embarassing to listen to. Golf announcers probably beat him up at broadcasting school.

Agreed on all points. The best thing that ever happened to Josh was loving TE. He can go so much further behind the booth than in the ring. I also have no love for Tenay. His voice quality doesn't have that prime time feel to it. Granted, he's light years ahead of Coach, but that's not really saying much, is it?

Check your TV listings. It might be on Saturday night. Saturday Night, 09 August, 8:00 PM EST on UPN. Sounds like it was a really solid show. Although I still have my reservations about Noble and Billy Gunn teaming up. Whatever happened to the cruiserweight division? I guess it's now officially the cruiserweight/tag division, no?
