Slow burn = never ending story = chapter that was a complete waste of time and total fluff = boring. The only reason why a ref would even develop a character would be to turn heel screw the good guy and/or turn into a manager. Let me put it this way, Slick = Kent from Real Genius, wants to pretend that he is the boss but he is nothing but an asskisser that nobody respects.....the pecking order is god, cornette, zybrisco, slick, dry cleaning. This is a total waste of time the only out would be for him to screw over Jarrett costing him the belt then have Cornette "fire" him and somehow have Slick return as the personal trainer for Nash and the Paparazzi. But then again Slick's acting ability is at public access levels so it would be as exciting as watching Larry Zybrisko do a used car commercial. As for Zybrisko in the never ending screw Raven over and always take Jarrett's directions cause I am his bitch saga who cares what happens to him. Seems like this damn this will forever be on hiatus because somebody got hurt or got knocked up or the writers sobered up or they decided it was pointless so they dropped it all together. Larry Zybrisko was never believable as the GM and when they brought in Cornette they should of "fired" and removed him from tv all together.

Overall Impact was a decent show with the usual X division goodness which only got better this week with a little bit of psychology in the match. Jay Lethal was on fire with his offense taking everybody out with the high risk moves then he went to the well one too many times with the diving headbutt and fell victem to the CANADAN DESTROYER giving Petey Williams the win. I'm guessing that they will play this up to Jay Lethal being only 20 years old and he has much to learn for storyline purposes. The rest of the show was all about furthering current storylines of Christian/Sting/Jarrett/Steiner with Christian/Steiner setup for next week for the right to be at ringside at the PPV. Shane Douglas did his usual speil of Franchising the Naturals now they are wearing his colors of yellow and black instead of pink. The match against AMW was no different than the other 40989043 times they faced each other but this time it has a backstory. Larry Zybrisco and Jim Cornette did the usual GM speeches but this time Larry had a wig!!! Again I ask why the hell is Larry on tv there is no need for 2 figureheads on tv just have Cornette show up once a month to setup the PPVs. The show ended with Christian and Steiner arguing over who is the better sidekick.

It's the same deal with every MMA match that ends early the ref stopped it prematurely the 5 count was just the pro wrestling spin on it.

The ECW fans boo, or should I say hate to the extreme, the heels well in this case anybody who represents the WWE brand and cheer, or should I say Markout like lil girls, to anybody remotely representing ECW. Its a passionate fanbase what else do you want?

The one thing that I dislike about MMA crossing over to pro wrestling is the ref stoppage of a fight from strikes. The first match that made say WTF that's it thats the end of the fight you got to be kidding who the hell booked this crap was from NWA 53rd Anniversary Show World Heavyweight Championship match of Steve Corino vs Shinya Hashimoto where the ref stopped the match because Hashimoto would'nt stop stomping/kicking Corino in the corner. This finish continued to piss me off when it was copied for Edge vs Matt Hardy and the recent Great American Bash 2006 match of Mr. Kennedy vs Batista. The GAB match was the worst one because the stomps/kicks by Batista looked like a typical stalling move that everybody from Nash to every generic big man in the wrestling business does on a regular basis! The only time that it was somewhat believable was the Samoa Joe vs Christopher Daniels match from TNA Final Resolution 2006 but that was only because of the vicious elbow strikes Joe was doing and it fit into the storyline at the time of Joe wanting to draw blood the hardway. But in general I think MMA influence into pro wrestling is a good thing maybe now armbars, headlocks, etc., will have more meaning and the end of the boring rest spots. Maybe instead of the wrestlers going for the headlock and taking a nap for 2 or 3 minutes spot will end and maybe they can go back to doing matwork like the old school NWA days of the 80's where chain wrestling, counters, and near falls came out of the headlock and armbar spots. If strikes is to be a finisher in pro wrestling then it has to be something flashy and can come out of nowhere like a Flying Muai Thai Knee. I sure as hell don't want to see anything like Tank Abbot in WCW where one punch and only one punch would KO the opponet.

This is good news now Sharkboy can be on tv every week! And the X division can be more than just random gauntlet matches every 2 weeks or so. It would be a miracle if they are able to give A1 some character development....poor guy....everybody else in Team Canada are have characters but him. Petey Williams has the Canadian Destroyer, Eric Young is paranoid, Devine is with Papparazzi, and Bobby Roode is going to try to emulate Rick Rude.

Yup the evil promoters of TNA are going to make Frankie Karzarian look like crap on tv for a few months so he can't make any extra money on the indy circuit.
