The problem with Angle working the technical style is that he is the only person in ECW that can work that style while everybody else are garbage or WWE style wrestlers. They are going to have to bring in at least 2 more technical wrestlers from ROH or OVW for Kurt Angle matches to look good. Even if they go with the clash of styles booking they still have to find decent to credible luchadors or japanese wrestlers to challenge Angle. Right now Kurt Angle vs guy with cane or cookie sheet is'nt going to cut it.

Remember the NWA days when they had Johnny Ace waving the New Zealand flag or the CWF days when they were heels? Brad Armstrong & Tim Horner? WCW did their best at trying to get the Armstrong Brothers over on tv too bad it never lasted. I think Steve Armstrong was part of Wild Eyed Southern Boys and Young Gunns in the early 90's then came back to work with brother Scott on the syndaticaded show WCW Worldwide in the late 90's. I was always a fan of theirs even though the whole curse angle made for some bad tv but at least Larry Zybrisco had something to say other than "This is a game of human chess".

If this is going to be done WWE style the division will consist of Doring & Roadkill and two other teams so who will be the lucky 4 random wrestlers to be paired up to work the "extreme" style? Hey now it has to be better than the legend vs rookie crap that has been booked for the past 6 years. This "dream match" if you will can be great or it can be a total stinker but who cares the promos building up to it will be some of the greatest debates in the history of WWE. The only thing missing would be Armando Alejandro Estrada doing the play-by-play or acting as the special ref. This is the type of match that belongs on ECW on Sci-Fi show. That Holy Shit moment would be Flair going to the top and hitting the flying cross bodyblock for the pin on a table or thumbtacks. I can see Flair and Foley do the old school NWA headlock, armbar, hammerlock, headscissors weardown spots for psychology. Maybe JR can tell some backstory from his days working in WCW but then that might be asking too much from the unmotivated JR that has been working monday nights.

Sounds like Styles is already pissed and decides to shoot on his own show...lol. It's missing the classic lines of "Yeah you'll see that on Monday Night next week" and "Nova invented the Zombie gimmick" ECW needs Jericho, Foley, Funk, the luchadors, and whatever japanese wrestlers they can find.

Its gonna suck if The Ultimate Hogan Collection and The History of the WWE Championship double dip on the Hogan matches. I would of put Savage vs Dibiase match from WM4 instead of the Savage vs Hogan match on the History video and saved the Savage/Hogan match for the Ultimate Collection.

I don't remember the exact match listing but a while back there was a feature on WWE.com where you could actually vote on which matches would appear on this 3-disc (IIRC) set. There wasn't a whole lot of those rare, hard to find matches, but it was a decent selection. And it went as far back as Sammartino and Backlund, so it could be an interesting set. "Rare" MSG matches and WWWF footage would be nice but I have a feeling it will be full of Hogan and HHH matches.
