Never liked Ben as an actor in the 1st place, so I am indifferent to his personal and professional problems. As for Cold Mountain will it looked like all of the hype on the late night talk shows and Discovery Channel paid off.

I liked the movie but disliked the last 30 minutes or so which focused too much on the Nick Nolte character of the mad scientist. Overall the movie was good but I would edit out the final fight and happy ending scenes. I would rather have Banner hitch hiking on a rural road rather than the actual ending.
