Mizzou looked like they just didn't care in the first half, then Maclin returned a punt for a TD and momentum swung. Damn he's fast.

Being an Eagles fan in a state full of Cowboys fans makes this day so much better. I'm beside myself.

TUF 8. Dude was a total cocky dick the whole show.
-
Rashad's gotta have some fucking dynamite in his hands or something. The dude always seems to knock the fuck out of people when he lands right. As for Mir, he does deserve credit. I still hate the cocky bastard though and hope Lesnar eats him for lunch. Anyone that sings the praises of Kaplan that much needs to be dealt with.

The Car Care Bowl was awesome. I loved it. I love watching Pat White play football (except in last years fiesta bowl of course).

Well we've been together for 3 years, so it really wasn't that new. So tell us, Dama, how does that old and tired vagina smell? seriously, congrats Thanks you all. I try not to sniff it. Haha. I'm hesitant to post a wedding photo since I don't know what photoshops or criticisms I open myself to. But I will go ahead and do it: That coat makes me look huge! Here's another: And lastly: One of my rugby teammates (not pictured) deflected the garter b/c he didn't want to catch it and the dude in the hat picked it up. Guess he gets to marry his freaky looking girlfriend.

The chapel was working off a 56k. It would've been laggy as hell.

Well I guess the Celtics had a bit of a hangover after that game in LA, they're about to lose to the Warriors.

oh God here we go again Oh god, you know what Penguin? Why don't you kiss my ass? I'm tired of everytime I make a post you've got a snide comment in response to it or some sort of doom prophecy. It's getting old dude. Just stop. Seriously stop. I apologize to everyone else for my outburst, this guy has just been picking at me for the past 2 months and I've tried to ignore it, but there's only so much you can take even when you're being on your best behavior. On to other news. Wow, the Thunder almost beat the Pistons. Of course they're still 3-27 and have had many close games throughout the season, so who even cares?
-
Damn, Bill Walton and Jalen Rose were acting like the Lakers just won the NBA title and proved they were definitively better than the Celtics. If I remember right the finals went 6 games and they split the season series last year. So it's not like the Lakers haven't beaten the Celtics in forever or anything.
-
Who's putting stock in the win? I was just commenting that ND finally won a bowl game.
-
Fucking Lakers. I don't mind Kobe, Fisher, Odom or anyone else really except for those two fucking euro-pussies Gasol and Vujacic. I just can't stand those guys.
-
Did Notre Dame seriously just win a bowl game?

The Things That Anger You Thread.

This plays through my head everyday when my manager says "Keep saying yes! Book every deal!" and I say "But......we don't have that many cars. I can't book every deal." And he says "Just book!" Then I have that awkward moment with the customer where they're wondering why their reservation isn't being honored. -
Well today sucked. I don't think I predicted any game correctly. Fucking Eagles had to go and lose again. I hate that they do this. They are fucking embarrassing early in the season against some bad teams and you think "Wow this team is horrible, at least we'll get a top 10 draft pick". But then they go and run off a few wins and you're suddenly like "We're getting hot! Maybe we'll make some noise in the playoffs!" Then they fuck it up and it's suddenly like "Well not only did you just miss out on the playoffs but you won't be getting a high draft pick either. Welcome to mediocrity Eagles!" Fuck. If the Romo's win next week do they go to the playoffs? That'd be even worse, the Eagles lose and the Cowgirls make it to the playoffs at their expense. Ugh. And what was up with Adrian Peterson? He turned into his college running mate Alan Patrick and decided to fumble every 5 snaps.
-
Hahaha. That was awesome. I loved that look on Wade Phillips face. I said to my mom "The Ravens keep trying to run the clock out, but they can't! They keep scoring instead!" Now if only it was that easy for everyone!

Wow, too many bowls. I really wish the qualifying criteria was changed to 7-5 and not 6-6 though. I think it kind of sucks you put a .500 team in a bowl and then if they lose they're sub-.500. A sub-.500 team doesn't belong in a bowl. So ESPN had this debate earlier about whether the Heisman voting was fair or not. Apparently they thought Tebow was shafted for getting the most first place votes and not winning. I swear, they'll look for any bit of controversy to jump on and make something about. Any one of the three winning would've been completely fair. Oh....nice job Spiders.
-
What do you know, the Thunder won a game. Amazing. Haha. Nice to see Lebron James can still commit offensive fouls and get away with it.

Alabama gets the chance to pound another ACC team going into next season. It'd be cool if this was the first game of the season though. I remember when USC and Va Tech kicked off the season a few years ago. That was awesome and each Thursday night game has been progressively crappier each season since.

OU loses another for the BCS title game. Luckily this one is just a backup DT who only has 20 tackles on the season. He started the season as a starter but got hurt against Cincy and hasn't really played reguarly since then. But, this game is starting to shape up like the Fiesta Bowl last year where OU is missing half the team.
-
He does that every year. But he apologized for it this year because he got a ton of heat for it around here.
-
I remember Stoops being mentioned about 3,700 times during the KSU game they lost by 28. It was a distraction. You're right about the bowl game, and OU played better in that one (lost by 10 I believe) They lost by 7 and held LSU without a first down in the second half, but Stoops didn't call either game.
-
Stoops didn't stay on for either of those games.

Well, it's not like Oklahoma lost the threat of the run. Chris Brown is their leading rusher and their TD leader. So it's not like they lost their one and only running back. They did lose that "Is he going to run or catch it?" threat, but Brown has been a pretty capable receiver in the past. So we'll see what happens. Games still 3 weeks away, people could get hurt in practices or suspended or whatever. You never know. For all we know OU's entire offensive line could get into a barroom brawl the night before the game and spend the next day in jail.
