OU has a shooter.....his name is Michael Neal. The only problem is that he's hot/cold and everyone knows he's OU's only shooter.

Yeah that was an accident. You act like they're going to yank a KU player off the rim during a dunk and break his arm. It does come across as stupid hate when you bad mouth the Big XII like that about being shitty and what not. Yes they aren't as good as some of the other big conferences but they're not shitty. Just down. And if they are shitty then the Pac 10 is the worst piece of shit on the planet b/c it's worse than the Big XII.

Most of the Big XII teams got better as the season went along. Like Kansas. They were young and once they figured it out they got better. Someone to the hospital? That's just stupid hate. And Texas is good but I think they've already played their best basketball. They got killed by Duke then they started playing well and beat Nova and Memphis but towards the end of the season they tapered off and who knows which Texas team will come to the tourney.

Heh... and I thought *I* was the huge LSU mark. I only have them losing in the Final Four to Kansas. I have them beating KU in the final four.

Yeah since there's no newspaper during spring break I'm just going to be a library nazi the entire break. But there isn't anybody to bully in the library so I'm just playing games on my laptop all spring break.

It's weird how you can feel these brackets out and then get a result where you're like "what the hell?" I filled my bracket out and had the NC game as Boston College over LSU. I was like "What?" So I went back and played with some things and now I have Nova over LSU in the national title game.

Well hopefully Oral Roberts does something. Someone has to rep this damn state.

Sampson pisses me off. All he does is make dumbass excuses. You should've seen him after the WVU game. He acted like they had ambushed him and come out of nowhere. According to my other writer(i couldn't make it to the big 12 tourney b/c of softball) he acted the same way after they lost to nebraska. Like the other team had just snuck up out of nowhere! I can just see Sampson now "Who were those bums? I didn't even know they had b-ball in Nebraska! Hey how about giving the Sooners a little credit!?" He seriously says that all the fucking time. Anytime someone says anything that he perceives as a slight against his team he automatically gets defensive and goes on about how great the other team is and then he demands we give him credit.

I called the whole team lucky in a column I wrote(before the Texas game but after the four straight one point games) and I said it'd all catch up with them(wow what a shock it did) and their sports information director emailed me and ripped me apart for *shock* daring to speak ill of OU in the student paper!

You're the least loyal fan ever. You're picking a 6/11 upset against your own team!?! I don't even go to Montana, but just because I'm living in the same town right now, I'm picking them for the 5/12 upset over Nevada. The most disloyal thing I ever did was pick Texas over WSU in my bowl pool when I was going there. The result? It completely ruined the game, and I ended up losing anyway when the Cougs stomped the Longhorns. For the record, I was shocked that Montana even got a 12 seed. I don't know if it's "western bias" as Leena said, but no one around here expected them to get better than a 14, with a 15 being considered a distinct possibility. As for my other 1st round upsets, I've got: Xavier over Gonzaga Iona over LSU UWM over Oklahoma 7/10 games don't count as upsets, so I'm not going to bother to mention them. Plus I'm the second beat writer on the team which means I have to be unbiased. It has nothing to do with loyalty just business. If I write a column against OU or sit there at the media table stone faced(which i do b/c you can't cheer) then how is that disloyal? It's called doing my job. I don't care how loyal you are to a school if you know they're going to lose then you call it. If you go to Rice you don't pick them to beat Texas in football when they play every year.

How is it an upset if everyone is picking it?

If everyone picks UWM over OU then it's not an upset. They were even saying it wasn't an upset on ESPN Radio last night.

OU's women get a 2 seed after going undefeated in conference and winning the conference tournament? Bullshit. It was bullshit enough that Sophia Young got player of the year in the Big XII over Courtney Paris.

Must resist picking OU because everyone is picking against them........better judgement says they will lose.......must pick UWM........

What is with the mid-major love fest anyway? You put most of these teams in the Pac 10, Big 12, Big East, ACC, SEC, and Big Ten and they're not in the tournament or they're a bubble team fighting to get in.

Dickie V picks Duke and UConn as the national title game. He picked UConn to win but I know it was killing him inside to do so. I bet in his head he thinks Duke will blow through the tournament and then challenge the rest of the teams they didn't play just to prove their dominance. [Dickie V mode/] DUKE BABIEEEEE~!~!~!~!~! I just saw the Sebastian Telfair "movie" on ESPN. He's obviously not doing good in the NBA. What does everyone think of him and all the hype he got? Should he have gone to college?

Whoa I just read Kingofthe909's post. Zaga in the national title game? Where can I buy what you're smoking? And I missed the CBS show. What exactly happened? And what were Zaga and Penn's reactions?

Well I only rooted for them in football season b/c I wanted USC to lose. But now that's worn off and I realized that Texas won the national title. Fuck. And if they win it in basketball it's going to suck ass. Texas hats are popping up all over Oklahoma. It's like they've replaced all the bandwagon OU and OSU fans. Insanity. So yeah I wouldn't want them to win. On one hand it'd be cool to see a team win the national title in the same sport in the same year....but not Texas. I still think Kansas will go farther than them. While KU is young they are very talented and playing really well now.

If.......IF OU somehow wins in the first round then they will take a second round exit to Florida.

Why does everyone here hate Texas so much? Not saying I'm supporting them. I think Kansas will be the farthest Big XII team in the tournament.

There's a mexican restaraunt close by my house that I always eat at. It's really really good food but always shitty service. So I know I won't have to tip if I go eat there b/c I will have terrible service.

Sports are dominated by Texas? Texas Western is the only team from Texas to win the national title in basketball.
