True. But then again the game against OU at Arrowhead was considered a home game. That game I watched right after the awesome USC/ND game and it featured the worst offensive performance of the year by both teams. I thought I was going to cry or fall asleep while I was watching it.

I just wonder where the hell that offense for Kansas was during the season. They were pretty damn good last night but they were awful in Big XII play.

The Big XII is not good in basketball but it's never exactly been a strong b-ball conference. I mean it's usually Kansas and every now and then Texas and OU and recently OSU. Every team in the conference is young and OU's problem is that they can't figure out how to score and they really don't get the ball to Bookout and Gray enough.

I don't think anyone here goes below the speed limit in the fast lane or even the speed limit. It's just that there are people on the road that feel that no matter how fast you are going they have to go faster even if you are breaking the sound barrier.

I just said I'm generally going 10 to 15 over. Just because some asshole in a rice burner wants to show off how fast his piece of shit Honda is doesn't mean that I have to go flying down the highway like a man with a death wish.

Usually I'll be going about 10 or 15 over and I'll get some asshole tailgater. I either tap my breaks, or if it's a one-lane city street I slow down to about 10 under and idle my way along. If it's a two lane highway and they just won't back off I get to going about the same speed as the slowest car in the lane next to me and keep pace with that car so that there is no way they can pass. It gets kind of funny when it freaks the people next to you out.

Saw it last night and thought it was a great movie. I loved Kong busting out the move-set on the T-Rexes.

I liked the Mr. Burns/Grandpa Simpson island plot. A lot of it made me laugh out loud. The steroid Peter was one of the funniest things I'd seen on that show in a while.

Ok so here's the story. When I was a little kid I took Tae Kwon Do. It was alright but I can admit that I didn't learn a damn thing and I think I would've gotten my ass whipped if I ever tried to use it in a fight. So fast forward to a couple of years ago and I decide to take up kick-boxing. I have a couple of lessons and then I lose my job. And since all fighting forms are expensive as hell to take I can't do it anymore. Fast forward to this semester. OU offers Judo as a class for credit. So I decide to take it and man this is the most fun out of all of them. I love to wrestle already and that's basically what Judo is. So the other day I'm doing interviews for a story I'm writing on OU students performing in MMA competitions. I go to this place just up the street from my house called "USA Stars". They teach Judo, Kickboxing, Boxing, Olympic Weightlifting, Jiu-Jitsu, and something called Filipino Fighting Arts. After I get done with the interview I begin talking to the head trainer, Patrick Burris. Turns out he is a 5 time world champion and he's coached olympic Judo teams. Well he finds out that I'm taking Judo at school and tells me that he wants me to come up and workout with his Judo group. He told me he'll get me in better shape, teach me a hard style of Judo, and he won't charge me for a while. Then after that it's 60 bucks a month and you can use the gym at will and learn ANY of the fighting arts they teach. All for that flat fee. He says that the reason he does it that way is b/c he's not in it for profit. Which we know he is but obviously not like some other gyms that'll charge you for each sport. Anyway I'm excited about getting started on Tuesday night because I love Judo and this should be fun(yet painful). So who else here studies martial arts and wants to share their experience?

Me and my friends have been going to Blockbuster and renting UFC every night this week and I've finally discovered some fighters I really really like: Chuck, Randy, Evan Tanner, and Matt Hughes. I've also discovered that I really really dislike Nick Diaz.

So during TUF it wouldn't have been a contest if those guys tried to fight Chuck or Randy? What about this point in all of their careers? Still no chance? And Forrest retired befor TUF right?

Didn't South Park have an episode where the kids played Dodgeball and went to like some world championships to play? I don't remember anybody accusing the movie Dodgeball of ripping off the idea of Dodgeball as a legit sport from South Park. What's this Rebound movie?
