Well I never really said I cared about his growth. I don't think the guy is a legit fighter right now. I think every single heavyweight in the UFC (even the bad ones) could eat him for lunch. I guess I just see the UFC as more legit than XC right now. They have better fighters, better fights and they're run better.

I don't like Shaw at all. Kimbo being beaten on national television by a can after being hyped to the moon would be a huge blow to the Shaw. I don't mind Kimbo as a person. When I hear him talk he actually sounds very humble. But, I don't agree with the position Shaw has put him in and the only way to end that is for him to get beat in humiliating fashion.

It's kind of easy to hate on Kimbo seems how he's a sideshow attraction that has no business being the main draw on an MMA show.

Well I have failed at the eating every few hours thing. I'm still stuck in the "eat a meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner" mindset. I just can't seem to break myself of it. Ugh. And taking a road trip makes it kind of hard to maintain that too. My eating has always been my biggest stumbling block to getting in shape, and it continues to be. Then again I guess it is for most people.

So I hear oil prices dropped, but gas prices keep going up. Wasn't that one of their big excuses? They had to raise gas prices to combat rising oil prices?

If anything he's being straight up and doesn't take shit from anyone, especially from little punks like Jeremy May. Him and Amir were both all class before their fight and didn't talk shit to anyone. If anything it's the other fighters in the house and the coaches who are talking about how tough Matt Brown is. Did I say he said he was tough? I think your last sentence pretty much hit what I was saying. Maybe the guy is, actually, well you know... Tough? Did you even see his fight with Amir? I didn't like when I saw Matt Brown walking around the house looking all angry trying to look tough and then everyone else started talking him up. Mainly because I was like "Yeah he's tough compared to me or these yahoos on the show, but in the UFC he'd probably get stomped by most of the MW's." I guess I just don't buy any of these guys on the show or any shit they talk because I think they'd get beaten down in a real UFC fight with someone with a real fight record. And why is being a hater such a bad thing? I hate, so what? It's thereapeutic to hate.

I thought he looked decent. He looked pretty strong to me and that was a pretty devastating shot(albeit to the back of the head) that maybe his opponent go stiff.

That smoked EliteXC in every way possible. It had EliteXC rolled up, in a bong, in a spoon and in a tin-foil pipe. Hell it baked EliteXC into brownies and ate it. If Pulver was more aggressive he might've been able to beat Faber. He had him rocked like twice and then he'd back off or smile at him.

Monster success with those ratings. If Elite can hold ground or gain with their next special, then the entire dynamic in the US MMA scene changes. You mean towards B-level to bad fighters and an overhyped sideshow that can't fight anyone but cans? Man I can't wait for that dynamic. I don't think they overtake UFC. Sooner or later Kimbo will be exposed (probably in embarassing fashion) and the hype will die and UFC will still be there with real fighters.

I think that would be fine. Then they could have a message under the pictures that says "Try and try again, but you'll probably never beat this man. You'd better hope someone else wins the title on a fluke, because then maybe you'd have a chance." Or simply "No matter how hard you train this guy will still embarass you."

I think any heavyweight in the UFC (even the worst ones) would completely wreck Kimbo after what I saw tonight. I mean WRECK him. I haven't seen the dregs of MMA. I've seen UFC, I've seen PRIDE, I've seen WEC, I've seen local stuff and I've seen random small shows that come on DVDs. This was by far the worst MMA show I think I've watched. I'm pretty much on with Tigeraid. I don't think the fights were fixed or anything. I don't agree with him on that. But the rest seemed about right to me. Yeah she had a large mouse under her eye, but I guarantee if that was a men's fight it would've kept going. Smith didn't get his 5 minutes and that was complete bullshit. And the Kimbo fight, that was just fucking absurd. He sucks. End of story. Dana White had to be laughing his ass off watching this shit.

I'm not doubting some guys overdo it, I'm just saying most guys do it at one time or another. Hey look at that, the Celtics are going to the Finals. My heart says Celtics, my head says Lakers. For betting purposes we go to with our heads, but since I'm not a gambling man I'll be rooting hard for the Celtics. So the Celtics have one more all time title than the Lakers right? Isn't it like 16 to 15? So the Celtics can either extend or get tied up with the Lakers.

So how much is everyone paying for this book? I want to get it, but everyone says it's a "quick read" and I'm not really wanting to pay 30 bucks for a quick read.

Now his status says "Kellen is....MVP....Western Conf. Champs.....what's next? Bring it on, we're ready!" This has gotta be the worst kind of bandwagon fan there is. Then there's the people that are geographically spread out. I don't mind it if you like a team that's far away from you. Lord knows I do, if I rooted for teams geographically close I'd be a Cowboys fan (blech). But at least my teams are in the same area. I like two Boston teams and then the Eagles. But I know this dude that likes the Lakers, Colts and Cubs. He only declares his allegiance for the previous two when they are winning. I didn't even know he liked the Colts until they won the Super Bowl, and I just found out the other day he was a Lakers fan. Hmmm, curious.

I think if you're freakishly tall and wear warm-ups you may be mistaken for a basketball player, maybe, if you pick a USBL team or something. I always get mistaken for an ex-football player because I'm so tall and broad. I was wearing an OU shirt at the factory the other day and some dude asked me if I played for them. I've been around D-1 players (not just from OU) and they all dwarf me by comparison.

I still feel like I did after every finale, more questions than answers. I hope I'm not sitting here like this after the season finale.

I'm glad Mr. Intense lost. If I had to hear about how tough and mad he is one more time...... I kind of liked it when guys would go home after they lost. I think it allowed us to get to know the fighters that were left a whole lot better. Now they kind of get lost in the shuffle and you have douchebags like Jeremy May who really have nothing left to fight for causing problems and trying to get fighters thrown off the show. Or you have technical street fights...
