Hmmm......I've been doing 3x8 for a while now. I was talking in that PX90 thread about muscle confusion. Maybe just changing the weight and doing the pyramid for strenght will shock my body into doing something different. Now how does the pyramid usually go? The weight gets progressively higher as you go down?

I'll believe that when I see it. The home teams have performed exceptionally well this postseason, especially Boston. Celtics will get the benefit of some calls they didn't tonight under the basket and should win it, even if it's close. I think they win going away though.

Are they going to bring back the 1-AA schools? None of this "1-AA East" or whatever it was. Also I hope recruiting is easier. Not that it was hard before, it just took waaaaay too long.

I think everyone knew Mayo was dirty coming in, and showing what he produced this season he doesn't appear to have been worth the risk.

I have no idea. They just disappear on the road. They should win game 5, and then I hope they win game 6. The Cavs other players disappear in Boston and Lebron was held down for the first three games of the series and might be in Boston again. I'm confident they can win a game 5 and 7 in Boston, but I'd rather it not go to 7.

And they continue to take stupid jump shots and let the Cavs start shooting 3's. Then they let Lebron dunk it so I can hear the colour guy blow him. Damn Celtics. You'd better win by like 20 points in game 5 and then win game 6. I'm tired of the Cavs.

It'd also be great if the Celtics would stop shooting jump shots and try to make something happen at the rim.

It'd be great if the Celtics could get a call here in the fourth quarter. Oh well, win the home games and they win the title. They don't actually have to win a game on the road. That's a lot of pressure to have to do that though.

Because the home teams have been pretty damn good in the playoffs this season. Even Phoenix managed to get a blowout win at home. Boston has proven they're a totally different team between home and on the road. Until someone beats them at home and proves they can be beaten at home then I will believe it. But, they have played like Jekyll and Hyde on the road and at home. Then again they didn't play too bad on the road in game 3. If the Cavs hadn't gotten out of this world contributions from people that don't usually give them then they would've lost pretty badly.

How? The Cavs haven't proved they can win in Boston and Boston has looked damn good at home. If Boston wins here then they win in 5 since they've done so well at home. If Cleveland wins then we'll have to make that determination after seeing their performance in Game 5. I think Game 5 is obviously the more pivotal game for Cleveland. If the Celtics can keep holding Lebron down they should be able to win. Those other guys aren't going to perform like they did in game 3 every game.

There is no magical device, teams just play better at home when they're energized by their home crowd. Plus, officiating can be influenced in front of the home crowd. I just see LA winning at home. I don't see Utah beating them in LA, unless Bryant is hurt or shaken up badly, then it's anyone's series. But, to completely discount home court is kind of silly. Its a home court advantage but I don't see how anyone can't fathom someone losing at home. Crowd, blah blah blah, at the end of the day its basketball. I am not undervaluing the difference between sleeping in your own bed and sleeping in a hotel, but I think you are putting way too much stock into someone playing at home. I think I'm putting stock into the fact that I think the Lakers are very good.

I've been commenting on my fitness regiment over in the sports folder, but I wanted to ask about muscle confusion. The reason I do the lifts I do is because I'm comfortable doing them and I know I can do them. Doing other lifts kind of worries me or makes me think I'm not going to be able to perform them as well. Or is this not what muscle confusion is all about? Is it about trying a totally different workout routine aside from just different lifts?

He really seemed like that injury or bruise or whatever he got was bugging him in OT. The guy didn't get any elevation when AK blocked him in OT. If it's just a little bump and he's fine (which i expect it is) then I don't see how the Jazz can win this series. I just don't see them winning a game in LA. But, they can maybe stretch it to 7.

I've decided the sensor bar on my Wii is just too damn unsturdy. That thing's constantly getting caught and falling behind the TV cabinet. Damn thin cable.

Yeah, I was thinking that too. But, I was shocked he was still virtually held down offensively in game 3. That gave me a bit of hope the Celtics could hold him at least in Boston in Games 5 and possibly 7. I think he may end up going off in a game 4 or 6 though.

Well hopefully Lebron's shooting woes continue and the rest of the Cavs don't play so well. If West and the rest of those guys hadn't stepped up they would be down 3-0. And those guys haven't proven they can step up in every game. So we'll see, even if Boston doesn't win on the road I just don't see them losing at home to the Cavs.

Well I knew the Cavs would make a huge charge in game 3 and probably 4. The Celtics just need to weather this, try to come out strong in game 4 and kick ass in game 5. The Cavs other players (aside from Big Z) haven't shown they can consistently play at this high a level.

People just need to watch game film from his games with the Packers. They stopped him cold both times.

Umm, Raiders? I'm aware of my omission. This is the year they turn it around, mark my words. I'm aware that you're also football retarded. You're shitting me if you think the Vikings will finish with a better record than the Packers next year. Favre retiring may be a blessing in disguise, for all we know, and this team was a field goal kick away from the Super Bowl last season. And besides Purple Jesus what do the Vikes really have on offense? I mean until Jackson proves he can do something they'll stack the box to stop Peterson from game one.

So you're saying I'm doing too many reps of the same weight? 165 isn't my max, it's just what I can get up comfortably without a spotter. I'll give that a shot though, I have no clue what my max is actually. I didn't know 3x8 was high reps though, I thought around 12 is where you got into high reps.

Remember Claire's weird ass dream from like season one or two where Locke was awake in the jungle at some like desk? I'm beginning to wonder if that has anything to do with anything now. It would be just like this show to harken to a throwaway moment from early in the show. Meanwhile the big WTF? moments may go unanswered. Or at least stuff I wonder about.

Utah may be able to win in Utah, but I just don't see any way they can win in LA. Maybe they'll shock me, but I doubt it. That's why this series is kind of boring to me. Just like LA-Denver, no excitement, the outcome doesn't seem in doubt to me.

Not to mention those guys on the first few seasons were pretty good fighters already and for the most part they had decent records. I'm getting tired of seeing 6-5 or 2-4 fighting on this show.
