I really didn't think Matt Brown was all that tough. And all his "I'm ANGRY AND INTENSE" staredowns just made him look like that kid that tries to be tough in school by walking around scowling. I'm tired of this show, they've run out of decent fighters to put on it and now we get all these faux badasses that wear their hats like tools and talk too much shit. The show needs to be shelved or retooled or something. It's really run its course.

I had a butterball friend that did PX90. I would've taken it seriously but he tried every fad diet and exercise program out there. He was one of those people that would do it for a week then quit and move on to the next fad after a month or so of eating like a pig. When he was waiting on his PX90 stuff to show up he ate everything in sight and was like "Well I won't be able to eat like this much longer!"

I really think it's the reincarnation thing. I think Metal Maniac came closest to nailing it with his point that Richard clearly wanted Locke to pick up the Book of Law because it would be a sign of divinity and somebody yearning to lead people towards peace. Instead he picked the knife which symbolized his anger and possibly violent future. Yeah but he asked him what items already belong to him. That goes right along with the Dhali Lama thing. The other one just seems to be reading too much into it.

Or maybe it's just Charlie's psycho jealousy over Claire and the baby.

There's no rumblings about either leaving the show is there? I know they've gotten a few movie roles here and there and I just want to make sure nobody pulls a "well i'm a movie star now. see ya!"

Hey now, that shit's good in stir-fry. -
But, why would she drop the hammer on Jim? She seems so happy with him! Fight it Tuna!

No. I watched KunDun in college and it clicked with me. I don't visit Lostpedia. I know I'd get stuck reading it for hours on end.

I really hope they explain some of the stuff that just seems like a small passing mystery. Like the foot on the statue! What the hell?

I'm pretty sure the Locke thing had something to do with reincarnation just like the Dhali Lhama. I mean when they have a child they think is the Dhali they put out a bunch of items and some of them belong to the previous Dhali. Then they have the child pick them and if he picks the right ones then he must be the reincarnation. Maybe Locke is supposed to be the reincarnation of someone special and the items he was picking were stuff that already belonged to him and he should remember them from his past life.

Man that was awesome earlier tonight. I didn't think the Celtics could really hold Lebron down again but they did. Hopefully they weather the storm in Game 3 since Lebron will probably get all the calls at home and go off for like 40..

A second shooter in the upper bowl of the Superdome? Let's take it to trial. "Back and to the left......back and to the left......baaaaack and to the left."

On to tonight's games. I think the Celtics take Game 2. The Cavs probably had their best chance to win in Boston in game 1. I mean how often is Paul Pierce going to score 4 points and Ray Allen not score? Hopefully Boston gets it going and wins this one since the Cavs will more than likely win game 3 in Cleveland.

It's just funny that you're so quick to assume Lebron is completely absolved of all wrong doing. Maybe the entire story is fabricated, maybe he's never even been to that restaurant.
-
He could just be a tight ass. Not like the guy can't afford it. But because it's Lebron James (the guy that's going to save us from bad basketball or something) let's automatically assume they gave bad service and this place should burn to the ground! My uncle is a millionare and he's one of the tightest people I've ever met in my life. Lebron could be the same way. Maybe he's a big fan of Resevoir Dogs.

It's just weird to see other Lakers stepping up and hitting shots after the past few years of only Kobe having the ability to do so. I'm sure it makes him happy everytime Pau Gasol gets a huge dunk or lay-up or Fisher comes up with a clutch 3.

I've changed my tune a bit and am kind of hoping for Lakers-Celtics in the finals. I don't find the Lakers as offensive to me anymore because: 1) Gary Payton, Karl Malone and Shaq aren't there. That iteration of the Lakers(even though it was just a year) really turned me off. 2) Kwame Brown isn't around (i just don't like that guy) 3) Kobe is playing the best ball of his career and it's entertaining to watch. I like the fact that he actually scores and if he gets fouled it's generally legit rather than spinning into the lane out of control and flopping to the ground ala Wade. Now if they got rid of Luke Walton I'd find them completely inoffensive......surely there is a better role player out there. Oh and they should probably keep the shots of celebrities to a minimum. I hate those bandwagoning jerk-offs(except Jack). Not saying I like them or will root for them......just saying I won't complain about them. Now if only they were in a different city than LA.......

Actually I don't think bicep curls can help you in any sport really. My friend tried to say it could help you escape an arm-bar in MMA and I told him that was more technique and your chest and back. Maybe they're good for intimidation in like high school sports(before people wise up) because to most people big arms=strong. I've been doing some good cardio. Yesterday I played basketball for 30 minutes, then rode the exercise bike at a high RPM for 3 miles, then played basketball for 30 more, then I hit the bike again. Today I was feeling kind of funny from allergies and my throat was killing me but I went to workout anyway. I did a lot of chest and back exercises and I was feeling kind of weak while doing them. So I decided to start working the squats. I did it with a free bar for 3x8 at 135 pounds (yeah i'm a weakling, stop laughing), then I did 4x8 on the safety bar at 155 pounds (stop laughing!) and then I did 3x18 of just body weight squats with my arms crossed over my chest. I wish I could squat my body weight (255) but since I've only started seriously doing them recently it's going to take a while. Plus, I've always been told it's better to do it right with low weight than wrong with high weight.

Back to working out. After talking with you guys and a former rugby mate I'm going to be focusing more on power lifts in the gym and less on doing everything. I mean I could do those lifts plus shoulder presses, bicep curls, etc. but what will that really do? If I'm wanting to burn fat and get stronger I should focus on working my back, chest and legs correct? The other stuff (like my arms) will come along with working those. Besides, beach muscles don't do much in rugby. Right VX? lol

I agree with this. The thing is it's going to take a little longer than one year to turn the Knicks around. You throw a lot of money at a big name coach with a history of winning and people are going to expect him to turn it around immediately. When he doesn't the media and fans in NY will probably turn on him and he'll be villified and booted out of town. So why waste your money on the coach when you should probably be trying to fix the actual team? It's going to take a lot more than a coach to turn that place around.

So the Celtics should be worried because Lebron played terrible, but the Cavs shouldn't be worried because Ray Allen and Paul Pierce played terrible? What happens if all three of them are on including Garnett and Big Z? It works both ways. I agree more with Legler who said this was the Cavs best chance to win a game in Boston since the Celtics were playing so bad on offense and Pierce and Allen were just horrible.
-
Yeah but I like the Celtics in the first place, and Lebron has been crammed down my throat since he was in high school.
-
Putting aside the fact that the Celtics are my team, I can't get behind Lebron James. I hope he becomes the Dan Marino of the NBA.
-
Fucking Celtics playing like dogshit in the second half, luckily the Lebrons are also playing pretty bad.
