Weren't most of those victories boring as shit LnP? Oh I bought the Rumble on the Rock 2 disc/5 event set today. Gotta wait for the woman to go to bed (she wants to watch Desperate Housewives when she gets home so no MMA just yet) but I'm going to watch some of that shit. Too bad like all of them have Cabbage on the card.

I have trouble watching a game in total silence. I like to at least hear the crowd. I really wouldn't enjoy watching a series with two of my most hated players. Although my dislike for LeBron has reached astronomical heights lately. I'm hoping for any combination of Spurs/Suns vs. Pistons/Celtics. I LOVED the SA/Detroit series from a few years ago.

Are you serious? The West playoffs could be one of the all-time greatest. The East playoffs will be good at least once they get to the second round. And you can't possibly tell me you wouldn't watch a Celtics-Lakers Finals. Well yeah I guess that'd be alright. I'd prefer the Lakers didn't have any success at all, but I suppose if they made it to the finals just to lose to the Celtics that would be fine. I just really don't want to listen to the Kobe/LeBron suck-fest that will go on during these playoffs. You can say to avoid ESPN but damn the announcers are getting in on the action too. I'd prefer both to make early exits so I can enjoy basketball.

I'm having trouble getting up for these playoffs. On one hand I'm glad the Celtics are awesome and may go all the way. On the other hand I'm not really wanting to see the Lakers at all and they may go all the way. I doubt I'd watch the finals if they were in it. Ugh. Hopefully the Spurs or Suns can reach the finals to entertain me.

The worst part is when they try to buddy up to the athlete and make a bunch of dumb jokes. Here in western Kansas we had a guy from SoCal that was like that. He'd interview HS kids and make a bunch of dumb jokes then start talking about LA and then he'd start name dropping. Before you knew it the kid hadn't said anything in like 2 minutes and he was going on about interviewing Barry Bonds. I hate people in the media that are name droppers: "So I was interviewing Kobe Bryant the other day....." "Yeah we know Rob. We heard the interview. It's your job to talk to these people."

I just got out of anime after a while. I finished Trigun and Kenshin and then got bored. What really got to me was the elitist kids popping up. You know the ones that make fun of the anime you like because it's "mainstream" then go on about how much better Japan is than America and then they proceed to go on and on about the cultural differences and how it's better. They're like indy/scene kids only with anime.

I have no clue what the story here is. That's not good either. As for the dubs......yeah but the problem with the DBZ one was the way they changed the story and got rid of the old music and etc. Plus the absolute disrespect the people dubbing had for the original was astounding. Especially the guy doing Goku's voice. Every chance he got he took potshots at Japanese culture and at the original show. He even started talking about how the original VA was a girl and wasn't right, and therefore he was the "real" voice of Goku because there version was superior.

Well let's see.....I used to be big into the Japanese version of the show in HS. I bought those terrible fansubs off the internet and tried to avoid the english version as much as possible. I got into arguments with people over how bad the dub was. Then the DVDs came out and I bought a few and watched it subtitled but at that point I'd lost all interest to care. Not like anything was ever going to change, FUNI had no respect for the original work. I'm sure this will be terrible.

I thought Click was pretty funny, but it was mainly the Sean Astin stuff that had me rolling. And I've always been a bigger fan of Happy Gilmore over Billy Madison.

Although, Semi-Pro was a little different than Anchorman and Talladega Nights for me. I mean Will Ferrel wasn't even the main character. The movie felt more centered around Andre Benjamin and Woody Harrelson with Ferrel doing his crazy stuff in the background.

Did anybody catch Tebow's dad on TV just now spouting off bible verses? "What do you think of your son being in the national spotlight?" "I'm glad it gives him a national platform to honor Jesus."

Anchorman and Ricky Bobby had me rolling, Semi-Pro....not so much. I did enjoy Stranger Than Fiction a lot though. People keep mentioning STF as his "Jim Carey" roll and I'm beginning to wonder if that may be what happens to Ferrel down the road. I mean would Carey be caught dead doing a movie like Ace Ventura these days? Probably not. I'm just wondering if Ferrel does another like STF and we look down the road 10 years and realize he'll never do anything like Anchorman again. For the record I like all comedy from low-brow to stuff that goes over most people's heads. I just like to laugh and I find myself amused by a lot. I do enjoy most of that "Frat Pack" work.

Tirico would be good if he sometimes didn't have Scott Van Pelt trying to be funny and cool on the show. I really hate all those SC anchors. I liked my local sports talk guys in Oklahoma but that's mainly because the topic stayed OU in general.

We are getting that, actually. Really? Hell yeah that sounds awesome! What system? I assume 360 and PS3.

As long as it's not worse than Xenosaga. I haven't played a good turn-based RPG in forever. Then again I have so much more to play I'm not sure if I want to get myself started.

It could've been. Or I guess he could've completely lost it. The moaning was starting to annoy me though. Looking at the preview it looks like someone pisses Forrest off with his "i'm not normally an angry guy comment" and I want to know what happened with Rampage that made him go off like that. Sounded like he said "he didn't even fight!" Oh and I'm glad Dana was able to explain the upkicks thing to Rampage before it got him DQ'd. lol

Why? Why do they keep having these neutral site games? I can maybe understand for big rivalries, but for nonconference games? ONE of those is a nuetral site game, the other two certainly aren't, which makes it even more weird, in my opinion. I mean, Qwest might hold more people than... whatever WSU's home field is called, but Jacksonville isn't holding more than FSU. Weird. Well they aren't neutral site but usually they call it a neutral site even when it's in the same town. I mean come on. You could have UCLA play a home game vs. a non-conference foe at the Coliseum and they'd call it a neutral site despite the fact it's right there. At least that's how I've always seen it done. But the point is, why can't we stay at home stadiums? And why are Clemson and Alabama playing in the state of Georgia? I'd also like to agree with Bored's statement about Georgia fucking some people up. They were pretty scary good at the end of last season, even if they were playing the JV in the Sugar Bowl.

I think MS wanted to be taken off the map after seeing him represent.
