They should've stopped them on the drive before that. Instead they played with the mindset of "We'll let them score and then recover the onside kick." There should've never been an onside kick. OU dropped!?!?! They should've gone up after that. It just proves that most of the voters(in the AP and Coaches) don't watch the games and just go off scores.
-
I'm pretty sure if they start 0-2, then you could hold that one over them. Yeah that'd be a good one. "The Eagles gave that one away! They suck! Haha!" "Yeah well at least we have a win...."
-
If the Eagles can still whip the Cowboys asses then it'd still make my season just to shut up all the damn Cowboy fans around here. I'm going to hear it from them tomorrow b/c they all take pleasure in the Eagles pain. Please don't let this be an indication of football for me this season. I won't make it. I'll die or kill myself or someone else by mid-season.
-
God dammit. That's two days in a row that one of my teams has gotten a big lead and fucked it up! I don't know how I can even watch football this season if this is any indication of what my teams are going to do to me! Fucking shit! At least the Eagles played well to shut up all the "Well the Giants are just going to walk away with this one!" people. Hopefully the Eagles will get their shit together. That still pisses me off that McNabb was up there playing around.
-
God dammit. How the fuck are these receivers so wide open underneath?
-
The Sooners ripped my heart out yesterday. The Ealges are pouring gasoline on it and setting the bitch on fire.
-
Damn. Another one of my teams better not rip my heart out for a second day in a row!
-
Dammit turnover on downs......they should've punted it and pinned the Giants deep.
-
I was starting to get worried there for a second. Thing were looking intense and the Eagles suffer from my curse of every team I like not winning so I was expecting a heartbreaker for me on a second day in a row. Trotter shut that down. Come on Eagles.....2-0......1-0 in the division.
-
I have 3 McNabb jerseys, 1 green, 1 white, and a rare black and white one(no green on the jersey at all) I'd like a little more player variety. lol. I wish I could afford one of the authentic jerseys though.
-
This Eagles game is definitely making my weekend look up. I was wanting to get a new Eagles jersey(i have a green McNabb one) and I was going to get one in white or black but I couldn't decided between Kearse and Brown.....I think I'll go with Reggie.

I also hated the way they tried to do the battle system in Xenosaga. Ugh. Oh and I played Legend of Dragoon which had a nice story, good music, but the dreaded limited items! Double ugh. I want to buy a new RPG and give it a shot but it's such a big investment that I'm afraid of spending money on a shitty one.
-
Who said this was a guarantee for the Giants. Haha this weekend will look up if the Eagles can get a win in the division.

People were creating groups on my facebook and writing notes about how OU got screwed, the refs got paid off, blah blah blah. Yeah it was a bad call but like I said earlier....OU still had to stop them not leave a guy wide open. So I posted this note for them all to read: And that's exactly what I'm going to say tomorrow when I get to school if anyone complains to me. Maybe if OU hadn't played vanilla defense on that second to last drive and let Dixon just walk it in there wouldn't have even BEEN an onside kick to complain about.

Coming from a Nebraska fan I won't take that seriously. For not taking that seriously you sure rattled off a long post in OU's defense. OU will beat, CU, ISU, A&M, and Tech. OU will either lose to Baylor or barely beat them. OU will lose to Missouri(VERY possible) OU will lose to Texas(sure thing) Don't get me wrong, OU is better than Nebraska. I wouldn't have said that last week, but playing better than Oregon proved a little something. They deserve to be a #12-18 team. Nebraska does not. Nebraska will lose AT LEAST 2 more games this year before the big 12 title game, IF they even win the North(I don't think they will). I care more about Buffalo than Nebraska as far as college football goes, by the way. It's nowhere close to being a sure thing that OU loses to Texas. And there's no way they play close with Baylor. Waco isn't exactly the most hostile environment.
-
Hmm it's a week away and not many people are talking about it.
-
Coming from a Nebraska fan I won't take that seriously. Nobody in the Big XII outside of Texas and Mizzou can beat OU. They get Tech, Colorado, and ISU all in Norman. Bob Stoops has only lost two games in Norman. They'll win those games. They get A&M at Kyle Field which is a tough place to play but after this week at Autzen somehow I don't think they'll be intimidated. They go to Baylor.....*makes jacking off motion* They go to Mizzou which will be tough but they can get the job done. And then the toughest test will be Texas in the Cotton Bowl but if they play anywhere close to the way they played today on offense and then if they play on defense like they did in the second half against Washington they'll finish Texas off. And then maybe Nebraska in the Big XII title game but they won't be too tough especially after we beat basically the same team in Lincoln last year with a worse OU team. So no it's not a fantasy world because every game they have on their schedule is winnable. Even Rece Davis said if OU beat Oregon they would've probably run the table and I don't think he lives in a fantasy world. The Big XII title is easily winnable and the fact that they have big #28 in the backfield just increases their chances of winning. Plus Rufus Alexander on defense does a lot for them. As for Nebraska? They're not going anywhere this season nor will they win the Big XII. If they even get to the Big XII title game they'll get handled by OU or Texas especially with Callahan calling plays. Go on about fantasy worlds and whatever, especially after your coach embarassed himself with the worst offensive gameplan in the history of Nebraska football, because OU right now looks better than everyone else in the Big XII outside of Texas.
-
If they win the Big XII(which they most likely will IF they beat Texas) then they will be a Top 10 team. That simple.
-
I can't believe nobody else has mentioned the horrible and shitty gameplan by Callahan. Or do you guys just expect that from him and I was fooled by last season and thought he'd changed? Herbstreit said it best. It was confusing and it didn't look like Nebraska even wanted to win!
-
Yeah but the AP has them in a better ranking because 15 was about right. Now 12 or 13 should be about right for them. They'll finish in the top 10. No doubt. And no helmet sticker for AD? Boo.
-
Wow Chris Fowler just made a fan out of me. He ripped the Pac 10 officiating and instant replay. Good job Chris. He did't have to yell or anything. The way he said it just made it sound scathing and harsh.
-
Because Texas is better than Boise State.......duh.
-
Such a troll. At least you let OU move up in your rankings(though they never should've been that low because they will win the big xii or at the very least finish #2) and I hope the pollsters recognize it that way too. After watching A&M struggle my claim that the Big XII is ass is confirmed. Bad year all around. KSU, A&M, Mizzou, and Oklahoma f'n State are the only undefeated teams in this conference!? CRAZY! Bizarro world. Mark May actually said OU was screwed......I'm shocked. Oh well I wrote my sporting news blog about how it's OU's fault anyway because you still have to stop them after the bad calls! You can't stand around going "We got screwed!"
-
Oh yeah. And FFX. I tried Xenosage and hated the absurd amount of cut scenes. I like games that are set in the medieval/sci-fi era.
-
Bill Callahan had to have the worst gameplan ever. I can see him heading out to get on the team bus and it leaving him behind. Nebraska's midget corners had no shot against Dwayne "the giant" Jarrett. They looked like children. At one point I caught Jarrett passing out candy to them. Oh well it was a good day of games even if OU was horribly screwed. I'm about to write in my blog though about how they have nobody to blame but themselves because despite the penalties they could've still stopped Oregon. OH and in the past I didn't think it was warranted for you guys to say the Big XII was overrated and they usually proved it by performing well in bowls. This year I'm driving that bandwagon because the Big XII is racing the ACC for worst conference.
