Apparently OU wants a piece of Keller. They're guaranteeing him a starting job next season(since he'd sit out next year) and a chance to play in big games. I think it's just a desperation move by OU b/c Miami is coming in at the beginning of next season with a senior QB(if Wright hangs around) and if OU doesn't get ahold of Keller then they're stuck firing out Bradford(who'll be a sophomore or most likely a redshirt freshman) or Joey Halzle(JUCO transfer that SUCKS) against a Miami defense. Man Bomar screwed OU in the long run too.

I didn't see most of the game so I didn't see the supposedly godlike plays Reggie Bush made but his numbers appeared to be those of a mere mortal. What did he do that was so amazing that SS had to go crazy about?

What is with all the fumbles in this game? Is it a glitch? Everyone in this game is fumbling everywhere.

There has to be a title fight on the next show right? If Hughes doesn't have someone to defend against then what do we do? Ace won't be ready and they haven't even decided on a challenger yet. The buyrate wouldn't be that great if they put Sylvia on it and of course Chuck couldn't defend. Should they try to make the Lightweight title the main event and stack the card with other good undercard bouts?

Oh well if he's hurt then we can just postpone it. Have Hughes fight someone........I guess he can't fight Diego b/c it's to0 soon. Damn...who would fight on short notice? GSP should be guranteed the shot whenever he's healthy right? So does it have to be in September? He can wait till he's healthy can't he? I know we can't wait for the fight.

So then why wouldn't he be fighting? Is he hurt?

Ok back to protein shakes. I bought some protein to take after I lift. But I was looking at my schedule and I'll be lifting before I go to class. Which means I won't really be able to drink a protein shake after I lift b/c I'll be going to class. My mom(a freaking health nut) suggested that I drink it in the morning before I start my day because the protein will be there no matter what and it'll be there for when I work out. Any thoughts? What I should do? I can't really take it with me.

Ok I rewatched this episode on tape and I don't think I liked it too much. It seemed to move too fast. We didn't really get to know the fighters or see them in the house. It was like "Hey here they are. Now train!" and the training shots weren't that great either. And no comments from Randy or GSP? Boo.

This kick meter is still teh gay. I decided not to go with OU and went with my QB at Nebraska as a campus legend. Man it's hard as hell to keep your GPA up.

Oh yeah I forgot. Has Karo been training with Tito or was he just in the corner for the night? I could've sworn he trained with Randy.

Diego looked kind of lost or out of it whenever Karo put him on his back. I mean I know he's good at scrambling and reversing position but I don't think he's ever had a guy on top of him like that giving him shots. I don't mean lost as in "What do I do?" I mean lost as in "Oh fuck I'm not used to this. This hasn't happened before." Basically he's not used to being in a losing position. Diego's a great heel though and I think he knows it. I still think we need the special mixed weight fight challenge between Stephan Bonnar and Diego Sanchez after watching TUF1 and the extras. That was funny shit when Bonnar was calling him Havier and when Deigo was like "I don't care if he's a 205er! I'll take him down and out!"

Ok I've been playing it and man this one takes some getting used to. The new kicking meter sucks ass and I hate the way the camera goes slow-mo on some plays. I started a campus legend with a QB at OU. I usually don't do anything serious with OU in this game. Every year when I buy the game I start a Dynasty mode with OU and play around for a bit then move on just to get a feel for the game. It feels cheap to do everything in the game with my favorite team.

Even though I do think Diego won that doesn't mean I have to like it. Man I hate that guy.

Damn I was loving Karo's throws. Everytime Havier wins a fight an angel loses it's wings and the baby jesus cries. Oh well I still don't think he can hang with GSP or Hughes.

Well I bought it for regular X-Box. It seems way harder than the previous games.

Ok so back when I was in HS and the beginnings of college and I didn't live with my girlfriend I had all this time to play video games. I didn't have any bills and loads of free time. So I was able to just buy every system and a bunch of games and enjoy myself. So I now have the PS2, Gamecube, and X-Box. And the next gen for all these systems are coming out. And now I'm thinking "Do I really need all of them?" I played the shit out of my PS2 when I got it. That thing was wore out so bad that the controller cord is falling apart. But since I got my X-Box 3 years ago it's barely seen any action except to play RPGs or old PS1 games. My X-Box meanwhile has gotten the brunt of my attack for the last 3 years. I've gone through 3 controllers with this thing. The only problem is that I really only play football games on it now and the occasional other game. But I don't have time like I used to. I can't sit and play through a game in a week or a couple of days and get a new one. I'm currently moving through Prince of Persia 2 at a slow crawl. And I don't even really want to finish it b/c I think it's crappy(after loving the first) but my sense of duty to finish a game I paid money for is making me play it. When I buy NCAA 07 I'm sure I'll forget it. Hell I've had Shenmue II since I bought the X-Box. It gets played every now and then. And then I have my poor Gamecube which has really not gotten the playing time it deserves. I barely play it. I only play it when we play big multiplayer games or when I played Zelda Windwaker. And RE4. Other than that the system has sat neglected and ignored. I don't want to have 1,000 bucks worth of next gen gaming systems that I never play. Anyone else experienced this as they grew up or are growing up? A lack of time to play these games? No longer a need for every video game system? My OCD makes me want to buy them all and I obsess over if I should or not. My new plan is to wait for them all to come out and decide which one is best instead of just buying them all now. That should work out for me. But yeah the whole point of this thread was to get that off my chest and ask if anyone else has experienced this. A bunch of video game sytems that never get played and you realize "Well I'm growing up. I only have time for one system and one game at a time." Also as a sidenote. When I considered myself a "serious gamer" and what not I scoffed at the people that just played sports video games. I had my RPGs. Now I never play RPGs(no decent ones out especially after the destruction of the FF series, and i don't have time to devote 60 hours to a game) and all I play is sports games. I've become what I used to scoff at!

I'm not talking about going on a diet. I'm talking about changing my diet.

So when's this new FF game come out? The FF7 sequel? And it's PS2 right? I need a new RPG to play. I haven't played one in ages.

I guess I just care about paying my bills and what not too much to spend 600 bucks on the system. I won't buy any at launch though. i never buy any systems at launch. So maybe I'll be getting some cheaper game systems. Right now it's a battle between the X-Box 360 and the Wii. if the 360's BC doesn't get better then the Wii will win. I have this feeling Nintendo might make a resurgance. I used to be an RPG junkie and I'd love to get back into them but jeez....I just can't justify spending that money yet. And fuck Blu Ray. Fuck it in it's dumbass. I hate these companies always trying to hold us up for money. If Blu Ray wins then I'm going to be pissed because I like everyone else has spent years building my DVD collection up to where my VHS collection was. And now they're going to say "Buy those all again!" It's just like gas prices. They're all after my money and they're not paying me enough to keep up.
