Do you think if Vince got ahold of a former UFC champion these days(like Ken Shamrock) he would destroy him and job him constantly to prove that WWE is better than the UFC?

I just remember a thread a long time ago where Rudo went "oh god Fedor no!!!!" And I didn't know what it was in reference too. I just wanted to mention this post of mine again because I'm still wondering and wanting thoughts: Also those god damn decisions on my Total Elimination 2k5 and Shockwave 2k4 DVDs was really irritating. Also is there a site that does MMA reviews? Like reviews of various DVD's from UFC and PRIDE.

Damn I know I have posted a lot and not gotten an answer yet but I have another. I have a tape of PRIDE 20(i think i bought it from Brian) and the matches seem out of order on the DVD. Did they cut the prelims off the DVD or something? Also was this DVD made for an American audience way after the PPV was even shown? It seems that way.

Did Fedor lose recently or something?

Well I didn't watch the PPV so I would have no idea.....and on top of that I'm not a Lindland fan. But I probably shouldn't argue with you because you'll just challenge me to a fight and then Thai kick me in the head or something.

I had no idea that the Armed and Ready DVD was PRIDE 20......they don't put them on the DVD's. Is that Cro Cop's first PRIDE fight? The reason I said they're being slow with the release of the DVD's is because the latest they have out in the 2005 MW tourney is the semi-finals(or quarter finals not sure which). I'd like the finals and what not. Does PRIDE even still number? If so what number are they up to?

I honestly don't think there is anywhere that teaches Muay Thai around here. So I'm just doing regular kickboxing. Does anyone else run into and hate those kids that do like just boxing or just kickboxing or just jiu-jitsu and they go "Yeah I train in MMA!"

Well I bought Shockwave 2K5 and Total Elimination 2005 and all the decisions made me sad.

So I thought kickboxing was not only supposed to help me get in shape but help me relieve stress and not be so angry all the time....it has failed on that last account thus far.

So basically Porter told me that if I gave up beef it could help me get in better shape. Then I was told this by many other people. So I decided "what the hell?" and gave it up. I've been beef free for a week now. Has anyone else decided to give up the red meat? Was it tough? Did you notice any physical changes(i'm not just talking exterior. i heard it's better for your intestines)? Did you ever just have to have a hamburger?

I have to go see it again b/c I couldn't hear some of the jokes. The theater was busting up so much I missed things.

Anybody seen this show Final Fu on MTV? It's a martial arts reality show or something. The fights are absurd and remind me why I'd never do karate or tae kwon do. They look like two retarded kids running at each other and just throwing wild punches and kicks. I think if any of these guys got into a street fight with a good boxer or kickboxer they'd hit the ground immediately.

Oh man another tough workout today. I love kickboxing if not for just the workout. We did a bunch of push-ups using medicine balls. I think going through all the stations today I had to do 200 f'n pushups. That's a lot when it's 90 degrees in the gym and you're doing other taxing things besides pushups.

How would that help the Big 12? You talk crazy Leena.

Also because of my new job I'll be working on Saturday's and Sunday's so I may have to tape games.

Eh I'd like OU to win the national title but I doubt it's going to happen b/c: A) Oregon will be a very tough road game B) Texas is always tough even if they don't have Vince Young C) They have to go to College Station. I know A&M won't be any great shakes but OU ALWAYS has trouble in College Station D) The O-Line is even more inexperienced than last year and a ton of guys that are expected to start are still injured right now and might not be ready till the end of two-a-days. I think they'll win the Big 12 no sweat. But a National Title? That's pushing it. Maybe they run through the Big 12 and finish with one loss(to Oregon) and play in another BCS bowl? Or maybe a loss to Texas(who goes on to win the big 12) and they end up in the Cotton Bowl? Both are more likely scenarios than a national title IMO.

Yeah well I never said they couldn't support a team. I'm saying that OKC is first in line for a new team if the Hornets leave. Before Vegas and before KC. OKC would have a team before any other city IF(and that's a big if) the Hornets leave.

Doesn't matter how beautiful it is they're still not getting an NBA team before OKC.

I keep having dreams about OU/Oregon. It's weird. The first one I had I mentioned in this thread. OU was up HUGE at halftime and Oregon came back and killed them. The one I had last night had OU winning 34-0 before suffering defeat later in the season at the hands of Iowa State. Yikes.

I sure hope OU doesn't go into this season ranked #1. We always seem to fall short when ranked that high. I rewatched the Holiday Bowl on ESPNU at work today. Jesus that ending was intense. I don't think the game in Eugene will be as close though. OU will be waaaaaaay better.

It just seems to me that taking up a sport is so much better than actually going to the gym and working out. It gets you in shape and you want to do it and it's fun.
