They're playing 6 games in NO. The players and ownership want them to stay in OKC. NO won't be ready to support them in 2 years. They need to stay in OKC and in the end that's probably where they're going to end up. I doubt anybody here wants the Sonics after we've had the Hornets. It'd be a case of "Oh you all have Hornets merchandise and are Hornets fans? Too bad! Buy Sonics stuff!" Putting another team in OKC right after the Hornets would ruin the city as an NBA market.

Civil War represents one of the reasons I don't read comic books anymore. They're going to do this and the whole universe will be divided and eveyrthing will be shaken up and changed but a year from now or 2 years from now there will be a new editor is chief that'll be like "This sucks. I want everything the way it used to be with secret identities and all super heroes being nicey nice with each other. So......I'll find a way to undo it."

I thought that interview was going to be good. Instead Ken yelled a bunch and kept repeating himself......wait it was Ken Shamrock...... My gf thinks he has the respect problem because he's not very well endowed. The way she put it was "Randy is always calm and collected and good at everything he does. That's because he's got a giant schlong. Ken however has nothing going on down there so he's always losing his temper and demanding that everyone respects him."

Well the UFC and PRIDE needs to quit being slow in their release of DVD's. One day I would like to own every UFC and PRIDE on DVD(even the shitty ones) but unfortunately that's not going to happen because the UFC doesn't have anything below UFC 39 on DVD and I really wish they'd go back and do the first 38. Yeah I know they're doing the classics but those really suck. And I doubt they'd do Classics all the way to 38. On top of that UFC 39-42 or so are all two DVD sets that are not only difficult to find but absurdly expensive compared to other UFC DVDs!

So I bought another Pride DVD(Shockwave 2005) and now I'm trying to figure out what to get next. I want the 2005 Middleweight GP(is that any good?) but unfortunately they only put each round on the DVD's and they only have the first two rounds out! Why are PRIDE and UFC so damn slow with releasing DVDs?

I had another grueling day of kickboxing. They told me that I didn't look like a beginner. They said my punches and kicks had great technique and the guy holding the bag for me said I punched and kicked harder than most of the people in the gym. Maybe I found a calling.....

I didn't even know that was a black woman when I first looked at the pic. I thought it was Keenan from Fat Albert.

Man I started kickboxing yesterday and it was insane. I'm sore today. I don't need weights with that. We didn't learn any combos or anything, we just did circuit. I got there and we jump roped forever. Then we did squat thrusts into jumps for what seemed like 10 minutes. Then we had to do the circuit but we didn't finish. I ran on a trampoline for two minutes straight, then i uppercutted a bag for two minutes straight, then i uppercutted another bag, then ran on the trampoline some more, then i used the speedbag, then chinups, then these weird ab exercises, then i jumped over a punching bag, then i did squat kicks. I did each of these with a 30 second rest between and did the exercises straight without stopping. Then we did 15 minutes of ab workouts. My stomach and legs are sore today. It was a damn good workout. I had to lose my shirt halfway through because I was sweating so bad that it looked like I'd jumped in a pool.

That's the most racist thing I've ever seen! I'm offended! It wasn't meant to be racist. It's not like the white chick was going "I'm not racist! I have black people in my family tree! They're still hanging there today!" (btw that joke was told to me by a black guy. actually most of the racist jokes i know came from this black guy in HS)

And on top of that they picked the Panthers again! They picked the Panthers last year! And the year before!

No I wasn't being sarcastic. The fact that it's being broken down into a racial thing is absurd. They're advertising the white PSP over the black PSP. It's a machine. It's not a human. They're not saying anything about white people or black people at all. The two people represent the fucking PSP's not a white and black person.

So what if they put their top contenders against Arlvoski and he kills them all meanwhile big Timmy has destroyed all his challengers.....do we really have to sit through that fight again?

I'm sure the monthly fees at the big camps are huge though. I've been working out at a local gym that some local MMA fighters work out at(i've just been doing kickboxing) and i only pay 70 a month. I'm sure it'd be absurd to workout at the Militech camp or Team Quest.

I hear people talk about some MMA fighters and they say things like "Oh well he's fallen off because he doesnt' train with a top camp" or then you have guys who are at the Militech camp training. What I was wondering was if these guys that trained at top camps started at these top camps? Or did they start MMA at some local gym, develop into a decent amateur fighter and then take it to the next level?

After watching Eurotrip again I wish i could be a soccer hooligan like the guys in the movie. Fucking I-ties!

I didn't say it was worked. There were people all over Meltzer's site claiming it was a work and I thought it was stupid that anyone would suggest it.

Yeah she hates Ken Shamrock after watching TUF3. The way she put it made sense, especially after Dana mentioned Ken was only there to fight Tito. She said that Ken screwed all the kids on his team over with his shitty conditioning and the fact that he didn't teach them submissions and that it wasn't fair to those guys and they might've won if they were on Tito's team. Plus she thinks he's a jackass. The stoppage looked premature last night but now looking back on it it's like "It's either stopped now or 5 seconds later" so it wasn't a big deal. And I don't think it was worked. Can't they go to jail for working a real sporting event that people are betting on?
