Ok I'll attempt to re-lighten the mood with my wonderfully ignorant n00b wonderings. I just bought my first PRIDE DVD as I mentioned earlier in the thread. It's High Octane. I was going to get the experts thoughts on the following fighters I saw on the disc(i don't even know if some of these guys still fight): -Heath Herring -Ricardo Arona(i started to really like this guy watching it) -Dan Henderson -Mark Hunt -Allistair Overeem -Josh Barnett(wasn't he a pro wrestler? he's on my AJPW vs. NJPW tape i think) -Alexander Emelianeko And that's it.

Sean Salisbury isn't really fit to cover football. I mean I know he played and all but sometimes after listening to him I wonder if he knows anything about the sport. Actually that goes for a lot of people on ESPN.

Ok...outlandish? Since he's been training with Randy Couture, Forrest Griffin could beat anyone in the LHW division(yes even tito if they fought again)except Chuck Liddell.

I really wanted Tito to win because Shamrock just drove me crazy on TUF3 but I just rewatched Forrest/Tito and heard the shit Tito talked about Randy after the fight and that was irritating. I hope they knock each other out........somehow.

That sounds like those people on the radio in NO. I was listening to the radio today and one local sportswriter who has gotten to know the owner and team really really well is convinced they will stay here or do everything possible to stay here. He thinks it'll come out in December or January that the city will just not be ready to support the team and they'll have more priorities than building a practice facility and making sure the team is accomodated. I've heard it'll take around 5 years to get the city even close to being decent.

They were close to being a playoff team(a playoff team that would've gotten swept in the first round but a playoff team nonetheless) this year so I hope they make it next season because it'll be good to go to the playoffs in OKC. The atmosphere would be crazy.

MJ, Babe, Montana, and maybe Tiger. If ESPN put it together it'd be Barry Bonds, Lebron James, Danica Patrick, and Reggie Bush.

Oh and it looks like my Judo career has been put on hold. I've been invited to start training kick-boxing and jiu-jitsu with a guy that runs a local gym named Scott "Conan" Mincey. He's held a ton of kick-boxing titles and one of his students competes in MMA and another competes in that fighting league Chuck Norris has.

Oh is this really along the same lines as those debates? I mean can't you analyze it through seeing their fights and styles and make an educated guess? It's not like I'm asking who would win between Jack Dempsey and Mike Tyson. These guys fight in the same era and trained together.
