This "greatest player to ever wear that number" thing that ESPN is doing exemplifies the "what have you done for me lately?" mentality they have. They have Reggie Bush as the greatest to ever wear #5(against guys like McNabb, James, and LT), Leinart as the greatest to ever wear #11, and Vince Young as the greatest to ever wear #10. If this list was made 5 years from now they probably wouldn't have any of those guys as the greatest but they're all fresh in ESPN's dumb little heads.

Oklahoma supposedly has more coastline than any other place in the country because we have so many damn lakes. I've been fishing only a handful of times but I've never caught anything good because I never had a boat and had to fish off the shore. Caught like small perch and bass and the occasional catfish.

So since I don't watch a lot of Pride I don't know a lot about some of their fighters. Now the questions I'm about to ask might be considered sacrilige by some here but I'm still relatively new to MMA so I'm giving myself a pass. lol. Ok so tell me about these fighters: Fedor(yeah i know everyone here thinks he's jesus. tell me why though) Mirko Cro Cop Wanderlei Silva(yeah i've seen his early UFC stuff but i know he got really good after that. right?) And I'll have more later.

Well he didn't do anything near as bad as Switzer. And he wasn't as well liked as Switzer either.

I know I've mentioned this before but I'll say it again about Tank. For some reason people think the guy is awesome and cool even though he sucks shit in the octagon. My friend David, who trains jiu-jitsu so he should understand something about the UFC, is always going on about how awesome Tank is and how he kicks everyone's ass and is just a bad-ass despite the fact that the hasn't done shit in the new UFC era against competent fighters.

Paragon I was saying that because Hawk earlier in the thread was saying that Kendall was a dangerous competitor at 185 and a title contender. I was saying that if he fought Rich Franklin(since some people seem to think he's a contender) then what happened to Nate Quarry wouldn't look that bad because I think Rich would hand Kendall his ass hard.

Because I think if Ed had better conditioning(which i believe he'll get being in the UFC now) he'd have submitted Kendall later in the fight. I just don't buy Kendall yet(or Ed for that matter) when it comes to facing any of the halfway decent middleweights in the UFC. And let's not even talk about them fighting Rich Franklin. The Nate Quarry fight would look like an all-out war compared to what Franklin could do to Herman and Grove.

I don't think Kendall can take anyone in the middleweight division. I think the champion owns him right now.

Wow jwpeer. I've never had it explained like that and I see your point of view fully. But in the end who will be the better UFC fighter? I think Herman might. But if Kendall really improved that much on the show then maybe he'll improve a ton more now.

And calling bullshit last night was wrong but I was caught in the heat of the moment because the fight had me pumped. I had to stand up when they delievered the decision. I couldn't stay sitting or my stomach may have knotted more. So yes it was a razor-close one that oculd've gone either way(not BS like i previously called) but I still support Herman. And Hamill basically pounded the fuck out of Forbes(not Haynes) until the fight was called. I think that's what he was talking about. Or maybe Hamill and Haynes did something. I dunno. Kenny really took out Stout though. I was impressed. Especially because Stout did a lot of big talking before the fight and said Kenny wouldn't be able to take him down at all.

Seriously, are you blind? It was a close fight and Kendall I thought deversed the desicion no question. Everytime a close fight happens and the fighter you pick doesn't get the desicion you always call bullshit(Griffin Vs. Ortiz), just shut up. You shut up. A case can me made that Ed won. A case can me made that Forrest one. You act like it was cut and dried like Kendall stood over Ed the entire fight and rained down punches and Ed just layed there begging for the fight to be stopped. It wasn't a no question that he deserved the decision. It was close. My gf said that Haynes wife didn't look to concerned when Bisping was pummeling him and he looked half there. Maybe she thinks he's annoying too.

I heart Michael Bisping. I love the way he just punishes people.
