It's weird. Last year we had controversy with USC, OU, and an SEC team. This year we have controversy with USC, OU, and an SEC team.
-
Umm.......actually OU plays the toughest schedule out of those 3 teams. They showed it on FSN last night. OU's schedule rank is 10. USC's is like 37. Auburn's is like 24. So they don't play the weakest schedule of the 3 by any means.

Chris Fowler is claiming that Auburn will gain ground on OU this week but he doesn't think they'll overtake them in the polls. On top of that OU is ranked #1 in a lot of computer rankings which is helping them in the BCS as well. I think the AP voters might jump Auburn but at the end of the year we could end up with the Coaches poll looking like it is now. And if Auburn is #2 in only one poll then they probably won't be able to jump OU in the BCS. It's still crappy that USC gets to have a deathgrip on the #1 spot.

Well if OU ends up in the Fiesta bowl then who do they play?
-
Yeah Texas Tech was ranked in the Top 25 going into this week and they've been ranked in the Top 25 earlier in the season. Just everytime they get ranked they run into another south team. And all 5 of those teams in the Big XII south(OU, Texas, TT, A&M, OSU) are going to bowl games. The only one not going is Baylor and they shouldn't even be in the conference in the first place. If the Big XII North was worth a damn the Big XII would be the toughest conference in the country. But the North is full of teams that can't see out of their helmets or something......
-
The only team in the Big XII North with a legitimate chance of beating OU is KSU. And they ruined their chances by losing to Colorado today. The Big XII South is the toughest division in college football with 5 ranked teams and all 5 teams are going to a bowl and one for sure(OU) and maybe two(Texas) are going to a BCS bowl.

But we did have some fun at the game. Even though it was freezing and raining. I just gave Bill Callahan hell throughout the entire game. That was great. Luckily I didn't contribute to the 15 yard penalty for throwing Oranges onto the field.

I just got back from the OU/Nebraska game and I've decided that the rest of the country is full of brain dead morons! They showed on the big screen everything relating to OU/Auburn/USC. First of all OU's opponents had the BEST combined record while Auburn's opponents had the worst. OU has the highest strength of schedule out of the 3 teams(OU is 10, Auburn is 24, and USC is like 35) OU has beaten 3 nationally ranked teams on the road, USC has beaten NONE, and Auburn has beaten 2. HOW COULD OU BE LEFT OUT OF THIS GAME!? They've played better opponents and have won all of them! They beat two ranked teams on the road 2 weeks in a row! They have one of the best QB's(maybe the best) in the country running that offense! Jason White was like 25 for 32 or something like that with 383 yards, 3 TD's, and NO int's tonight. He set a school record with 18 consecutive completions. He has the most TD's and Yards out of the QB's going for the Heisman. Actually his stats are so much better than Leinhart's it's not even funny. And yet Kellen Winslow(a moron that produced a moron) said that he had an average game and didn't improve his Heisman status? BULLSHIT. If anything he should be the front runner for that damn statue now. He's done nothing but prove himself every week and if you deny it you're either braindead or bias. It's that simple. OU is the #2 team in the country and they should go at it with Auburn in the Orange Bowl. It's that simple. USC is not the best team in the country and they've struggled against some mediocre competition. If OU is left out of the title game it's going to create a huge uproar b/c it's just not right. Oh and the computers aren't lowering them it looks like. The human voters would have to lower them and if the human voters keep them out of the title game then they should all have their votes revoked b/c they're bias morons. It's that simple.

Yeah after what happened to OSU.....I don't think I trust Texas being down at all.
-
An OU/KSU sequel would probably be good. Missouri and ISU wouldn't be able to do jack shit against OU. But KSU can.
-
The girls are usually High School girls that live in Norman. And they're like "You go to OU? Cool....can you buy me beer?"
-
Kiss my ass. I'm talking about Auburn and USC and the National Title picture. I'll post in this thread.
-
Yes OU did play a tougher non-conference schedule than Auburn. But my point is that USC hasn't exactly blown everyone away to the point where they should be automatically considered in the title game.
-
I'm on myspace.....I get nothing but messages from 15 year old High School girls.....shit's annoying.
-
Yeah and I'm wearing an RVD shirt. Haha...it's just the big shit eating grin I have on my face.

USC has been less impressive all season. Auburn plays in the toughest conference in the country. OU plays in the toughest division in college football. And before you say anything the Big XII south is the toughest division b/c 5 of the 6 teams in it are ranked in the Top 25. Auburn has struggled once against a good LSU team. OU has struggled twice ON THE ROAD against rivals who are ranked in the Top 25. USC has struggled FOUR TIMES against teams they should be eating for lunch(with the exception of Cal). Why does USC get the free pass? They shouldn't. If they struggle against UCLA and ND and OU and Auburn roll over their remaining opponents then the national title game should be OU and Auburn and their is no arguing that b/c USC has not looked like a national title contender all year. The only team that has consistently looked good is Auburn. However OU hasn't looked as bad as USC.
-
As of right now the only Big XII championship game I want to see is OU/KSU because right now KSU is the only team that can give OU a game. And the only reason THEY can do that is b/c of who their coach is and the fact he knows the in's and out's of OU's football team and always has his team play them tough no matter how bad they are. That is the ONLY Big XII title game that will be any good. Kansas? OU already drummed them. Nebraska? OU will drum them tomorrow. Colorado? Mediocre at best. Missouri? Brad Smith would be forced to throw like crap and OU would run over his ass. Iowa State? BWAHAHAHAHA! Kansas State is the only team in that division that has a legitimate shot at OU.
-
Silly them! Expecting their fans to want to see the team play in the conference CHAMPIONSHIP game! Maybe if the conference title game were between 2 SOUTH teams. You know the Big XII South is one of the best divisions in College FB. Unfortunately the Big XII also has the Big XII North which on the flipside is the WORST division in college football.
-
No....I don't think those teams you listed are better. Put ASU and A&M on a neutral field and A&M would eat them for lunch. Same with VT and OSU. The only one I will give you is Cal b/c I think they're better than USC.
-
This is what I am wondering. From watching ESPN they keep saying "Will OU or Auburn play USC in the title game?" my question is......why does it have to be USC in the title game? Sure they may not lose again but out of the 3 teams fighting for the title game they've played the weakest schedule out of the 3 and they've struggled the most(they struggled in 3 games and 2 of them were against unranked opponents) OU played 4 teams ranked in the Top 25 and came back on the road against a Top 25 team in one of the toughest places in the country and beat hated rival OSU on the road. Plus they only really struggled to win in 1 game. Auburn meanwhile blew out Tennessee and only struggled in one game against LSU. So WHY is USC automatically in the title game? They are the least impressive of the 3 teams. Is it b/c they're a media darling and were #1 at the beginning of the season? If things continued with all 3 being undefeated and USC having struggles against ND and UCLA then why should they be in the title game? Auburn and OU would probably just whip their ass anyways based off the way USC has played.

I'm still disturbed by the fact that someone said I look like a jackass in those pics. Do I? And John Rocker? Psh....*hides his glove with racist slogans written in it*
-
I just got an email inviting me as an OU season ticket holder to buy Big XII championship tickets. My question was why do I want to spend 75 dollars to sit in the freezing cold in Kansas City to watch OU play Iowa State!?
-
John Rocker? SHIT! *runs* Anyways someone looking at my pics told me that I look like an asshole in all of my pics and they said in that last one that I'm smirking like a jackass.

Dating? Whoa. I'm just friends with her and always have been.

Oh that's my good friend Candice. She's like 22 I believe and she spends most of her nights out at the bar. You'd probably have a chance with her b/c she takes a lot of random guys home however she's still a virgin....yeah I know. She just takes em' home and goes down on them and vice versa and that's it. She's made a lot of guys happy......and unhappy at the same time.
