  1. Yeah if they can't win in Atlanta or Cleveland then it's about safe to say Detroit would be untouchable. Ray Allen still didn't show up today, luckily Pierce decided he wanted to be the man.
  2. Now on to the ECF. If I go with my heart it says Celtics. I want them to win so bad. But, if I go with my head it says Pistons. Then again I've been saying Pistons all year out of the East.
  3. I'll hang out in hell while Mr. Boss sits home until next season. Hahaha! That was awesome.
  4. This has been an awesome first half so far. I hope Pierce can come back and "out-Lebron" Lebron in the second half. I'm tired of seeing Letravel James run down the lane anyway.
  5. You say that, but with the disappearing and reappearing acts everyone in this series has done I half expect him to go off. I mean think of it. In this series Lebron, Big Z, Varejao, Rondo, KG, Pierce and even Eddie freakin' House have appeared and reappeared or had like one good game then disappeared into anonymity. It's just an odd series.
  6. Her dunk sucked. It was something any high school male could do easily. I wasn't impressed, and I thought she was only given it because she was a girl. I don't like that. Ripper have you ever noticed you disagree with everything I say and try to argue with me, but you never are able to change my mind? Why do you still comment? Why don't you just ignore me? It'd be a lot easier.
  7. People that try to act like a badass when they know there's no chance of a fight ever happening. Today I'm driving and these two guys drive by and one flips me off out the window for whatever reason, I really couldn't figure one out. So I just keep driving and they slow down so they can get beside me and they're both staring at me and it's irritating so I finally just look over and go "What the fuck are you staring at?" and the guy in the passenger seat hangs out the window and throws his arms in the air and goes "What motherfucker? What?" and is doing the whole chest beat "What?" thing hanging out a car window! I start to veer into his lane to where my car is about to hit there car, and his eyes get about as wide as saucers and he falls back into the car and they speed off. Now what the hell were they trying to accomplish? Did they just want to put on a macho display or did they want me to follow them to some parking lot to throw down? It was about as bad as someone typing threats out in an e-mail to someone you know you'll never ever meet.
  8. Yes I suppose that is the big problem. Even if you pay them they're still going to accept gifts and money.
  9. I still don't like her from way back when she won the dunk contest. I thought that was a little absurd to give it to her.
  10. Are we sure that was the Orchid he was signalling to or someone somewhere else waiting or a signal from Ben?
  11. He could still be. Richard is on his way to the Orchid to help Ben, and he runs into Kate and Sayid on the way.
  12. You heartless bastard. And I can't say I'm too excited about the prospect of one dude sticking it to another for the right to kill me. Would that be cornholing with no regard for human life? So I'm still upset I'm not getting to watch SA/NO today. Yup, makes no sense why they're giving the teams 3 days rest. Cavs/Celts only get one.
  13. So, I just read Avengers the Initiative issue 12. All the recruits were placed on a new team. Is this the end of the story, or are they going to start with new recruits? Oh yeah, does anyone read the New Warriors? Just wondering if it was any good. I kind like Slapstick. And it'd be nice if Mutant Zero had been revealed!
  14. It's quite possible. Guess you'll have to wait on the edge of your seat. :: waits :: Don't fall off, I wouldn't want you to hurt yourself.
  15. After witnessing the futility of the road team in the second round it'd be kind of funny to see both conference finals be sweeps.
  16. Since you keep up with 1-AA, how's Bobby Reid doing down at Texas Southern? I keep flipping sides between Reid and Gundy when ESPN does their pieces on how Gundy's rant didn't actually help read and blah blah blah, then I remember I don't like either one of them and I remain happy. Funny thing is, if Gundy had played Reid against OU the last two years he'd probably have a two-game winning streak going against the Sooners. Athletic QBs give OU FITS. Instead he puts in Zac Robinson who fumbled on the goal line against OU not once but twice! In Stillwater two years ago he jumped backwards into the endzone and tried to stretch the ball and got nailed in the back and dropped it. He did basically the same thing in Norman last year. I bet Reid wouldn't have done that. He's a good kid, who's done everything right.......
  17. I wouldn't mind him so much if he didn't lick his fingers and push his hair out of the way like a girl while shooting FTs. Then again everyone has their own weird FT quirks.
  18. You know at least this was a decent series. It brought the Lakers back to the forefront as a contender in my mind. Not that they weren't a contender after the Denver series, but Denver sucks so bad and the series was such an ass-kicking that I forgot they existed! And why can't both Game 7's be on Sunday? I don't want to wait till Monday to end the SA/NO series.
  19. Wow, that was a wild ending.
  20. I'm all for Chris Paul being finals MVP. I wish the NBA/Nike/ESPN marketing machine would get behind him. I actually like him.
  21. Tirico just went off on the Utah fans. That was kind of funny. I'm just ready for the conference finals. I'm glad LA and Detroit were able to take care of business and finish off there lesser opponents and get the ball rolling forward. It'd be nice if Boston and......well I don't know who's better between SA/NO, but I wish they and Boston would just finish it and get on to the next round so we can get a Detroit/SA final again (not that that's my favorite matchup, but it really feels like it may be rolling that way. then again i don't hate that matchup like everyone else seems to).
  22. It's quite possible. Guess you'll have to wait on the edge of your seat.
  23. No meltdown. I'd just quit watching. Well it doesn't really matter because the west team is going to beat the shit out of whoever comes out of the East. I don't think it matters which west team it is or which east team it is, it's going to be a straight up ass-kicking like last years finals.
  24. I hate hearing about him ALL the time. I'm tired of having him shoved down my throat anytime I watch anything sports or NBA-related. I'm tired of people trying to claim he's better than Jordan (guess what? Jordan never lost a finals let alone get swept!) It has nothing to do with other people liking him. People like Chris Paul, I like Chris Paul. I've been told Lebron James is the best player in the NBA since he was in HS. I'm tired of it. I react badly when someone is crammed down my throat. You dislike him because he is arguably the best player in the world. In case you didn't notice, when someoen is the best at what they do, they are usually talked abotu alot. The throat cramming of the Celtics have been just as big since people handed them the title the day after the trade was made. Boston 3 party, did you guys wear the same thing to work, watching the hoosiers on the bus...they are in just as many commercials as Lebron is right now. The problem people are pointing out your irrational over the top hatred is that you are being hypcoritcal with it. There is nothing wrong with disliking a player, but there is a line when you are a little...insane. You crossed that line. And seeing as you don't dislike the guy because of him, but more because he is a talked about player, thats hardly enough reason to go to insane hate level. At worse, you have to admit you are kinda extreme dude. Ok so I'm extreme. Whatever, it's probably not going to change. I'm tired of being witness.
  25. Well, I'll watch it but I don't have to like it when he's in there. I can root against him, like I'm doing now. As for the Lakers, yeah they've actually become kind of likeable. And this is coming from a historic hardcore Laker hater. Maybe 909 was right, maybe Shaq was the problem! Because the last few seasons without him I haven't actively hated the Lakers, just not cared. This season I kind of got turned off of the Suns after they got Shaq. I thought it was because they weren't as exciting, but maybe it was fat boy. Then again I still don't like Luke Walton.........
