/shrug It all comes down to what you're into- I can certainly see why someone who loathes romance stories would hate VIII, because you're right- unlike IX or X, there's nothing else there to take the focus off the Squall/Rinoa romance. But I love romance, and that's why I love VIII- it has a very clear focus and it sticks to it. Plus, the setting and general ambience of the game (having the best FF soundtrack of them all helps a LOT here) is unrivaled by any other FF game. I like romance as much as the next guy. But I didn't enjoy that romance at all.

I sure as hell thought OU did in '00. They beat the Cornfuckers, beat KSU twice and dominated sports-media darling FSU Try arguing with a Miami fan over it.

I'm still a newbie...you are telling me that there has never been a real national champion that everyone agrees on? God damn that sucks. But even with a playoff there will still be "Oh they got lucky. They don't deserve it." talk.

But I'm still wanting to know what people will say if OU wins the National Title and Michigan beats USC. Will you say that OU isn't the national champion or doesn't deserve it? Because suddenly they have the best record in the league and the AP poll will vote them #1 will it not? Therefore OU is the champion no if's and's or but's.

So we've basically got it down to LSU and Oklahoma at either one or two. You know I want my team to have the National Title...but god dammit I don't want it like this. I'd just rather they played Michigan. YES YOU HEARD ME RIGHT. I'd rather LSU and USC battle it out. I don't want OU to have it like this. But it's looking like they will.

Well if USC loses to Michigan then they'll say that everything works and LSU/OU is the undisputed champion. When is the Rose Bowl anyways? We'll know if we have a co-champion before the game happens. And it'll be interesting to see if the commentators make mention of it during the Sugar Bowl. Oh and if USC wins...do they get a big crystal football? And does the winner of the OU/LSU get one to? If this BS continues I'm so through with College Football....NFL all the way......

Yes I am very happy that Bill Snyder finally got his Big XII championship. But I'm a Sooner fan and it hurts that it had to come at there expense. And we have a national title in recent memory? According to most people we don't deserve that either. And I'm pretty much positive that next year will be an OU/KSU rematch. OU's got pretty much the same team minus Jason White. Although Jason White is the best thing on that team. However 2003 will always be remembered as What Could've Been. Unfortunately 2003 OU will now go down as just a good team in history.

Unbelievable. USC's going to be #1 in BOTH polls and get shunted off to the Rose Bowl. What a bunch of fuckwits. That is higly likely. But hey the BCS could take a huge swing and rank everyone the same way as the polls. Then nobody bitches about OU...because they're the devil or something. Hell if they'd won there conference there would still be some argument about them not deserving it.

All losses are the same. Therefore let's look at who had the best season. OU. OU deserves to be in the national title game. What are you going to say if OU wins the national title game and USC loses there bowl game? Are you still going to say they don't deserve the national title?
