Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden) and Matt Barlow (Who was in Iced Earth, but he's apparantly retired from the music biz now, but he's here anyway because he owns your balls).

If I'm not mistaken, didn't they start calling Kidman's Pedigree variation a Kid Krusher in the WWF for a short period of time? I believe he couldn't use the ACTUAL Kid Krusher, on account of Christian already did, so he just switched moves, but kept the name. Could be wrong though. Also, a question on Mark Briscoe's Cut-Throat Suplex. I know what the move is, but is that REALLY a suplex? Mind you, I've only ever SEEN him do the move once, and when he did it that time, he picked the guy up, held him for a bit, then planted him. Now, while I suppose it TECHNICALLY is a suplex (because it sends their feet over his head) shouldn't the fact that he holds it (or at least did there) change that? If I'm not mistaken, a suplex is a type of throw - and I don't think something can be called a throw if it involves grabbing someone, picking them up, holding them there, THEN dropping them. Every suplex I can think of right now (Except a delayed vertical, and some back suplexes) is done in one quick motion - grab, and throw. No delay, no hold, just throw. And besides, if the Cut-Throat is a suplex, then why isn't a Reverse DVD (Or Burning Hammer, but I didn't wanna use that name, because Dace would probably get picky about the fact that it's not a BH unless done off the buckles) a suplex? Or even a regular DVD? Or are those suplexes that are just never called suplexes? I dunno...it just seems pretty strange to me. Dace, others - any advice or insight?

Most stupid thing a mark has said to you
The Metal Maniac replied to IWD's topic in General Wrestling
Lemme set the scene - me and a few people are in school, discussing wrestling. This was shortly after Brock Lesnar showed up, and like, the day after he F-5'ed Rikishi. Anyway, we were talking about how fucking impressive it was, and we tried to explain this to one of the females sitting at our table, even though she doesn't like/watch wrestling. Her comment? "He was probably attached to some wires." WHAT THE SHIT? It always boggles my mind how people will believe the MOST ridiculous things before they'll admit that anything in wrestling could be even close to real. For another example, there's the old "Goose skin" theory... -
I voted Quagmire. *Meg walks in on Quagmire and some woman* Meg: Oh my God, I'm sorry! Quag: Don't be sorry - you probably just bought me another three minutes!

People have done dumber things for dumber reasons. I wouldn't be shocked in the LEAST.

*Shrug* I don't read magazines, least of all music magazines. I find them to be utterly worthless for the most part, and I never really care what they have to say anyway.

Huh? Ok, dude, that's just plain silly. Like, seriously, you better be fucking kidding. I don't know who actually even drums for Tool, and I really don't care either. The thing is this - drumming alone does not a band make. And this is coming from a drummer. And besides, if having one really talented band member makes you a great band, then Dream Theater should be universally praised as the greatest band on earth. And come to think of it, I can't recall ever hearing any Tool drumming that really impressed me - And thanks to my cousin, I've heard quite a bit of Tool, though nothing off their newest CD, as far as I know. Anyway, I voted for Nirvana, because they started a fad, which died out, like all fads do. I'm sorry, that accomplishment doesn't make you the greatest band ever. I would've voted Radiohate, because I HATE them with a passion, but at least I don't hear many people saying that they're some great big huge thing that changed the world, or whatever. EDIT: I just noticed I wrote "Radiohate", not Radiohead, but I'm leaving it that way. Isn't that like, a Freudian Slip or something?

Yeah, funny story. My sister, who works in a Microsoft Call Center, just called me to warn me about this, even though I don't run XP, which is the only thing it seems to hit. Apparantly they had, like, 900 some-odd people trying to get help for this damned thing at once today. I was told that it DOESN'T get fixed - people have apparantly formatted their hard drives to no avail - But if that link above works, well, that's good. Also, apparantly somewhere in the virus, there's something written like "Billy, when are you gonna fix your software?" Odd, no?

I greatly enjoy the show, but I never seemed to watch it on FOX. I also thought it had been cancelled, or something. I love how they can randomly make up whatever shit they need to suit the episode, like how they'll mention that a supervillian was once elected mayor, or they'll talk about some alien invasion or some odd shit like that. And Zoidberg rules all. "I found this shell in the same dumpster I threw my old shell in, only this one had a raccoon inside! Dinner AND a new home!"

As the title says, a question: I had heard a while back that people were having problems with the DVD players in their PS2 - skipping and such. However, I also heard that this was because those were the first-run models, and that such errors had been corrected. In any event, my question is this: Is it a reliable DVD player? I'm not looking for top-notch quality or anything, I just wanna know if it works well enough that I could just buy a PS2, instead of buying a DVD player. Also, I had heard some sorta rumours about something called a PS2.5, or something. I dunno, I guess it was supposed to have a better something, but anyway - any truth to that? In fact, are ANY of the top game companies looking to put out a new console anytime in the next year or so? I don't wanna drop $250 bucks on something that'll drop a hundred bucks in price 2 weeks later. Any help is appreciated.

I really liked Vanilla Coke when it first came out...but it turned out to be, quite literally, a flavour of the month. I'm back to regular Coke now, and I rarely have Vanilla, even though it's readily available. I doubt I'll try Vanilla Pepsi. Blue was bad enough, and I don't like Pepsi that much anyway.

Alright, cool. Thanks for the advice, guys.

You better be kidding. Either that, or you need to go watch more Simpsons. And for the record...Korn's putting their "One" cover on a CD? I smell the suck from here. Secondly, Choken, I think that was kind of an interesting statement you made about Hetfield, mainly because I really can't ever recall him growling, and "Nothing Else Matters" wasn't the first time he sung in a softer voice like that. For evidence, look to "Fade to Black" or "One". I think the "backlash" against the song (In quotations because EVERYONE I know adores that song) would've been more from the fact that the song is mostly all soft, as opposed to the songs mentioned above, which followed the slow-fast-slow-fast bit.

Whoracle is another of their best CDs, for the record.
